On an only partially other subject, let’s do a vivisection of what passes for NORMAL in the current Universe of State and Federal law enforcement. Remember, the man being interviewed is a duly elected Sheriff, and career Federal Law Enforcement Officer of high standing in the DEA. He calmly mentions premeditated cold blooded murder of a Federal Agent by a CIA Federal agent, for which there was no punishment and none intended for the future.
He reveals that as a sworn officer of the law he is aware of how another Federal Officer (from CIA) committed premeditated torture/murder of one of the Sheriff’s own fellow DEA agents……. and expresses no intent to do fuck-all about it.

When I see Sheriff Hathaway, and the good Judge Napolitano himself, I see them very clearly as exemplary, virtual icons of the most dangerously destructive group of people that the world has ever known.
I call them destructive because the amount of evil destruction that has been carried out by the people who consider themselves to be law abiding and honest agents of the Government of the people is simply immeasurably enormous. They include BOTH sides of every war that was ever fought, so yes, the destruction has been immeasurably enormous.
I call them dangerous because they are unaware that they THEMSELVES constitute 100% of every government everywhere. Many of them, probably most of them actually believe themselves to be paragons of virtue and goodness. As they nuke Hiroshima, napalm Vietnam, or shoot another Gazan child in the head. No one involuntarily tries to impose their own will over the will of another without permission. The concept doing so is absurd.
The world is in awful condition, and the “public servants” who made and keep it that way are getting paid one Hell of a lot of money, obedience and respect for doing a piss poor job.
If Sheriff Hathaway was worth the powder and ball it would cost to blow him up then those hundreds or perhaps thousands, of felonious crimes that he’s aware of would have been successfully prosecuted and justice done. And if not then why the Hell isn’t the good judge and Sheriff still working on it at risk to their personal fortune and safety? That’s what they swore they were signing on for, so why didn’t they DO it?
I compare them to a guy telling his step-son, that he helped murder the kids father and took his place because the salary and perks were better in the new high-pay high prestige job.
Please understand that I do know that I’m being harshly judgmental in this call. But sometimes the stakes are so high that you just have to state the plain truth even if it hurts people’s feelings. If the simple truth is too “harsh” then I don’t really know what else to say about that except that: It is what it is.

Trump, Kiril Dmitriev and Steve Witkoff met in October in Miami to secretly work out a 28 point peace plan, which respects longstanding russian demands, including that the US recognize Donbass and Crimea as parts of Russia, and that Ukrainian military move out of those territoties entirely. The Ukrainian military would shrink to 400,000 soldiers and give up all weapons that could reach Moscow and St Petersburg. Russian would ba recognized as one of the official languages of Ukraine.
Not overtly leaked so far are the details of de-nazification, regime-change. The Ukrainian Rada has suspended its session for the moment for the corruption scandal of Zelensky’s government. There are reports that there will soon be an interim-government and elections announced.
American Generals arrived yesterday in Ukraine to consult with and brief their Ukrainian counterparts. Today they and Steve Witkoff will supposedly present the 28 point plan to Zelensky and the Ukrainian military/security hierarchy.

Reports of a US and Russian-brokered peace plan for Ukraine suggest huge disadvantage for Kyiv, experts say.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is due to meet US army officials in Kyiv on Thursday...
..Reuters later quoted two unnamed sources familiar with the matter, reporting that the US has “signalled” to Zelenskyy that Ukraine must accept the US plan, which involves Ukraine ceding territory and weapons. Other reports have suggested that this would be in exchange for US security guarantees.
The Financial Times quoted an unnamed official saying the proposal is “heavily tilted towards Russia” and “very comfortable for [Russian President Vladimir] Putin”. It does not say where the official is from. The Financial Times also reported claims that only US and Russian officials had participated in drafting the plan.
The newspaper added that the US had informed Ukraine of the plan via Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, this week.
Citing an unnamed US official with “direct knowledge”, Axios reported that the plan would give Russia parts of eastern Ukraine that Moscow does not currently control, in exchange for a US security guarantee for Ukraine and Europe against future Russian aggression...
..According to Axios, the plan spans 28 specific but unknown points. Overall, it would give Russia full control over both Crimea in the south – which Russia seized from Ukraine in 2014 but which remains in dispute – and the Donbas region, which is made up of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine…
Ukraine would be required to withdraw its troops from the Donbas altogether, and it would become a demilitarised zone, with Russia also unable to place its troops there.
Axios quoted an unnamed Ukrainian official saying the plan also imposes longer-term limits on the size of Ukraine’s military and its possession of long‑range missiles.
In addition to Crimea and the majority of the Donbas region, Russia also now controls 75 percent of Zaporizhia and Kherson in southern Ukraine, bordering the Black Sea. According to the plan, the existing battle lines in these two areas would be frozen in place. The return of any of this territory to Ukraine would be subject to later negotiations...

This morning, Zelensky and Vice President JD Vance discussed the Trump administration’s new Ukraine peace plan, marking the highest-level talk on 28-point plan so far, and soon on the heels of this Zelensky issued the following video statement which states in part…

The statement is tinged with defiant rhetoric aimed at Washington, especially given he talks of the “risk” of losing a key partner – in reference to the US, which has already sunk tens of billions into the war effort. But the Ukrainian leader also seems somewhat defeated, admitting the “most difficult” moment in the history of the war.
President Trump has said that next Thursday, Thanksgiving Day in the US, is a suitable deadline for the sides to sign the peace agreement. As for the immense pressure from the US Zelensky is talking about, Reuters reports:
The United States has threatened to cut intelligence sharing and weapons supplies for Ukraine to press it into agreeing to the framework of a U.S.-brokered peace deal, two people familiar with the matter said.
“The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Kyiv was under greater pressure from Washington than during any previous peace discussions, and that the U.S. wanted Ukraine to sign a framework of the deal by next Thursday,” the report adds.
