ParticipantOne of the best explainers of we are ever likely to hear. I don’t always agree with his opinions and biases (though usually I do), but when it comes to explaining HIGHLY complicated things down into words that thee and me can understand, he has no equal that I’m aware of. Tucker Carlson.

ParticipantRight now, in this very geopolitical moment, would be a good time for Russia to make a VERY attractive offer to Europe. Putin should offer to just let by-gones be by-gones and simply restore NORMAL business relations between Russia and Europe, with all of the so-called “security guarantees” that the United States had been pretending to give them (but which Russia would actually give them. War ends, everybody makes money and the fickle United States/”NATO” clown can just go pleasure itself somewhere else.

ParticipantI wonder how many people actually understand that NATO has never been the protective international military alliance of nations meant to act as an undefeatable Umbrella for Europe’s relatively small and vulnerable nations. That was just the sales hype.
The fact is that from the very start NATO was nothing but a clever way for the United States Occupation Forces to conscript and press into service the various nation’s little “militias” into a cohesive fighting force that the United States needed to rule over all of Europe. Why hire your own Imperial American soldiers and arm them properly when you can just use your local colonies to do most of that heavy lifting for you?

ParticipantOur civilization is falling off a cliff.
Yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow is now.
Everyone here, at TAE know it.
Some people want to survive and experience what comes next and disillusion themself that it will be pain free and better than yesterday.
Sorry! We are not in The Matrix.

ParticipantThe reason that Putin doesn’t want to permanently alienate the rabid dog Western Empire too irreversibly (like nuking them or just taking Europe) or the Strait of Hormuz) is that he knows that he’s going to need both Europe AND the Americans to balance the world’s forces against the fast approaching Asian tsunami. Putin doesn’t want Russia to be a colony of China.

“Make A Deal Before It’s Too Late”: Trump Threatens Tehran (Again) As Iran/Oman Draft Protocol To Re-Open Hormuz
by Tyler Durden
Thursday, Apr 02, 2026 – 10:45 AM
Summary
And Bloomberg also confirms: “Iran is drafting a protocol with Oman to monitor traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, state-run IRNA reports, citing Iran Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.”“I must emphasize that the Strait of Hormuz was open and traffic was easy. It is natural that when we face an act of aggression, we face major problems and this is the result of the act of aggression. We are now at war and we cannot expect the pre-war rules to govern war conditions. We are facing two aggressor countries and some other countries that support aggression, so naturally restrictions and prohibitions should be imposed”.
Iran has also said it is readying tolls for passage, which could be something like $2 million per vessel. After earlier headlines suggesting a prolonged war (and thus Hormuz closure), this note of optimism has pushed oil prices down once again:
Tit-For-Tat Escalation of Strikes in Overnight Hours
By many accounts the overnight hours saw one of the largest Iranian missile attacks on Israel, with multiple salvos sent since midnight and many cluster munitions. Several Israelis were wounded, including reports of children and infants. Via Bloomberg:After US President Trump last night pledged more aggressive attacks in coming weeks, Iran’s army chief ramped up threats, saying that “if the enemy attempts a ground operation, not a single person should survive,” as the US ordered thousands of troops to the region.
One particularly alarming escalation is that the Houthis have now joined in on Iran’s ballistic missile attacks, with the Yemeni group said to be coordinating the strike waves with Tehran, and alongside Hezbollah in the north. At least 50 rockets were fired out of southern Lebanon alone on northern Israel and Haifa, resulting in some injuries but no reports of fatalities. Israel has hit back, bombing at least 40 Hezbollah infrastructure targets in Lebanon in the past 24 hours, killing 10 operatives – per regional military reports.

ParticipantWe’ve all heard the old saying that Empire contains the seeds of its own collapse, but I don’t think that old saying says it quite plainly enough. I would say that the very CORE idea behind Empire rising in the first place is the cause, or “seed” under discussion.
The core problem is not structural. It is IDEOLOGICAL. That mental/cognitive/psychological error is the tragically mistaken idea that one should (or even can) CONTROL others. Ultimately, one can NOT control others at the most fundamental level. People SHALL do what they themselves choose to do under the circumstances they find themselves in at any given moment. And that’s just the way it is.
Empire is always a negotiation, never a command.
And when the negotiation breaks down, the empire dissolves.

ParticipantWhen peace negotiators are systematically identified, targeted and killed then the makers of the hit-lists are made more and more visible (as individuals, by name) to other players. In other words, they reveal themselves by their actions and resultantly become, themselves, targets. This inevitably ends in the murderers then being made to be unalive.
Trump and Netanyahu are the current top executive and deputy, but neither of them are chairman or board member of the criminal conspiracy that they front for. THOSE guys are being drawn out of the shadows and identified by the very murders that they order and brother are there a LOT of them with Eastern European Ashkenazi surnames and Khazarian roots.

ParticipantThe Strait of Hormuz is open to shipping
🚢 What Ship Captains Must Do Under the Iran–Oman “Protocol”
Short answer:
Iran has not released a full public rulebook, but based on official statements, ship captains transiting the Strait of Hormuz must register, report, and coordinate their passage with the new Iran–Oman joint maritime monitoring mechanism. This is not optional—it’s a mandatory traffic‑supervision system.
Below is the best available breakdown of what captains are expected to do.✅ 1. Register Transit With the Joint Oman–Iran System
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister stated the protocol is designed to “monitor and supervise” tanker and ship traffic.
This implies captains must:
– Submit voyage details before entering the Strait
– Provide ship identity, cargo, and destination
– Confirm compliance with routing instructions
This mirrors existing Hormuz practices but adds joint Iran–Oman oversight.✅ 2. Follow Assigned Traffic Lanes
The protocol’s purpose is to coordinate safe passage through one of the world’s most congested chokepoints.
Captains must:
– Stay within designated inbound/outbound lanes
– Follow routing instructions issued by Oman’s Maritime Security Center
– Maintain AIS (Automatic Identification System) broadcasting unless ordered otherwise✅ 3. Respond to Communications From Iran or Oman
Ships must:
– Answer hails from Iranian naval/coast guard units
– Answer hails from Omani maritime authorities
– Provide documentation when requested
– Follow instructions for speed, spacing, or course adjustments
This is standard in Hormuz but now formalized under a joint protocol.4. Comply With Security & Safety Requirements
Oman’s maritime regulations (updated 2023–2024) require ships to:
– Maintain ISPS‑compliant security plans
– Conduct risk‑based security checks
– Keep all safety equipment operational
– Allow inspection if ordered by authorities
These rules apply to all ships in Omani waters—including the Strait.✅ 5. Report Any Incident Immediately
Captains must report:
– Mechanical failures
– Navigation hazards
– Security threats
– Suspicious approaches
– Pollution events
Reports go to both Oman and Iran under the new protocol.⚠️ What We Do Not Have Yet
Iran and Oman have not published the full text of the “Oman protocol.”
Only high‑level descriptions exist.
What we do know is that it is:
– Not a blockade
– Not a restriction on shipping
– A monitoring and coordination agreement
– Intended to reduce risk and prevent incidents
This is consistent with Oman’s maritime safety laws and Iran’s stated goals.

Participant🚢 What Ship Operators Must Do (Payment Process)
1. Contact the IRGC‑linked intermediary
Ship operators must first contact a specific intermediary company tied to the IRGC Navy.
This is mandatory before Iran will even consider allowing transit.
They must provide:
– Vessel ownership
– Flag
– Cargo manifest
– Destination
– Crew list
– AIS/transponder details
This is essentially a background check.2. Pass the IRGC security screening
Iran screens for:
– Any ties to the U.S.
– Any ties to Israel
– Suspicious ownership structures
Only after passing this check can a ship proceed.3. Negotiate the toll
Once cleared, Iran opens a negotiation for the escort fee / transit toll.
Starting price:
$1 per barrel of oil
This is the baseline; the final price may vary depending on:
– Cargo type
– Ship size
– Destination
– Political considerations4. Pay in yuan or stablecoins
Iran is not accepting U.S. dollars.
Accepted payment methods:
– Chinese yuan
– Cryptocurrency stablecoins (pegged to hard currency)
This is deliberate — it avoids U.S. financial surveillance and sanctions.5. Receive escort or clearance
After payment:
– Iran assigns a naval escort, or
– Grants unescorted clearance (rare)
Countries that have successfully used this system include:
– China
– Russia
– India
– Pakistan
– Iraq
– Bangladesh🧭 How This Relates to the Iran–Oman Protocol
The protocol (still being drafted) requires:
– Advance permits
– Coordination with both Iran and Oman
But it does not replace the IRGC toll system.
Until the protocol is finalized, the payment system remains the only operational method for ships to pass.⚠️ Legal Status
International maritime law experts say Iran’s toll system violates UNCLOS and is not legally enforceable.
But legality is irrelevant when Iran physically controls the inbound lane.April 2, 2026 at 10:51 pm #237057zerosum

ParticipantDid you know that someone can hack a big name investment place, search for landlines in the accounts, “port” those landlines, use the numbers to access accounts, get emails, spam-bomb them as a distraction, and change the passwords to the accounts in an attempt to steal the funds?
I didn’t. I do now.
Nothing lost except an email account that is getting a hundred “thank-yous” an hour for registering, creating accounts, donating, etc. etc.
Fraud alert worked because my husband checked his cellphone (it’s a holiday season). I don’t have one- he doesn’t use his much.
‘Cause the landline was out. We can’t get calls. It’s been “ported” to some verizon account. Centurylink said so. The account holder confirms.
Spent the day changing passwords and grousing.
Yay, tech.
