Could you elaborate on your reasoning behind those statements? You say them as though the point you’re trying to make is something that the reader would just implicitly understand instantaneously. But in my case, at least, I don’t get the implicit message that you intended to make at all.
How is wanting the City of London to just disappear forever a desire that is depraved? It has always been my understanding that the City of London itself was the depraved thing. The whole idea of “planning” is the process of carrying out a series of consequential steps to achieve predetermined targets leading to the ultimate accomplishment of obtaining the main objective that was planned for in advance. That’s almost too obvious to warrant repetition except for the fact that if you keep people fighting over the sub-targets they don’t “connect enough dots” (until it is too late to prevent) to realize that the whole damn thing was planned.
