What took him so long?
I don’t have any insider information or other special knowledge, but my best guess is that the reason it took him so long to pardon Tina Peters is that his Bosses gave Peters a prison sentence for opposing their actions and they insisted that she serve out the sentence to THEIR satisfaction. Trump just signed the papers when he was told to.

Ukraine has failed to convince the Europeans to steal Russian assets as only 13% of German lawmakers support the move. Some countries such as France, the UK and Holland are refusing to take part. Belgium is also holding out against the move: a decision on which is expected on the 18th or 19th December. Without the theft of this money, the Europeans will find it difficult to support the Ukraine war.
According to Zelensky, the Europeans have prepared yet another ‘alternative’ peace plan – in an effort to make themselves relevant. The new plan will not be acceptable to the Russians because: it does not include demilitarisation, it will allow the theft of Russian assets, the Zaporozhe NPP will fall under US control and the US will provide Ukraine with a security guarantee equivalent to article 5. The publication decided to publish its version of a peace plan, which is allegedly being discussed now between Ukraine, the USA, and the EU:
“The USA, Ukraine, and the EU are discussing a new 20-point peace plan, which fixes the deadlines for Ukraine’s accession to the EU, the security architecture, and the parameters of demilitarization,”
The key points of the “plan”:
The plan consists of three documents: a peace plan, an agreement on security guarantees, and an economic recovery plan;
Along the entire ceasefire line – from the Donetsk region to Kherson – it is proposed to create a demilitarized zone, behind which there will be a deeper zone, where the introduction of heavy weapons is prohibited;
There are disputes about the exchange of territories and how the borders will be drawn. A “Korean option” is possible – a fixed demarcation line with a deferred decision on the status of disputed areas;
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant should not fall under Russian control, the USA may take over the management of the facility;
Ukraine’s membership in the EU is planned for 2027. The USA intends to put pressure on Hungary so that it does not block the accession. It is expected that membership will stimulate trade, investment, and help control “destructive” corruption in the state;
The USA will provide security guarantees, similar to Article 5 of NATO. Ukraine insists on the ratification of these guarantees by Congress;
Ukraine’s sovereignty will be protected from any Russian veto;
There is a discussion about increasing the maximum number of the army from 600 to 800 thousand soldiers, but Ukraine rejects any formal restrictions;
The Trump administration proposes to allocate $100 billion of frozen Russian assets for the restoration of Ukraine. The amount may be increased;
American officials are negotiating with BlackRock and the World Bank about the creation of a Ukrainian Development Fund, which should attract about $400 billion for the country’s restoration. Trump wants similar investments for Russia.
Raving Rutte, speaking at a NATO security conference and appealing to Trump’s ears, continued to scaremonger about the inevitability of an attack by Russia on Europe. The Russians have agreed to sign a legal document stating that they will not invade Europe but that will not placate the fabricated fears of European leaders.
The European leaders are threatening to sell $2.34 trillions of US debt if Trump ‘betrays’ them on Ukraine (that’s how they will see it if Trump get’s the Ukrainians to pull out of the Donbass – which won’t happen imv). This move would not only collapse the bond market, it would also collapse Europe’s financial reserves. I doubt that this will happen but such impulses demonstrate the widening gap between the US and most of Europe.

that the Americans have realised that they can no longer dominate the world and will focus instead on dominating the Western Hemisphere (i.e. the Americas) while embracing Russia. But they have not abandoned the idea of being the best and most powerful country in the world which means having a stronger military and a stronger economy than anyone else. It also appears that they wish to keep BRICS countries out of the Western hemisphere – though the largest country in South America, Brazil, is already a member. Naturally, the US will attempt to cause divisions between BRICS countries and frustrate the development of this fledgling organisation.
