    D. B. Smith:

JPM is sitting on a billion ounces of silver!

But they aren’t going to lift a finger to help anybody short of silver at these current prices.

Oh, no! JPM doesn’t help anybody out of the goodness of their heart!

Afterall, pirate JPM help create this silver shortage!

So, every dollar silver goes up, is a billion dollars JPM makes!

I believe Pirate JPM is saying, “Hi Hoe Silver!”

A billion ounces of silver may seem like a lot because it’s such a big number, BUT 680 million ounces (Moz), representing about 58% of total physical demand (1,164 Moz) is incorporated into products and processes where commercial recovery is limited or not yet viable at scale due to economic, technological, or collection challenges. The SHORT version of that wordy convoluted statement is to simply say that 680 ounces of silver are CONSUMED, annually.

Mining of NEW silver produces only 820 million ounces each year. Recovery of old silver through recycling provides another 194 million ounces, for a total of 1,024. Total market demand, however, is 1,164 million ounces. That’s a shortfall of 140 million ounces per year. Since the ONLY way to fill that demand is by drawing from existing stockpiles the world is literally “burning through” previously mined and stockpiled metal to the current tune of 140 million ounces SMALLER stockpiles every year, year after year, and that burn rate only increases as stockpiles shrink and demand rises due to the skyrocketing demand created by new technological needs that are arising from the high-tech solutions to prevent civilization from collapsing.

JP Morgan’s deep-vault reserves, even if they do amass to a billon ounces, (which I seriously doubt) only staves off utter collapse by a few years (7 at best), after which the entire edifice of technologically sustained human society sails out over the cliff of no return.

Again, there no shortage of silver.

There is a shortage of cheap silver.

For those willing to pay the current price, there is silver to be bought.

Those not willing to pay the current price will fall out of the silver market.

On Black Friday, the Chinese requested their loaned silver back.
The CME could not meet this demand, therefore the exchange was forced to shutdown (yeah that fake cooling problem!).

This blew the CME/LME silver paper derivatives sky high!
    And for keeps.
Now physical silver is finally driving silver prices, not paper derivatives.

In case you missed it, the Chinese blew the gold paper derivatives market up back in March 2024.
Physical gold is now driving gold prices, not paper gold derivatives.

China and Russia no longer allow their gold and silver mine production to be sold on world markets!

Would you care to bet pirate JPM wasn’t in cahoots with the Chinese on all of this?

When has a pirate ever been loyal?

No, actually, and that is the alarming material fact that I’ve attempted to get across. Total mine and refinery output is more than a hundred million ounces, less than what is being consumed every single year… and Samsungs new battery technology (which requires silver) is already driving the demand out the roof for physically delivered and irreversibly consumed pure silver.

It’s NOT just a matter of price and classic “supply & demand”. It is an EXISTENTIAL ASSAULT on our increasingly technology dependent civilization. If there is no increasingly technological dependent technological civilization, then there will consequently NOT BE an increasingly technological dependent technological civilization. That civilization which is about to NOT BE just happens to include thee, me and all our kin. I don’t for sure about you but as for myself I’m really going to miss having a technological civilization to prop me up, put food on my table, keep the lights and water running, and put two nice new cars in everyone’s double-garage.

Having inadequate silver to maintain materially vital technological maintenance and improvement is like having the pressure dial on your oxygen tank read empty. When it hits a low enough value of “nearly zero” then the whole damn contraption just STOPS like a Grandfather’s Clock, never to run again.

There is no way to fake silver. Either you got it or you don’t, and if you don’t then you are OUT of the game, technologically speaking. And since practically everything runs on technology then being out of the technology game is pretty much the same thing as being out of everything.

There is a world wide common misconception about the power of the American Empire. Pretty much everyone thinks that the US is still the biggest and most powerful geopolitical identity in the world BUT THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. .

The truth is the opposite of the belief that the United States is still anywhere even nearly as powerful as everybody thinks it is. In fact, it might very nearly be the WEAKEST geopolitical entity on the world stage.

That’s because it is SHRINKING on a daily basis, faster and faster, and there is simply no way to grab hold of any part of it and use it for anything that will have future value to anyone but a psychopath is very nearly impossible.

Yes, one can take control of it and use it to make a stack of money for oneself and a few close friends, but in the end that money and those friends will be of absolutely no use to anyone because no one will want to have that money or the friends, either one or both.

Talk about a bad investment! It is a falling knife. If you try to control it in order to turn it to good purposes then you are going get badly cut by that falling knife.

So, no, the United States is not the biggest and strongest. That’s a misconception. It’s the smallest and weakest because no one is willing to invest anything of value in it in a foreseeably fruitless attempt to fix it.

It is fallen prey and now it will be eaten.

Silver gold ratio from 110 to 64. Sooo, if you got the silver, you did much better, despite that it seems gold is moving faster. But bigger numbers = lower percentages.

    A silver dime is now worth $5. So that’s 10x inflation, 20x inflation recently about 2010, now > 50x inflation. 1960-2025

Gas is still worth a silver dime, or actually silver is quite a bit ahead right now. Let’s say Silver was .09 dollar and gas was .30c in 1960. 2.5-3 silver dimes. Of course gas was $1.25 in 1980 when silver was $50. It’s all lying by statistics. I expect it will stay high bc of LIFETIMES of shortage. Like this was chronic shorted, all mines shut in 1995. It would also say gas is irrationally cheap right now, which is probably true, it’s an AWFUL lot of work.

Interesting new world, MacGregor interview, somebody said they’ve been hearing AI. Huh? I guess I wouldn’t know, would I? But MacGregor filled half his interview with the “It’s not this, it’s that” format and “what it comes down to is” intro clauses, and it set me off. That’s not only AI, that’s not so much like his other work. People have very specific thinking styles, because it accumulates your whole life. Then there was a moment where the sentence should have ended, but he just continued it as if the AI saw the line, lacking a period, so kept talking.

This is nowhere definitive, but after someone said they suspected such a thing and I immediately see one too, boys, go out there with a caution. Suppose it is. WHY? Why on heck? It’s waaaay easier to just do the interview than AI it. It’s way easier to be Pee-Wee Herman and just use a Video Filter. If anyone catches you you’ll be off the circuit, so not worth the risk even as it’s not worth the work. And for what? You got arrested and are in custody? And? How would you do it from interrogation room, why would someone ELSE post it for you, with the same essential talking points? I mean, not like suddenly pro-Israel or Pro-Trump or Putin, or whoever you think would be responsible. This. Is very odd. Let me know if you see another.

This is the internet: we very shortly might see nothing BUT fake. Maybe that’s the point. Solzhenitsyn, the point isn’t to hide the lie, they WANT you to see it; the point is to make you ACCEPT the lie, even knowing it’s false. So with AI, discrediting the whole universe, trust nothing, and everything is broken, everyone is killed.

“Russia and China will react to the evil United States”

The U.S. is reacting to the United States. If you hadn’t noticed we’ve been running a 25 year civil war to unseat the Neocons and their fascist “Patriot Act” coming out party, and we’re winning pretty nicely, thanks. We’re at this moment rolling up the Empire and bringing it home, starving out the Globalists. But all America and all West of all actors over all time are the same person, so we don’t notice that.

“Helmer: NATO and Russia, one Miscalculation Away” Yes, but only since 1994 or 2014. You might have noticed. Nothing new. Pepe was ecstatic, creaming himself because Oreshniks can blow up NATO bases. Pepe? ICBMs can blow them up too, always could, since 1954. Before that they’d get on a horse, ride over and stab you, nothing’s changed. The existence of missiles is not new, no strategy has moved, nothing is won. That being the case, would you like to take a deep breath, backtrack, and explain your line of thinking? We have ICBMs too, by the way. They’re not used for the same reason as yours OR the Oreshnik. If you Oreshnik Rammstein and Scotland, we’ll nuke you. We won’t say “Oh well it’s not ‘nuclear’ I guess we’ll just have to get blown up then.”

Pepe ALSO elated and super happy to stop the war by shifting motte and bailey every ten seconds, first that it’s “Europe” who’s at fault, then the U.S. then Ukraine, then Venezuela, then Trump, then not-Trump, then Lindsay Graham. Jesus Christ, could you focus a little? These things are NOT THE SAME. Europe is a CONTINENT, Lindsay Graham is a MAN, one who everyone worldwide hates, even his own district and whose words mean nothing but derision to all living creatures. But he says whatever Graham says is what Trump is and means, although they are enemies constantly.

…Anyway. So Pepe LOVES to bring up Graham and is totally going to settle down this war thing with the belligerent Yanks and warhawks like Graham by saying “Ha ha! You totally LOSE! Good Day Sir!!! I will taunt the a sec-ond timeeee. Uhhh…call me goofy, but that is NOT actually a good way to advocate for peace and in fact is basically doing the legwork for MI6 and the Globalists, you fecking idiot? The only POSSIBLE way for the U.S., who was barely involved and has now immediately doing everything but jailing people to end the Ukraine war, could POSSIBLY get in a situation where the idiot U.S. fights Europe’s war for them, …Is exactly this line and this condition. That Pepe brings up to grind on them.

Fool. Graham brings it up and NO ONE LIKES GRAHAM. No one in America agrees with him, no one here wants war. But IF you make it a point of honor, suh, that is the ONLY possible condition where we will nuke the entire city Pepe is sitting in, like we nuked Nagasaki. WHYYY would you help that? You’ve never met humans before? That’s not even an American thing: that’s a “Entire world” and all nations in it have honor and clannishness thing.

But he can’t resist, because it’s his personal emotional satisfaction to try to kill us all, the world be damned. Thank God there are some adults out there. Some of whom can think straight, unlike him.

Okay AFTER carrying 1,000 tons of water for MI6 Globalists, what does he say? “The U.S. has no options”. They LOSE, ha ha.

Wow, so glad to know we are the first military in the history of the world to have “no options.” Makes me wonder why we spent all that money on it. First time in history 400k men, with 2 million available in an instant is “no options”. 13,000 aircraft means we’re able to do nothing at all, actually. 5,000 tanks and 400k vehicles can’t move or shoot anything. Our 11 Aircraft Carriers and 70 submarines can’t shoot anything, and are made of feathers and glue. Our 5,000 nuclear warheads have no purpose whatsoever, but are really the same as sticks and stones.

Lao Tzu himself, should he head our army, has “No Options” Pepe says, and the U.S. can only lose. Yes, yes! First time in the history of the universe, there are NO options. No choices. God is dead and we’re in a fatal, clockwork world where nothing ever matters anymore.

Jesus Christ, my sir, there is hyperbole, then there is stark, raving madness. Pull this man’s press and speaking card right away! Yup 5,000 nukes dropped on Caracas will make no change in the state of things on the planet now. Venezuela, a nation smaller than U.S. states, with a population smaller than some cities, can only defeat and occupy us now.

Have I made my point? Here’s the sad part: it’s NOT that I don’t agree with everyone mostly, that the U.S. sucks, has been evil a long time, and is going to lose in Ukraine, has left Empire, is essentially in a Civil War already, and won’t invade Ven because they can’t. I do daily, have for 4 to 20 years in a row, and am VERY vocal about it. Daily.

It’s this: it’s this stuff right here. If the U.S. doesn’t “Win” (which no one will define; we keep ‘Winning’ by ‘losing’ since 1949) then the U.S. can only ultra-sooper-Uber lose. Forever! The biggest most amazing losing in the history of losers, and all the people, holding hands, singing, singing over the inevitable bonfire! Ha ha sir! I have my happy Feelz at last!

The Opposite of a Wrong is ALSO a wrong. Being accurate is a lot more difficult. And also a lot more boring. No one gets their ultimate internal, emotional Fee-fees off, because “Reality” doesn’t exist merely to cream you that way. Instead, it will be more like the markets: it will screw EVERYONE, even the winners. Everyone will be wrong, and when they least expect it, the whole herd is on only one side, “The Right side of History”.

This is Intel 101, MI6 handbook. If you can’t Pushme, PullU. Judo. If you have them at extension here, “The U.S. is sooper Awesome and always has been!!!!!!! (A thing which no American has said) and you can’t start a nuclear war that kills 7 Billion people, then call Pepe on the phone, pay him $5 bucks for a handjpob, and have him say the OPPOSITE. Maybe THAT will get the world war and 7 Billion people killed as we “Make S—t Up” about the U.S. being “Backed in a corner” “Losing” and “Has no options”, of which we have THOUSANDS, and thousands more than Europe, hundreds more than China.

But the Opposite of a lie is a Lie. The truth is more complicated and more valuable. It’s entirely worthless to see “our side” (whatever that was) just fall into never speaking the truth at any minute if they can help it and make the U.S. look bad. AT the time when the U.S. is pretty kicked and down, too, thanks, idiots, big help.

Be accurate. We have THOUSANDS of advantages to leverage and we’re starting on some of them, and it’s difficult and it sucks. But we can blow up every other nation on earth without lifting a finger, and invade anyone on earth with like 5 million men who grew up shooting guns all day – and bring our own, and our own body armor and NVG – and maybe you’d like to respect that a little? We’re the largest oil producer, greatest innovator, and have astonishing manufacturing capacity even in our low state?

Everything here is broken ON PURPOSE, and that makes it amazingly easy to fix. We have no problems but the ones traitors made for us, which changes the battle a little. 1) Erase the active saboteurs 2) The whole nation fixes itself in mere months. Thanks.

Judge AND Johnson, both of who’ve been wrong almost constantly? Why? Wouldn’t I want to listen to someone who knows what they’re talking about, as proven by subsequent events? Here’s one for you: Post the video of the last time they were correct about anything, and I’ll watch that instead.

Silver: Yes and no. The U.S. is the major producer of silver, but we closed all our mines. We probably have more silver than Mexico and Peru combined. So it would seem we planned to go BACK on a silver standard. How? The GOLD standard helps Morgan and Rockefeller, remember? “Ye Olde Cross of Gold” on the working man n’ stuff? And it did. But if there is silver, the Roths would just buy that too and put it in the basement. So we engineered a SHORTAGE of silver — real, actual — and took a lot longer than expected. But if silver is in shortage 1) It becomes a monetary metal again 2) Is the only asset you can re-value that won’t keep the Rockefellers rich. If you revalue gold to $20k, it only HELPS them: THEY own the gold. Duh. It’s the Matrix, Zion falls for the 6th time, in a planned, stage reset, leaving the same robots in charge.

Revaluing Silver helps the WORKING man, since you have to WORK to get it out. And such, etc, it’s complicated. But this is last plan, the detonator to free the U.S. from global control we got under. If silver cracks — and that seems done, esp with other events right now — the world monetary system resets, INCLUDING the Roths, who have nowhere to hide. Not London, certainly, and Dubai and Shanghai kicked them out. Gold does help them, but no one can stop that. However, what if Silver is 16:1 in the opposite direction, more than gold? There’s infinity gold on earth: it’s useless. There’s zero above ground silver. So why is it NOT worth more? You might not be able to maintain that, but you see my point. Then the U.S. is 16:1 richer than the Roths for a change.

Anyway, silver will level because if it reaches $1000/oz I’ll break my arm reaching for a shovel, so will everyone else, and there is a LOT of it. Again: every mine’s been shut for lifetimes. Par with gold would be nice though.

Gold, the actual physical metal itself, is the ultimate cheat sheet for figuring out who really is calling the shots and running the show. Just follow the gold. The guys who have enforceable control over the physical possession of the metal are the guys who are in control of the system. Because the system runs on gold. The system ALSO runs on things OTHER than gold, too, but those other things are mostly kept carefully secret and so are a LOT harder to see.

Gold, on the other hand, is MUCH easier to see, and takes you to the same destination. Like I said. It’s like a cheat sheet for the geopolitics exam.

Gold, priced in the fiat currency of your choice, is headed for the stratosphere. What does that tell you about fiat (including crypto) ?

    Got gold?

    Too bad.

So if YOU haven’t got it then who does? Damn good question. Who DOES have all the gold? I hope you’re ready to re-meet all of the usual suspects, because that’s who’s got the gold. I’m pretty sure that there’s some sort of logical connection between those two facts.

    Economic Grocery Bills https://drjohnsblog.substack.com/p/economic-grocery-bills

Surplus Energy Economics, The class of ‘26 – ON THE EDGE OF CHANGE I’d like to point out that the coming twelve months will mark the 250th anniversary of the most important year in modern history.
In 1776, Adam Smith published The Wealth of Nations, the foundation treatise of classical economics, whilst the United States Declaration of Independence was promulgated. Most important of all, James Watt completed the first truly efficient steam engine.
People had long used coal and other fuels to warm their homes and prepare their food. What was transformative about Watt’s discovery was that it enabled us, for the first time, to convert heat into work. The entirety of the industrial age flowed from that breakthrough…
..Our fundamental problem today is resource depletion, which is driving a wedge between preference and possibility. We want growth to continue; it can’t. We seem to favour wide inequalities between social groups; this is becoming unsustainable
This problem is most acute with fossil fuel energy. In a sense, we’ve been here before, when the economics of coal deteriorated during the inter-war years. Fortunately, oil and natural gas were available to take over from coal, and their superior characteristics gave the global economy its biggest burst of growth in the quarter-century after 1945.
Our predicament now is that we have failed to find a successor to hydrocarbon energy. Recent reports from Rystad Energy and the IEA have pointed towards a looming decline in the supply of oil and natural gas....
..Energy is not like any other commodity. A shortage of coffee and a rise in its price do not make us poorer, but energy shortages and higher costs do make us less prosperous.
The economy works by using energy to convert other raw materials into products, artefacts and infrastructures, so a decrease in the amount of ex-cost energy available to the system makes the economy smaller…
..The critical measure of the condition of energy supply is the Energy Cost of Energy, a calibration of how much energy, being consumed in the energy access process, is unavailable for any other economic purpose. Driven by the depletion of fossil fuel resources, global trend ECoEs have risen relentlessly, from 2.0% in 1980 to more than 11% today…

..Most of the energy available to the economy – perhaps 95% in complex advanced economies, and 90% or so in emerging market countries – is required simply for system maintenance. It has to be devoted, not just to repairing and replacing infrastructures and productive capabilities, but also to the support of the population.
The West has long since passed the ECoE threshold beyond which growth becomes impossible, and the same is now happening in less complex, more ECoE-resilient EM economies.
Renewables cannot take ECoEs back down to growth-capable levels. In addition to their intermittencies and lesser portability, these renewables depend, for their expansion, maintenance and replacement, on legacy energy from fossil fuels.
This is a material explanation for the financial fact that renewables are reliant on subsidies... Seen in material rather than monetary terms, the whole of the economy is ‘subsidised’ by the energy industries. This subsidy is gradually being withdrawn by rising ECoEs…
..“Secular stagnation” – in essence, a trend inflexion – set in. The real cause, as we know, was rising ECoEs, for which no ‘fix’ exists.
But the response favoured at the time was “credit adventurism”. We can’t reinvigorate a flagging material economy with monetary tools, any more than we can cure an ailing house-plant with a spanner…
..The forces of resource degradation and rising ECoEs cannot be halted by political diktat.
The use of super-rapid liquidity expansion to sustain a semblance of normality will result in a massive financial crisis, part of which will be a wholesale destruction of super-inflated paper asset wealth. The financial recklessness required to maintain a simulacrum of ‘business as usual’ has already put wide swathes of the discretionary economy on life support.
This might not be the most uplifting way to end 2025, but knowledge is always to be preferred over even the most palatable versions of ignorance. https://surplusenergyeconomics.wordpress.com/2025/12/21/316-the-class-of-26/

Echoing the Trump administration’s National Security Strategy, Rubio pulled no punches in highlighting how Europe’s slide toward “civilizational erasure” endangers alliances built on liberty and self-governance…

That’s what they talk about as the reason for this alliance,” Rubio said. “Well, if you erase your shared history, your shared culture, your shared ideology, your shared priorities, your shared principles, then what – then you just have a straight-up defense agreement. It hardly needs pointing out, however, that Putin agreed not to speak to “Europe” but rather to Macron, and he did so after the European summit put paid to Friedrich Merz’s attempt to unite his EU partners around a stronger stance vis-à-vis Moscow.

Sasha Latypova, on Substack bending the knee: Please read and share this message from a digitally caged Australian author.
This post is an unscheduled urgent message from a former Substack author “Excess Deaths AU (EDAU)” based in Australia. We were subscribing to each other’s publications and I enjoyed their well researched, thoughtfully written articles. Due to the Asutralian draconian censorship laws and technology that they are installing to control the population via digital/biometric real time tracking, this publication is now shut down…
..Many Australian authors are locked out of Substack due to Australian ‘age assurance’ laws. Of course, we know this is not about assuring age to ‘protect the children,’ but is a Maoist-like identification and purge of the creators and dissidents who flocked to Substack during covid Emergency powers. Our content is still up for children to see – this is about demoralising and silencing those who create dissent and critique of governments.

West Bank: Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian schoolboy in Jenin at point-blank range
Israeli forces shot and killed two young Palestinians in the West Bank on Saturday, shooting one a mere metres away from him.
One of those killed was 16-year-old Rayyan Mohammad Abu Mualla, who was gunned down at close range by an Israeli soldier in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, as he was heading home from school.
Footage circulated by Al Jazeera and other outlets shows two Israeli soldiers lying in wait as the teenager walks down a narrow alley. One soldier crouches while the other stands behind him, both watching Abu Mualla approach.
Seconds later, the soldier opens fire from just a few metres away, shooting the child four or five times. Abu Mualla is then left bleeding on the ground as Israeli forces block Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances from reaching him. He later died from his wounds.
The Israeli army claimed the teenager had thrown a brick, a justification it has repeatedly used over decades to excuse the killing of Palestinians, including children. https://www.newarab.com/news/jenin-israeli-army-kills-palestinian-schoolboy-point-blank

     Escape Key, Project Sunrise
In September, I analysed Trump’s 20-point plan for Gaza and identified the architecture: conditional finance, enforced through external oversight, operationalised via six technical rails. The template employed in Ukraine was visible, but the benchmarks were pending. The blended finance mechanism was implicit — referenced through ‘public-private partnerships’ requirements, but not yet codified.
Three months later, Project Sunrise has made explicit what was then inference. The Wall Street Journal’s reporting matters precisely because it contains the numbers, the sequencing, and the monetisation clauses that moves this analysis from pattern-recognition to documentation.
The 32-page PowerPoint presentation — developed by Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and senior White House aide Josh Gruenbaum over 45 days — is an exercise in raising capital; it’s not a policy document. It confirms the financial architecture (anchor commitments, blended finance, monetisation schedule) but doesn’t develop the operational rails discussed in September — digital ID requirements, accreditation, data streams, audit protocols, leading to financial actuation. Yet, those remain visible in active UN tenders and existing biometric systems, awaiting formalisation once capital is committed. What this presentation does confirm is the destination: the same taxpayer-funded cash bonanza the EU has structured for Ukraine, to be capitalised on by the private ‘partners’. The total cost: $112.1 billion over ten years. https://escapekey.substack.com/p/project-sunrise

Acting CISA director failed a polygraph. Career staff are now under investigation.
At least six career staffers at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency were suspended with pay this summer after organizing a polygraph test that the agency’s acting director, Madhu Gottumukkala, failed…
..The incident this July and the subsequent fallout — which has not been reported before — have angered career staff, alarmed fellow Trump administration appointees and raised questions about Gottumukkala’s leadership of the nearly $3 billion cyber defense agency.
“Instead of taking ownership and saying, ‘Hey, I screwed up,’ he gets other people blamed and potentially ruins their careers,” said a current official, who described Gottumukkala’s tenure at CISA so far as “a nightmare” for the agency...
..Gottumukkala failed the polygraph test in the last week of July, according to five current officials and one former official.
The test was scheduled that month to determine his eligibility to review one of the most sensitive intelligence programs shared with CISA by another spy agency, three current officials and one former official said.
That material was designated as a controlled access program — meaning its circulation was supposed to be tightly restricted to those assigned as need-to-know — and the agency that furnished it to CISA further required that any need-to-know employees first pass what is known as a counter-intelligence polygraph, according to four current officials and one former official.
As a civilian agency, the vast majority of CISA employees do not need to view these types of highly sensitive materials, nor do they have to pass such an exam to be hired. But polygraphs are widely used across the Pentagon and U.S. spy community. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/21/cisa-acting-director-madhu-gottumukkala-polygraph-investigation-00701996?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=dlvr.it

The immigration enforcement agencies are not simply choosing the biggest, most blue cities to raid just because they hate them...
..These are the tools they intend to use soon during elections.
I expect this administration, Secretary Noem and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott to order federal immigration agents to accost voters as they stand in line on voting day. Those of color, specifically Latinos, will have their citizenship questioned. And judging by how the agencies are grabbing people without even conducting on-site citizenship interviews, then taking them into ICE custody for a day, or two or three before letting them go, I expect this will be used to prevent citizens from voting. I wouldn’t even be surprised if Border Patrol set up checkpoints in areas of high Latino populations.

Shares of warship builder Huntington Ingalls Industries rose in premarket trading and are on track for the largest annual gain in 12 years, driven by news of President Trump’s continued push to rebuild the U.S. Navy.
Trump-class battleships. On December 22, 2025 President Trump announced that he had approved a plan for the U.S. Navy to build two new “Trump-class” battleships, with the goal of acquiring 20-25 of these ships in the coming years. In his address, the President noted these 30,000-40,000 ton ships will carry a large quantity of missiles, including hypersonic missiles, and will also be outfitted with electromagnetic rail guns and directed energy lasers. Trump-class battleships will also carry nuclear-armed sea launched cruise missiles (currently under development) adding an additional element of nuclear deterrence to the Navy. Trump-class destroyers appear to be designed as the center of enhanced command and control networks at sea, as the Navy looks to field more autonomous assets and traditional vessels in the coming years. Trump unveils ‘Trump-class’ battleships for US Navy’s ‘Golden Fleet’
The US president says the new vessels will ensure naval dominance and include AI and laser technology.
“We had big battleships. These are bigger. They’ll be 100 times the force, the power [of the old ships], and there’s never been anything like these ships,” Trump said.
He added that the vessels would be “cutting edge” and equipped with the latest technology, including artificial intelligence and directed energy lasers. They will also be armed with hypersonic missiles, nuclear cruise missiles and rail guns – all technologies that are in various stages of development by the US Navy.
“Each one of these will be the largest battleship in the history of our country, the largest battleship in the history of the world,” he said…
..Both Trump and Navy Secretary John Phelan spoke about the new Trump-class warship as a spiritual successor to the battleships of the 20th century, but historically, that term has referred to a very specific type of ship – a large, heavily armoured vessel armed with massive guns designed to bombard other ships or targets ashore...
..According to a newly created website for the Golden Fleet, this new “guided missile battleship” is set to be roughly the same size as Iowa-class battleships, but only weigh about half as much, approximately 35,000 tonnes, and have far smaller crews – between 650 and 850 sailors. Its primary weapons will also be missiles, not large naval guns...
..He said he will meet with major defence firms next week to address delays and overruns, ‌and to examine whether executive compensation, stock buybacks and dividends are contributing to missed production targets. “We don’t want to have executives making $50m a year, issuing big dividends to everybody, and also doing buybacks”, while production of F-35s and other jets languishes, Trump said. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/12/23/trump-unveils-trump-class-battleships-for-naval-golden-fleet

Escape Key says the system will decide how you are doing for you: The Meaning of ‘Well-Being’
In 1948, the World Health Organization offered a new definition of health: ‘a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’.
The addition of ‘mental’ might have seemed natural enough, since minds can suffer just as bodies can. But ‘social well-being’ introduced something different. Your health now depended on your relationships, your standing, your integration into community. And the word ‘complete’ set a standard that no living person can meet on their own.
This works to relocate authority: if health includes social factors, it cannot be assessed from the inside alone. Institutions gain a rationale to evaluate your social well-being, measure it against a standard, determine whether it is adequate. Health began its migration from something you possess to something assessed externally. https://escapekey.substack.com/p/the-meaning-of-well-being

ICE has secured a deal with surveillance firm BI Incorporated as part of a new program, first reported in October by The Intercept, to use private bounty hunters to determine the locations of immigrants in exchange for monetary bonuses.

Just for the record, “Geo Group” is an outfit originally called “Wackenhut”, after its founder George Wackenhut back in 1954. (Yeah, they go WAY back) and is basically a mercenary army spun off from the FBI to receive fabulous sums of money for doing the dirty work that FBI and CIA did not want to be seen doing. It is 110% a United States Empire Intelligence Services creature …. with all of the amazingly incredibly brazen corruption which that bonding suggests. They probably aren’t as big as Blackwater, but every bit as dirty, and maybe dirtier. Wackenhut is the outfit that physically transported Biological Warfare equipment and substances to Saddam Hussein to set him up to take the fall as a purveyor of so-called “Weapons of Mass Destruction.” They changed their name to “GEO Group” when the scandals surrounding Wackenhut got too big and noisy.

I need me a Trump-class battle ship the next time I have a bath at the cottage.

@DBS: Ah, the infamous Wackenhut, operator of so any for-profit prisons in Texas… (It is probably German for “protective headgear”.)

Yup. Them’s the guys. I ran headlong straight into those Geo Group Bozo’s when I lived in Clayton New Mexico back around 2007 or so. I got to talk face to face with the boss of the outfit at the time, in a big public meeting. My reputation preceded me, apparently, because at the meeting they put armed security right next to me, the rent-a-Sheriff himself who personally told me that if I caused any disruption or asked undesirable questions that I would be arrested. In fact, that was the first thing he said to me when I walked into the room.

Mr. GEO Group at the town hall meeting (I forget the name of the guy who fronted for them at the time) was a straight up dandy-mafioso type. For the country to be run by low-life jerks like that is just humiliating.
