I’m not a Freemason nor a Rosicrucian, but I did enjoy spending time with the Georgia Guidestones for the decade and a half plus I had with them driving back from folks to my home up in Northeast Georgia. Y’all that get your info about them from the usual breathless Internet writers didn’t have the opportunity to just sense and sit there, in that tiny fenced-in box, surveilled by the small cameras and snooped by the WiFi grid and eyed by the softly munching horses and donkey.
The stones were misunderstood. They aren’t a celebration of the destruction of the Human Race, but its renewal through the remnant a loving hand scoops up from amidst the creamed paste of dead and crushed bodies the enslaved and dispossessed will soon be. It’s an admission that no human is going to end or stop what is going to happen, but what can be done is to prevent it from starting over again. It’s a rational autistic dream that humans, endowed with reason, truth, and beauty —classic Platonic myths here, you know— will become more than their bodies allow —and even then the humans, admixed and adulterated with animals and yeasts and machine spirits, aren’t quite what they are used to be. . . .
Y’all are the ones who dread Ahriman, even if mistakenly calling it Satan because you never leaned any better, and yet didn’t realize how much a difference it makes to try and talk to your distant flesh through talking rocks rather than swiping tiktoks. You post your disapproval of an ancient lifeway through a virtual space that actively wipes your mind and by design and by function —isn’t it wild and humorous to be a human being?
When I come down from the mountain and out the holler, and I see and smell and step over what all these humans who call themselves alive and participating in the whole of this thing called Humanity, I wonder what it is you who denounce the depopulators really want. You hate them, all those dysgenic, demented two-legs who are polluting your rivers, your cultures, your women’s wombs, your liturgies, your ethics, your ignorable advertisements snuck in-between your video shorts, so why do you want to stop giving over what remains to those who destroy and degrade and defile what little value and spirit and joy grows around you? You moved away from the crowds to be self-reliant and yet don’t want the psychopaths to murder them all before they get a chance chance at birth… and tomorrow or yesterday you pour clorox in your drains and pesticides on your walls and herbicides in your gardens and wash, wash, wash away the constant genocides all over your flesh because you made a careful and constant distinction between what Life is and what is already dead.
It’s a shame to go back to the clay scrape off Hwy 77 and rebuild in my mind what once was, but we do this with past relationships and move on when the traces have folded everything back in to something else, don’t we? You won’t be able to resist Ahriman if you don’t even know whether or not you are part of the Rotting Goddess, whether you are a spirit or a soul, a piece of the divine or the totality of created being, a poem in a potted plant or a moving statue embedding forgotten hopes.
