ParticipantReporters, America’s Best:
As expected, the Bond scare is just part of the “Black Monday” narrative. They are running a panty-raid on Trump’s tariffs. Who? Europe, of course. It’s hard to tell but the Fx markets demonstrate who’s selling what, it’s too big to hide. NOT China, who only owns $770B, whereas Europe’s whole CB system is backed with $3.5T+ in USTs now. …Oddly. It thought we were Nazis and you hated us, soooo??? So is the Bond reversal real? We proved stocks drop = bonds drop? Not entirely. Remains to be seen since it didn’t go off and was reversed. But really looks like Europe attacked Wall St, and Wall St rebuffed them…as expected.
What is the goal? Trying to sell German Bunds, which are awesome, from an awesome nation with no problems, great production, on a peaceful continent with great legal soundness. If that was the point, none of those were sold either.
I’m thinking that GPT bankruptcy talk was really helpful. Pointed out things I’m not thinking about, not emphasizing, about the PR side of the restructure, confidence, etc. That’s why have to drop spending sharply with DOGE (note Phoenix: tax raise (and prob not) but DOGE = $1T spending drop) to get CONFIDENCE in the restructure. Again, that’s why bankruptcy/restructure expert installed as we all said in 2016 but he couldn’t act without rooting out (Euro)traitors.
I’m watching the monetary, but ultimately, humans are odd and if they BELIEVE in the money/company then it works. Even when numerically it “shouldn’t”. So it’s as or more important to SELL the idea, which Trump does so well and I can’t stand. Roll my eyes, gold Hotel lobbies, etc. Ugh. But I’m a sharp minority on that.
Okay, following yesterday’s calculation from everyone, EUROPE needs this. EUROPE set up the panty-raid on Bonds. They have $3T in UST ammunition waiting to short, use their media idiots to set up the “Black Monday”, start the stock margin calls, get Fink, their Nazi Central Banker out there saying he’s “Terrified” on national TV (You’re terrified? Not shorting? You’re fired, sir. I’ll beak my arm reaching for the phone to sell a hedge fund that doesn’t know how to make money on market moves like this) That kicks in, they start with the Bonds, demonstrating WEAKNESS. Real weakness, as the world is selling, running to safety, and “No longer UST as safety”. …But it’s not, it’s Europe using their $3T in ammunition to paint this picture and clobber the U.S., starting an overall run and market panic.
Got it?
We know this bc they have no choice but to sell CURRENCIES if they sell their bonds, so we know that didn’t appear in Asia, U.S., anywhere else. It’s a (fake) RAID to ATTACK the U.S. markets.
What does Wall St do? They laugh and reverse, shrug it off. Right, we know. But HOW??
How? Easy as pie: The “Tariffs” are the totally fake cause. None of this is real. They float the rumor Trump is reversing for 90 days. This works and reverses the action. Then action reverses again as Europe starts rigging. Trump then comes out and says 90 day break in Tariffs for real, reversing the action AGAIN.
Europe then full stop. All panty-raids stopped in their tracks.
Meanwhile, morons all on the outside, the Muppets, say “Muh Trump” “Muh no what he do-ing”. He’s “Capricious” and “Moronic” reversing himself. Caved in. Capitulated. …Again with not mentioning how getting 70 nations to negotiate better deals is “Losing”?
What then? As the markets are worried about X, Y, Z, he removed X, Y, Z, real or not. iPhones, which of course have like zero actual trade volume. It’s just removing ammunition of idiot reporters from DEIvy League Schools. Keeping “The Narrative” from being able to re-form for the Minions in Europe that can’t think at all, have to go back to their Alien Supercomputer or whatever they use for a brain since they don’t have one and everything has to be planned out months in advance.
Got it?
Seeing TEN YEARS of this is why plain folks like me just wait a sec before piling on how Trump is an idiot, doesn’t know what he’s doing. Yeah, like the guy who set up the idiot tariff chart that can do no simple maths? He was from Harvard. As with Vance (Yale), Bessant (plus also Wall St), and himself (Wharton). So I’m supposed to trust “Experts” from DEIvy League schools, right? Right, Reporter with 2.5GPA degree from Columbia? YOU told me that. So I do! THIS guy from Harvard, not your guy.
And how is Trump supposed to tell the American people what he’s doing? Shut up, they’ll believe him or they won’t, so if it loses too many of them, he’ll adjust the plan. His base is not upset in the slightest, the gnashing is all on TV. Democrats who never heard of tariffs are overnight experts in it, just like with Covid and masks. The IMPORTANT people: Wall St and Main st, who have actual ammunition and troops at risk, they know what he’s doing, it’ll be obvious to him.
Apologies accepted by cash or check.
“The Orange Jew is already backtracking, talking tough, acting weak. How has this whole tariff episode benefitted the USA? You have pissed off your trading partners and gained nothing.”
70 renegotiations in our favor is nothing? IS he backtracking though? He just spot-tested the system for everyone’s position and reactions, then got Europe to dump billions losing the rig. Outed China as their major enemy.
“I suspect that his ((mates)) making a killing was just a side show, there is more going on, and none of the voters know the plan.”
We totally agree, Trump probably DID have Wall St insider trade, but only bc they already know the root conditions of game play such that it can’t be avoided, and therefore his subsequent actions are obvious. The public doesn’t know it’s Europe attacking us and wouldn’t believe it, because we’re telling them. Luongo among others are out in public weekly for years saying so, nobody stopping you from listening. Armstrong is telling you, a top trader, top blog, sells an expensive institutional newsletter – what do you want from me if you can’t listen??? Like housing in 06, EVERYONE told you. It couldn’t be clearer. I can’t help it if after all that you still “Don’t know the plan.” So to some extent at that round of Hold ‘em Poker, Europe put up a bluff and we called and stole their money. Now we’re stronger and they’re weaker again.
Let’s go another round.
DOGE is cutting off the CIA/Globalist Dollar money-machines. The trade deficit w Canada is cutting off their EuroDollar liquidity ammunition. Powell was out yesterday, saying he was warned there are “Liquidity issues” now. Yeah, we know: We caused them on purpose to kill Europe. And no banks caved, so clearly we’re on top of this and only redlined.
“the Chinese practice a more “live and let live” approach to life, they are not being encouraged to think they are powerful, they are fully aware that they are powerless so they try to live a profitable life, doing the best for their families.”
Sounds like Americans.
Cartoon: Yup, Americans are terrible. American’s suck. Americans have no power at all. Americans must remain my slave. Are we though? We REALLY have nooooooo power at all? None? Really?
You’re SURE? You’re going to bet your life that America has no power at all? Don’t let me stop you. Rest your big weary head right here on this block.
“Pepe sees the Chinese as refined and Trump as a brute. And finance is not his forté.”
China = All good, perfect and true. America = all evil, bad, wrong, and every American human must be destroyed. That’s Love! Perfect logic! Ask anyone in Comments here.
Same with interview: Nobody wants a trade war. Nobody wants tariffs. …SO WHY DO YOU HAVE THEM, China? Since they work terrible and destroy nations, I’m told, why is China so dumb to put them on, and what were they doing that seemed to overcome them and cause their success for 30 years once they did?
So odd! It’s almost like tariffs WORK, every time in history that they’re tried. Huh.
Sacks: again, this reporter, every reporter is HORRIFIED at the thought of work: any work! At all. Thus, “Socialism”? This is exactly what I hear every day from the field. “They” will do the work, while “We” the Schmartz people, the PMCs, the college people, will sit in our apartments eating jam and telling the STUPID people how to work in coal mines. Of course!
…Not realizing – the drooling mouth-breathers – that when Comrade Stalin shows up, you’ll be FIRST in the uranium mines, you moronic self-aggrandizing troublemaker.
Look at this conversation, coast to coast! WHO will make Blue jeans? We F—king made Blue Jeans here in like 2010 you dips—ts. We probably still are now in some niche. Why on God’s earth would we NOT make jeans, or toasters? Are we too GOOD for it? If we’re too good to make the toaster, maybe we’re too good to use one. The ATTITUDE of these people is like round them all up and give them a beating. No wonder Mao wanted work camps. Maybe we can cure them of this for a second. The idea they’re “Too good” for anyone, for anything, for any work, even for certain WHITE collar work, OMG, help me. Fist. Of. Death. …
Somebody needs to shut off their plumbing. “Oh you want a TOILET? Yeah, well, I heard you’re too good to mine copper, which we do here, work in a pvc plant, which we do here, make valve cocks, which we do here, dig water lines, which we do here. Since you’re clearly too good for all that, can’t be done by Americans, well! Just going to leave it for you. Here’s a bucket. Good luck with cholera.”
Can’t make things in America: O Rlly? Why is Mercedes new plant here then? They don’t employ people, it’s all AI alien factories? O rlly? Then why do they have thousands of employees then? Probably somebody still even makes toasters here and they’re a mere 20% higher.
The combination of pure ignorance, and pure, rarefied arrogance is breathtaking in combination. It’s like staring into the sun, if stupidity and pure human sewage was the sun.
“As uncertainty in the market grew, however, Trump and his supporters began to shift decidedly toward presenting the tariffs as a negotiating strategy.”
So what you’re saying is, they staged this WWE and then took the posture that was most popular. Then didn’t notice and believed every word because: Reporter. Not a single suspicous bone in their body. Just like Ambrose Bierce and H K Mencken would be proud.
Nixon said he’s not a crook, that settles it!
“The Toddler Temper Tantrum-style Trump Tariff Tizzy (TTT), now accelerated to 145% – and counting – is yet another thunderous trademark pigeon smashing the chessboard gambit. It won’t work.”
Speaking of Reporters, it ALREADY worked, Pepe, but you’re too partisan to notice even with how it’s Obvious from Orbit. AND we haven’t settled the final deal with China. Maybe that’s lousy, but it’s hard if not IMPOSSIBLE to think it won’t be a step down from their total mercantilism and a step up for us. That is: it’s a win, just how MUCH of a win. Emotionally, Pepe can’t stand that. So he can’t tell the Truth. Keep your emotions at home, pal.
“It is Trump during his first term who pulled the US out of the 2015 JCPOA nuclear deal (in April 2018)”
This is not well understood, and I’m not sold on it myself, but JCPOA was COLLATERAL for EUROPE. They going get Euro-oil into Iran and keep their fascist system going. That’s also the CASH, as in, where did it go? Eurodollar system. They didn’t spend it in Kansas! Obviously since Obama and the NeoCons are all Globalists, Atlanticists, etc. London, Israel, Ukraine, etc. So we stopped this as we stopped Red Sea transit for why? EUROPE. Europe is the one extracting Russia, America, Africa, and everywhere else.
““Iran and the United States held their first diplomatic engagement IN YEARS on Saturday ..”
And why is that? Biden also no meetings with Russia, why is that? Europe needs WAR. Israel needs WAR. Only war can save them, and only if they drag us in.

If he had been my English teacher I reckon that I would rite more better than I do, and probably be a lot less likely to sass back when criticized. Can you even imagine how good of a shot he must have been back in the day when he had the steady hands and sharper eyes of a youngster? If you could even barely hear his voice, way off in the distance, yell “stop or I’ll shoot!” then taking no further steps at all would definitely be the advisable next step to take.

When making his “Liberation Day” announcement,
Trump pitched the tariffs as a means of encouraging domestic production in the United States and revitalizing towns left behind by globalization.
“Now it’s our turn to prosper, and in so doing, use trillions and trillions of dollars to reduce our taxes and pay down our national debt,” he said.
“Jobs and factories will come roaring back into our country and you see it happening already.
We will supercharge our domestic industrial base.”
———-
Even Lutnick, one of the administration’s most vocal tariff proponents, appeared to fall in line by Wednesday, saying “President Trump is standing firm against our global trade imbalances.
We will sign the greatest deals in history.” “The Golden Age is coming.
We are committed to protecting our interests, engaging in global negotiations and exploding our economy,”

Reality is more like the statement by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council: “Given that U.S. exports to China already have no market acceptability under the current tariff rates, if the U.S. further imposes additional tariffs on Chinese goods, China will simply ignore them.

ParticipantI have a few things to say to you, but have at best medium-to-low confidence in your willingness or ability to simply understand any of them. Nevertheless, fairness demands that I at least give you the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to understand and consequently reconsider your political and theological positions recently expressed.
The Americanistic expression of “having a chip on the shoulder”, isn’t used much nowadays because it hearkens back to a much rougher and tougher day in this country when men more frequently engaged in the bare-knuckle method of settling differences of opinion. The picturesque (but unlikely) notion is that a guy would put a wood chip on his shoulder and dare the other guy to try to knock it off if he felt strongly enough about his disagreement to give that a try. I don’t happen to have a chip on my shoulder, Aspie (III), but it sounds like you do. Keep your damn chip there if you want to, I’ve already done my duty (of truthfully informing you that you’re making a serious mistake about God), so the rest of it is over to you.
Carefully note, however, that the next time you try selling your CCP Master’s ordered anti-Christian propaganda bullshit that it’s pretty likely that I’ll call you out for it again, too.
A couple of other minor items before I let ya go, is that the “bearded guy on a throne in the sky” trope is pretty worn out, especially anywhere outside the children’s sand-box, so you might want to work on stealing some new material. Try using one of those new AI ChatBots that are cropping up everywhere. I’m sure they’ve got some good stuff that will make you look like a clever adult instead of a cognitively challenged 6 year old.

On serial TV shows, especially those with a fixed theme and recurrent cast of characters, it is standard practice (carved in stone, actually) to have a thick catalogue of things that must always be done in a certain way so that there is predictable continuity of those characters’ character. Ironically (and no pun intended) this stack of firm policy is called the show’s “Bible”, and to say that is followed “religiously” would be an understatement.
I’m assuming that the Aspie Show (now moving into Season 3) has just such a written-out-in-detail list of Do’s & Don’ts that he has to follow, and that it would include his back-story and many other things as well, including the continual covert (and not-so-covert) undermining attacks on all things Christian. The Blobsters take that objective very very seriously, because it is literally existentially crucial to their goal.

Question: autism, rainbow spectrum, Where is normal?
The idea behind the “autism rainbow spectrum” is to celebrate the diverse range of neural differences rather than pin everyone to a single “normal.”
In this metaphor, every hue represents a unique way of experiencing the world, and there isn’t a single color that stands in for “normal” because what we call normal is itself a social construct—a set of arbitrary expectations that often exclude the very variation the spectrum celebrates. To unpack this further:
Neurodiversity Over Normalization:
Traditional notions of “normal” imply a standard against which differences are measured and often found lacking.
The autism rainbow embraces the idea that there is no one-size-fits-all way of being.
Every individual on the spectrum exhibits a mix of strengths and challenges that don’t need to conform to a preconceived idea of normalcy.
This approach challenges society to replace rigid definitions with acceptance of a continuum of experiences 2.Social Constructs and Bias:
What we consider “normal” is largely shaped by cultural, social, and historical contexts.
For many, especially in the realm of neurology, “normal” is defined by the majority’s experiences—that is, by neurotypical behaviors.
Yet, by elevating neurodiversity, we question this majority rule.
The autism rainbow suggests that the differences seen in autism are simply variations in human wiring, each valid in its own right.
In this view, the very term “normal” can be limiting and even exclusionary .A Broader Perspective on Value:
Embracing the diversity inherent in the autism spectrum shifts the focus from trying to fit individuals into narrow definitions to celebrating the variety of cognitive experiences.
In this sense, the search for “normal” becomes less about a checklist of expected behaviors and more about recognizing and validating the full range of human potential.
Many advocates argue that there isn’t a place for a single “normal” on the spectrum—each color (or trait) contributes to the beauty and complexity of the overall picture .Ultimately, the question “Where is normal?” is a reminder that normalcy is not a clearly defined destination on the autism spectrum.
Instead, the spectrum is a mosaic of distinct experiences that defy simple categorization. The goal is less about establishing a baseline of normalcy and more about expanding our definition of what it means to live a full and valued life, with every shade considered essential.April 13, 2025 at 3:42 pm #186129D Benton Smith

I toyed with the idea of “old wise guy”, and a couple other possible arrangements, but hey, eventually ya just got to choose one and go with it or else the moment is lost.

Participant@DBS: AI Aspie might fool us both, but would probably have yet another “different feel”, which is hard to explain, but common nonetheless.
My wife and I both had an uneasy feeling about a driver in the lane to our left, going a very steady speed around a big, sweeping turn as we got back in to Austin this afternoon, and she commented on it as I accelerated a bit to get past him. As we passed I saw that he was looking at his smart phone to the left of his steering wheel. He had wandered slightly in the lane on the turn, not into our lane, but we Both had the same uneasy feeling.
As I continued driving, with both eyes on the road, I tried to figure what it could have been that we both sensed right away.
I wonder if the correction-responses and speed of an alert and responsive driver have a lot of little variations and corrections, which we see, but can’t pick out as such. I did remember noting that the driver just seemed to be going around the corner smoothly, not speed-matching or speed-diverging from other cars…April 14, 2025 at 5:12 am #186143D Benton Smith

The skill that you and your wife demonstrated doesn’t have a specific and accepted nomenclature in the society we currently operate within, but in less distracted and brainwashed societies it’s both more common and more accepted as a simple fact of life. Lots of people have it and use it without even realizing what they’re doing. It has saved my life more times than I can easily count (dozens of times at the very least)
I think that it primarily consists of a hyper-awareness or preternatural sensitivity to the things that are simply going on all around us, but which are routinely dismissed by most people for a variety of very interesting reasons (and none of them good.)
The ability looks and feels like “Extra Sensory Perception”, but it’s really just perception, period, and its presence in an individual seems to emanate from the pores like a sort of psychic pheromone that attracts good folks and repels baddies, for good reason in both cases.
I would bet dollars to doughnuts that you have a steamer trunk full of stories in which the ability served you well. I sure do, and lately even more so because necessity, danger and hard times hone the skill to a finer edge.

ParticipantThanks John Day- an English teacher, who’d a thunk. Very cool.
His other channel is very entertaining and educational.DBS, very cool, I marvel at his marksmanship…in some of his vids, you can actually see the round arc from a distance right on target. There’s something fascinating about accuracy, precision and modern tools.
Keep up the good intentions !I fail miserably trying to deal with the modern worlds insanity, trying to embrace calm and clear- but rage monster has other rebellious things to shout at times…
