Looking at all red, what do we see? What if ALL the markets were red, as we regularly expect in Nvidia and other nonsense stocks? CRE of course, but single-unit houses?
If all markets are red, by definition the US$ is going UP. That’s what that means. Of course, it’s likely in that case the USDX, Euro, are all still near $1, (what a coincidence) and we can merge into a one global currency as planned. But not necessarily, as that would be the issue of “Europe cracking” from the loss in Ukraine – and they already spent Ukraine, which they didn’t win, and spent the frozen funds, and probably spent the breakup of all Russia as well. That’s why they haven’t gone bankrupt when I long thought they would. The check-kiting and accounting fraud is too complicated and too hidden for me to see. Of course. Because they have to fool ACTUAL market people and bondholders like Dowd or Burry, or there’d long have been a run and a short on them.
What am I getting at? Same as so often: Core currency goes down LAST. And first it goes UP. Way, way UP. So if Europe cracks, money will flood here, at the same time money is rushing into the Dow — or anything, 1920s style – but SOME markets will have already crashed (Bitcoin) then MORE markets will “crash”. But GM, GE, aren’t “Crashing” they’re the same stocks and companies as ever. What’s happening is, the US$ will rise vs Europe, Stocks, everything, as everyone goes to core currency and tries to shed debt. Even gold. You sell what you CAN, not what you WANT.
And only THEN will everything be broken and crash. With the US$ being the LAST thing that gets broked. The economy long since has, as we’ve seen not 2 years in the green since 2001, and Europe worse than us.
Just saying that as we see incomprehensible moves, in a way, but we may only be 1/3, 2/3s along the process right now. They then swap out the US$, debt, fake promises are written off, accounting fraud is mostly caught and cleared, etc, and we start over with less lies. How? We go back on a semi-gold, that is semi-REAL settlement system, just as always, and just as they’ve engineered and set up to be installed in the Fed, and with China (manufacturing) and Russia (Commodities). Along with India and everybody else. Everyone gets paid in kind, with REAL things, wheat, oil, or else REAL things, Gold, (bitcoin). And colonialism stops or is greatly curtailed for a while.
There were only two options: ever increasing fascism, a CBDC shoved down our throats via 1984 police state – since it wouldn’t work even for garage sales – OR you go BACK to honesty, have LESS expensive police state and violence, and do things VOLUNTARY, which is everso much cheaper. But the inflation they’re talking about, that you see in stores, like Dollar Stores, happened under Obama, Biden…heck Bush, why not? Trump DROPPED costs – they weren’t flat but they dropped – but we can’t let him off the hook since he did, or planned, stimmy checks, and locked down for Covid (voluntarily, by permitting the States/cities to be unconstitutional). Now he may not have ate the boomerang on that, but you could argue Biden’s inflation was caused by Trump’s stimmy lockdown. So he doesn’t get off.
But we’re talking 100-200% rise in 3 years of Biden. And now we’re 2% again, maybe 6% real, gas plummets which is the master cost under Trump. Both are possible. Now should he do more? Of course. He is “Allowing” home prices to spiral so rents are still “rising” (they’re sticky) and it’s pissing kids off, as well it should. However, the only “Solution” to this is to get Fannie out of Receivership, which the government refuses to do on his direct orders (As usual) and/or crash the entire financial system and re-set it, which you won’t like either. The United States is a country consisting primarily of human beings (growing evidence to the contrary not withstanding) and as such is subject to the same human foibles, mistakes and just plain old general purpose psychopathy that other countries are prone to as well..
We don’t have a patent on either good nor evil, so when you set out to find those things (good and evil) it’s a safe bet that you’ll find some. Of both.
And a good thing to do about bad things, when you find them, is to get rid of them as best you can, regardless of where it was found.
I don’t mind your patriotic love of country. I have a whole bunch of the same feelings too, but when you imply that the United States should be forgiven its trespasses because it is being unfairly criticized by people who are ever so much worse, then I just chalk it up to attempted deflection, caused by a deep sense of guilt for the truly horrible things that it has done or arranged to be done under its auspices.

I want you to know that I am not having a go at you, and that there is no personal component to my criticism of certain of your opinions. To me it is just straight up debate, and if it turns out in the end that I am wrong then I will just graciously and cleverly change my mind, correct my thinking, and thereby become righteous once again. I might even apologize or something like it (but don’t hold your breath waiting for THAT).
