ParticipantFool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Fool me three times and we are forced to consider the possibility that you’ve figured out how to make your living by lying.

ParticipantHi TDK !
hi, citix!
y’all scolded me for saying mr trump was evil. “give ’em a chance”, say thee.
well?Yep, and Trump 2.0 was “optimistically” given chances by me.
I still see some good things amidst the awful policies thus far, time will tell.I will remain optimistic towards life… hope is not really a mindset I embrace.
The burner for me re Trump is the bombing of Yemen, threatening Iran, Israel first hypocrisy.
I have not forgotten the Soleimani cowardly murder by Trump, shameful.Admittedly my anger towards the Dem and their covid woke cult getting demolished was part of my catalyst towards defending “Team Trump”. One could make the case that Trump getting elected was a vote against the Dems vs a vote for Trump.
Also please bear in mind that I am surrounded by seething mentally ill negative Liberals and am doing my best to hold on to humanity and some shreds of positivity. I’m really trying to encourage a positive outlook for others as well as myself…
The Roderick Philosophy lecture series I linked yesterday reflects on the cultural “mindset” through History. It’s funny and relevant to todays post modernism dystopian negativity so prevalent everywhere.
I learned a lesson (again) the other day making an effort to speak with my elderly female liberal jewish neighbor. I point out the jewish part because she never misses an opportunity to remind me of that, and that her family came from Russia, though she was born here.
I was going out for a run and stopped to say hello and ask how she was…big mistake.
She immediately launched into Trump is a dictator and Putin Putin Putin TDS syndrome, and that she is trying to flee the U.S.- she was also fully onboard with the covid 1984 hysterics.I pointed out that the Dem policies have destroyed Seattle, that they screwed up these past years and have never accounted for mistakes or pushing voters into Trumps lap. That some self reflection would do us all good as we had just gone full “show me your papers” medical tyranny…
She got angry and told me “the past does not matter, you can’t do anything about it…and Trump is a dictator”.
Stunning coming from a jewish woman who lives in the holocaust victimhood past, and is also a self proclaimed psychology therapist. Apparently for leftists, the past does not matter if it reflects their mistakes, but future tripping on things that have not happened are more important…
I failed trying, It’s just not worth communicating anything with todays Dems/ Liberals. You are either in total lockstep cult dogma…or you are regarded as an enemy. Speaking on violence yesterday, I was once again reminded of how psychologically brutal todays intolerant Liberals have become.
Trump is compromised by Israel and likely his own past actions, and/or he is a devout Zionist.
Unfortunately Israel is on an unabated murder spree, Democrats as well, and Trump is not a “peace” president. War is Peace 1984As a famous musician quipped- “voting for the lesser of two evils, is still voting for evil..”
…
Everyday I try to learn something, and every day I try to learn not to do something.
I still fail, but I’m still trying. It may not be far off that I embrace a path of monk like quietude, say nothing, share nothing.
Focus on inner peace, harmony and calm. Guard and protect my mind.
Leave the insane to fight it out with themselves and each other….April 4, 2025 at 8:37 pm #185558zerosum

I wrote to you: “Maybe the only good Socialist is the one that resides only in the minds of good Socialists.”
You asked back: “i really don’t understand. the last time there was socialism in America was when hugo chavez gave a bunch of poor people in the u.s. free heating oil.
oh, and when the cubans offered to help after katrina but were turned away.
other than that, i don’t really understand.”What I was trying to suggest is that “Good Socialists” probably don’t exist in reality, except as mental constructs inside the minds of people who consider themselves to be good Socialists.

ParticipantThanks for sharing more details about your Covid experience. I applaud your effort and bravery. Much of it feels familiar, although on my side we had a large coffee group of many years get torn apart. Small potatoes, I know, compared to seeing grandma wither away through the window all alone. Or having grandpa put on the euthanasia protocol and buried a few days later. Or having the medical board revoke your license for following the Hypocritic Oath.
My family and I were lucky. Thanks to some rather sharp commenters on this forum, especially Optimus Prime, the media’s hypnotic spell was broken early. Most family members were receptive to my concerns, and I was able to stock up on certain remedies before the govt import crackdown occurred. At first, I thought, what am I going to do with all this stuff, but after a couple of years most of it was used up by family and friends. I like to believe that I was able to save the life of my father, who is now 96. I think he caught Covid twice. My sister and her husband were the only family that would not listen. They live in the belly of the beast, NY, where TV pundit shows blare non-stop through the day.
It’s interesting to hear you bring up “shedding”. I’ve never been a homebody, so get out of the house whenever I can. Thus, I had much contact with the vaxxed. I take pride in staying fit (as best I can), but after the jabs started, I was drained for months. Couldn’t understand why it was happening. Really dragging my butt. Was it all the high altitude spraying, vax spike shedding, allergies, cancer? What? It eventually subsided and my energy returned to normal.
More than anything Covid showed me (by inference) how a shadowy global govt was active by the “lockstep” behavior of western media and medicine. It brought to the forefront their desire for centralized control and surveillance. The censorship industrial complex. Their ongoing effort to create deadly pathogens. Their willingness to kill millions, if not billions. Plans for depopulation. Really big stuff, that otherwise would have been difficult to accept.
That MK Ultra was no rogue aberration. Governments really don’t care about subjecting entire populations to psychological torture and tearing the social fabric apart. And then there is Ukraine, the ultimate example. Don’t get me started.
This last part wasn’t aimed at you, Phoenix, just bonus material for the others.

ParticipantGetting back to USD bonds. The vast majority of the US debt is owned internally, some even by the US government – the US government buys its own securities, for whatever reasons – even though the Fed cannot legally buy USD securities. China owns something like 4 trillion, last time I looked, Japan about 1.2 trillion, etc. But the vast majority is owned by entities within the USA.
Foreign entities need to own USD for practical purposes, China will also own Euro and Yen debt. Of course, entities within the USA include global corporations who’s customers may include foreigners. Looking at China’s USD holdings, I remembered that China is now lending some of its USD to third-world countries in order to enable them to avoid taking out IMF loans, the IMF being a key component of US imperialism. In the distant past countries were holding something like 80% of their foreign reserves as USD, now that figure is 60% and dropping. Times change but the USD is still pretty solid.

ParticipantTimes change but the USD is still pretty solid.
Solid is not the adjective that I would use. Measured against just about every solid thing of value in the world (land, wheat, steel, coal, oil, Gold, Silver, water and arable land) the actual exchange value of the US Dollar has been dropping steadily for many many decades. I prefer the metric of Dollars per ounce of gold because that metric is so simple, graphic and emotionally relatable. Measured against gold the Dollar has been on an inexorable 600% decline in purchasing power, like an old man descending into the grave, for over 50 years. that accelerated recently as its legs weakened.

ParticipantGlobalist Emperor Naked:
This week President Trump publically announced that the Globalist Emperor was naked despite the expensive fancy cloak of invisible clothes he was wearing!
Markets not knowing what to do, seem to be selling everything!
Inflation sure has taken a big hit these last 2 days!
Knee jersey reaction to the not falling sky!
Yestesday the USD fell. Today the USD went up. So which is it?For sure, over the last 2 days, the big boyz have been making a killing in the markets!
Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste!
It is obvious the big boyz were very well prepared for this big takedown event!
Their sheep clients, not so much!
They are getting sheared! What interests me is what is likely happening in the unreal markets verses the real markets.
By unreal markets, I mean the derivatives market. For example:
3M is a real company with real products.
It’s stock price goes up and down when traded in the real market. But there are also derivatives that trade on 3M’s stock price going up or down!
These derivatives trade in the unreal market.
These derivatives are the result of financialization.
This is the unreal financialization that is 2/3rds of the 18% of GDP.
It produces nothing!Somehow these unreal derivatives are going to cause a lot of globalist zombie blood to be spilled.
With a lot of dead globalist zombies too. Many of these globalist zombies are the very enemies that tried to kill Trump!
Trump is getting his revenge by using tariffs.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.We are talking about trillions and trillions!
P.S. Do zombies make a noise, when they jump out an office window?
Do zombies go splat, when they hit the ground?
Has a zombie ever been arrested?

ParticipantLosing it.
Jeff Sachs.
For the Grand Illusionist it’s one thing one day and another thing the next, but Prof I know I know.Balanced too!
So did Jeff suddenly Lose Trump or is the Prof losing it or playing the Dialectic? Either way Jeffrey maintains his position in life. There will be no targeting of Jeff by Deep State, SoS Marco Rubio’s Thugs, AIPAC or Canary Mission and not even a chance of the latter.
In honor of Professor Jeffrey Sachs’ illusion of grit and opposition and meaninglessness in general, I give you R.city:

ParticipantSachs.
A sackful of himself.
Just ask him.How does anyone account for the reproducible pattern Jeff Sachs never pays the price?
Jeffery enjoys immunity, impunity and indemnity par excellence. Sachs enjoys carte blanche, but from whom?April 5, 2025 at 3:31 am #185575zerosum
ParticipantGilbert Doctorow Did not propose to Jeff Sachs, a better way of eliminating the deficits and saving the empire.
I read “the hill” article and the interview with Tucker.
