@Aspnaz, about corrupt Chinese governments: I have long thought, as my grandmother, who grew up in China believed, that one of thetragic events of the 20th century was the sudden and untimely death of Sun Yat-Sen, leaving his two Lieutenants, Mao and Chiang, to fight each other in a Chinese civil war.
Sun was the leader China needed. They both were not.If I admit that there are upper echelons of governments that I have no control over, and that these echelons deal with each other on secret channels, then I have to see that demands for “transparency” and exposed “truths” are political tactics.
I am the dog and geopolitical truth is the car: I’m not sure what to do with it when I get it.
