The problem is, with most things, “there’s a process.” And the process is going to court with THIS guy, not a mass-order. The court removes or suspends HIS rights. So it’s not impossible, it just depends how it’s done.
Naturally NO ONE CARES about how it’s done, the laws, the process, or the details, they’re just ignorantly clocking political points. Great. And do I think they’ll try to infringe and abuse this? Totally. So? Tell them no. This is nothing compared to what they’ve been TRYING to do for 50 years. Or actually doing, see: Constitutional Carry States.

Worse than bullshit, actually, because it lays the blame at the wrong feet and will thus never correct the person responsible for the series of errors that ended in crime.
The appropriate emotion that should be felt about other people’s “sins” is shame, because at the beginning of the sordid sequence of failures that eventually resulted in the crime was selfish abandonment of a fellow human, and it was just all downhill after that.
Is the criminal responsible for their own malfeasance? Absolutely, but what gives you the notion that you’re separate from them in the first place. If you were well and truly separate, then they wouldn’t be able to lay a glove on you in the first place. No harm no foul.

Thanks for the link, but when you read the abstract, they say this, which is not so anti-vax:
Using National Health System official data, the entire population of the Pescara province, Italy was followed from June 2021 (six months after the first vaccination) to December 2023. Cox models were adjusted for age, gender, previous SARS-CoV-2 infection, and selected comorbidities. Of the 296,015 residents aged ≥11 years, 16.6% were unvaccinated, 83.3% received ≥1 dose, and 62.2% ≥3 doses. Compared with the unvaccinated, those receiving ≥1 dose showed a significantly lower likelihood of all-cause death, and a slightly higher likelihood of hospitalization for cancer (HR: 1.23; 95% CI: 1.11-1.37). The latter association was significant only among the subjects with no previous SARS-CoV-2 infection, and was reversed when the minimum time between vaccination and cancer hospitalization was set to 12 months. The subjects who received SARS-CoV-2 vaccination showed a substantial reduction in all-cause mortality, and a risk of cancer hospitalization that varied by infection status, cancer site, and the minimum lag-time after vaccination.
I find this unbelievable. Either the “National Health System official data” is corrupt or the study is corrupt. I suspect the data is corrupt. If the unvaccinated are dying at a higher rate than the vaccinated then we would have seen this in our communities, and we haven’t. Somewhere in this study they are manipulating the statistics to show that the vaccine was not so bad; you gained extra chance of life even though you also gained a higher probability of dying of cancer. Do you really care what you die of or how long you live?
I call bullshit on this study. Yet another big pharma machine PR publication. Remember, the scientists are still being paid by big pharma, nothing there has changed, so do not expect big revelations.

One of the oldest metaphors of all time (and a good one!) is that old saw about the world being like an onion, with layers upon layers going all the way down to a core (one must assume) that no one bothers to define very well.
Many explanations and “reasons for things” that make perfect sense within their own layer don’t make any sense at all when seen from the perspective of a more fundamental layer and fall apart as “explanations”. Sometimes it’s as bad as the logic that’s “obvious” at a superficial level turns out to be the exact opposite when seen with the clarity of a deeper truth.
Crime and punishment, for example. At the material justice level the justice of an eye for an eye makes moral sense to a lot of people. and is at least equitable (albeit ruthlessly brutal). But at the deeper level of logic and reasoning level it’s just as obvious that it would make the whole world blind. At a deeper level still it can be seen that a “justice” system based on the concept of eye-for-an-eye is nothing but monopolized vengeance which actually CAUSES crime rather than cures it and is just about the stupidest thing that anyone wanting to build a stable society could possibly do.
