Nothing was ‘blown up’. What can be seen in the picture is not the result of an explosion. For comparison you might want to watch this attempt (vid) of using C-4 explosive to cut an I-beam. It is a VERY violent process. But the track ballast under the broken rail as well as the sleepers seem undisturbed and undamaged. The incident was most likely a brittle crack caused by fatigue. The rail was probably not firmly fixed on the sleepers and bent when trains were running over it. When that happens one time too many rails will break.
The alleged ‘hybrid attacks’ by Russia are over-hyped normal incidents with little if any relation to Russia. I always like to watch a great artist at work. Man, that is a world class metaphoric piece of word play. I’m envious.
I just came up with this profoundly true observation about how to be happy as humans who find ourselves at this very dangerous time and place in history.
I don’t know if it was me who thought it up or if the essay is another one of those thoughts that just come sailing in from blue, from somewhere else. It seems too good to have come from me because for all of my false and real humility there’s just no I could be THAT smart, so my best guess is that it was “channeled” telepathically (which would have seriously important implications its own). It’s getting harder and harder for me to tell the difference these days. In either case, at least I could see how importantly true it is, and so I hand it on to you.
Just imagine, for the sake of thought experiment and greater understanding, what would the experience be like for someone who was self-compelled to spend all of their time and effort doing the thing that they enjoyed doing more than any other thing in the world?
Well, that’s what helping others (and treating them the way that you would want to be treated if you were in similar circumstances) will do to you. The more someone does that then the more they find themselves feeling that way. How does a Saintly person get to be the way they are now? Well, that’s how. They very voluntarily self compel to do the thing that they love the most over all other things in the world.
In a sensible kind of cosmic symmetry, ironically, it can also be observed that the reverse is also true. Anyone really wanting to be be full time miserable will find that it is very easily done. Simply go around all the time being bad towards other people just because those people probably deserve it.
I definitely do NOT recommend or advise taking that miserable route unless you seriously desire to be the most miserable as it is possible to be.
The best route to take is the route towards doing what all of the other happiest and most fulfilled people are doing. They’re spending all of their time and effort doing the thing they love more than anything else in the world. Helping people and being kind to them.
