After Obama made his immigration speech last night where he used the phrase “we are a nation of laws,” a blogger said:
“As Charles Dickens in Oliver Twist reminded us, ‘The law is a ass – a idiot.'”
How did Obama keep a straight face while saying this? If it were me, I’d have been rolling on the floor laughing! I couldn’t have gotten the words out.
A nation of “outlaws” would be more appropriate, don’t you think?
