So what was the solution? Well, solution of everyone here was “let it”. Let Iran do whatever they want forever. They get nukes that reach Malacca, China, and the United States. Or for other people, let Israel. That’s not stable, that’s just conquering. Start from the end state: A rational, not extortion, non-blackmail, peaceful balance of powers with US NOT THERE. That’s a win. I don’t want to be there, nor does anyone else. But atm, Israel and Iran are WAY TOO POWERFUL (and Turkey, but they’re next). So they need to come down to the range of S.A. and the Gulf Collective. By being flattened and using up all the weapons. They have. All done, bye. The U.S. ALSO lost power. We have no radars, are mostly pushed out of Iraq, thank God. So all three major powers are whacked. We ALREADY have a better balance of power and possible end-state.
The thing you need now is a “normal” Iranian government everyone can work with, that is, China and Russia, (and Saudi Arabia) — who cares about us? That’s already happened, since everyone in the IRGC is dead, and the non-religious non-Ayatollah is a complete gay, nightclubbing, billionaire fraud. They have to pick an Iranian who can unify the four lines of power there: Religion, Civil, Army, etc. He has to be a moderate and unitarian by definition. There’s not enough left of the IRGC to resist the “normals”, the Unitarians there.

I see and read SO much research, speculation and opinions (mine included!) about the REASONS our civilization has fallen off a cliff that it is way too easy to be distracted from the fact that it HAS fallen or been pushed off of the cliff and is now FALLING.

Whether it was accidental or on purpose makes far less difference to final outcomes than does the need to DO SOMETHING to reduce the damage that is already unavoidable and could easily get worse if we don’t do the right things to address the issue.
Those are ultra important conversations that we need to engage in immediately. The old civilization IS falling. That fact can no longer be disputed. In fact, putting a lot of work into disputing that fact is a BIG waste of time and resources. Mitigating the damage is now the only thing worth our time, effort and lives to engage in.

There is also a false premise of the criticizers of that generation that they, if born in that era, would single-handedly prevent the entry to Woodstock or, later, to Club 54 or all other indulgences that generation was gifted with. All thanks to cheep energy and, celebrated, “free market economy” offerings.
