thank you Dr. John. i was the recipient of so much tender loving kindness and compassion it would be remiss of me not to attempt to bring empathy and compassion with me wherever i go.

During my time i have had several brushes with death which occured in the present moment and were gone. This recent experience was the first time there was time for contemplation of the event unfolding. Seeing your loved ones steeling themselves to a possible reality was quite sobering. Lao Tsu’s teaching that the only thing to fear is falling from the path was borne out. i hope i passed the audition.

Perhaps John Day will become the next collaborator/successor?

Some people on TAE had worked out that it was a fake site; I was not the first, but I soon worked it out when the initiator (who will remain anonymous, unless he/she wants to reveal themselves and be the focus of all the hate) started to post comments relating to the integrity of the host. I worked it out when I saw all the Trump cheerleading, coming to TAE was pretty much the same as going to Zero Hedge, except that the comments were better on ZH. You do know who runs ZH?

Sure, the people on TAE were the sort you find in the pub when the landlord throws you out because it is closing time, but nothing much beyond that; no great revelations, no bright ideas. It is like a little pot of stew sitting on the cooker, doing its shit. Except, that the host was not neutral, was not the person you thought he was, the whole site was being run under false pretenses.

How many of the commenters are a part of that scam, who knows, it is almost impossible to tell. The nicest, the worst, me, we could all be paid for, but who can actually tell. The thing about TAE is that it is comfortable, it is one of millions of sites that aim to keep their readers busy while revealing nothing of any import to their brains; it is like a meditation session.

Don’t get me wrong, I am sure the real people on this site are very nice, good people, they wanted a place that would make them feel safe/comfortable, so became regular commenters. This site is a pool of people who are just too afraid to tackle the real world, so they revert to their childhood days and express the typical denial of the conservative. Conservatibe thinking is childhood thinking, it is about reverting to the standards and processes that your parents taught you, denial that anything new could be better than your parents taught you. Your choice, not for me to judge, if this boosts your life, then go for it.

I am interested to see what happens – I suspect that one day an unpaid bill will close the site – at which point I will start scanning John Day’s blog, after all, there is nothing wrong with receiving comfortable opinions then tearing them apart. Of course, I could be banned due to public pressure.

From the Internets: “85% of the worlds refugees are Muslim.
Not one of the 56 Muslim countries are taking in refugees.
11 of these countries are the richest in the world.
If Islam is so great; why are Muslims countries not taking care of their own?”

As per Gaza and all Palestine.

But don’t worry: there’s only one country on earth and it’s all their fault. Everybody else is a victim and nobody need do nothin’.

ESPECIALLY the world’s richest, most Muslim countries should do nothing. That’s totally correct and moral, never think about it a bit.

“Sam Altman Denies OpenAI Needs A Government Bailout: He Just Wants Massive Government Subsidies

Capitalism at work! We’re fine except we don’t really want customers, markets, prices, or anything voluntary: just go ahead and collect money from the taxpayers and give it to me. We’ll pretend to (checks notes) give them or something, IDK.

Duran: “Venezuela pivot, Cold Feet! TACO!” Russia wins!!! U.S. has been rolled up into a ball and catapulted into the sun! Trump breaks down and sobs under a table, eating a popsicle. More Click bait words!!!!!! So. Many. MOAR!!!!

Meanwhile back in “Reality” nothing happened. But we already decided Trump had ALREADY invaded, past tense, half a million men were already killed. Russia ALREADY joined in WWIII and backed them, and Maduro ALREADY ejected the U.S. in ruins.

So… anyone? Did Trump ever mean to invade ever? Since that’s impossible on its face, and never got 1/100th of the men required, nor could he? Maaaaaaybe….he DIDN’T mean to, ever, since that’s like saying he meant to jump over the moon, then stick the landing on a postage stamp from orbit, since that was always impossible and he never so much as left the Oval Office to go outside and look toward yon silv’ry orb?

Alexander then says it’s IMPOSSIBLE for him to NOT invade – HONEST! — because he’s gone too much so far and “But it just isn’t done, suh.” W. T. F.

Did you not JUST watch him do this in Iran, attacking literally nothing, then Iran attacking literally nothing back? Jesus Christ please hurry your return I can’t take it anymore. What are the last 400 “Trump just can’t” examples I can cite here? Of course he can. He’ll say “I’m bored and don’t feel like it” or some s—t. Everyone will have to suck it, and nobody cares. What are they going to do? Not re-elect him? Hahahahahaha! IDGAF. Impeach him for NOT having a war? What? Why EXACTLY can he not do this, Alex?

Oh because it would be a moderate faux pas under the British system, where you CAN have a vote of no confidence and remove the PM Executive. And? IDGAF what you monkeys do in your retarded system. You can’t remove the sitting President for NOT having a war.

It’s not even whether he will or won’t, or why, it’s the level of discussion is so dumb I can’t take it. You’re really smart people: act like it.

Especially over this jackass. Why? What is it with this one pointless idiot, who does basically nothing, that makes you all lose your minds? Then he’s controlling you. Then you realize he’s controlling you, write articles about it. Then you KEEP DOING IT, over and over, and never stop, not having one clear thought in your noggins for 12 years. Then write articles about THAT and keep doing it.

    Stop.

Everyone is projecting everything that never happened. At least not yet. Isn’t it enough to cope with what actually occurs without inventing 20 universes of events that haven’t?

Anyway, since nothing ever happens, I’m check out and mostly take another day off, doing useful things in a place called “The Real World.”

RIM, per his words, had a fall out with Nicole because, while back, they had a different positions on Trump.

Nicole, as we can see, “won”, while I suspect for a different reasons.

Regarding @aspnaz where can one even begin?

That he is a very peculiar duck is one of the very few things one can say about him with much certainty, and that he is gravely mentally ill is another.

For example. Even a cursory review of the comments posted under his “handle” of @aspnaz reveals that he is either a group of separate individuals with a murky but hostile pre-planned shared agenda, or he (presumably male) is a single individual with Dissociative Identity Disorder (no disrespect intended, I merely state the fact.).

Another example is the patently obvious self-proving contradiction that if he does indeed believe TAE to be small potatoes, run as a “fake” by a charlatan with bad motives to enthrall idiots (which would be all of us ragtag commentators and readers in such case) then why is he still here wasting his time? That’s simply blatant self-contradictory talk vs behavior.

Lastly, and as a mere aside thrown into the conversation in passing, who cares?

If TAE is coming to an end then it is coming to an END, as in will-no-longer-exist, in which case this chit-chat (including @aspnaz’s absurdities) is moot.

Methinks the laddy doth protest too much.

TBOC said: “I hope I passed the audition”.
    Reminds me of:
Lennon’s joke at the close of their last impromptu concert on the roof of Apple Corps in 1969: “I’d like to say ‘thank you’ on behalf of the group and ourselves, and I hope we passed the audition.”

    @Boogaloo
: I am doing what i can do at drjohnsblog.substack.com , which I cut up and paste here as part of each post that I put up. You already see what I come up with and my style. My timing is “regularly irregular”, or almost so, not daily. I discovered Zero Hedge in early 2008 from a link at TAE, which tickled RIM when I told him.
I appreciate the “bulletin board” nature of this comments section, as do you.

    @BlueSkye
: I am sorry to not recall the name of the soup kitchen, and somebody commented that RIM had left Greece to get better medical care, but I don’t know that.
He used to drink with our mutual friemnd in the early days, when he first went to Athens, and she intimated that he overdid it a bit, and he asked if I’d like to go out drinking, because her “conspiracy theories were wearing him down”. That was the old-days, wasn’t it? A dozen years or so ago, I think.
Anyway, I had to say that even though I knew Eleni I was not in Athens. (Also I don’t imbibe.)

@Aspnaz: Nicole Foss was real in 2008 when I helped arrange for her to speak in Austin, which was well received.
RIM seems to have been real, at least as much as I think our friend Eleni in Athens is real, and I saw a picture of her in a Palestine Flag t-shirt I sent her, and I know other people she knows, and I’ve met one, and another one sent me a Greece bike-jersey, and those 2 are identical twins, too…

How do we know what we know? What is enough?
When do we act upon it and when do we wait for something to happen?

I’ve been gardening a lot to turn the spring-summer garden into the fall-winter garden. I have that painful dirt jammed under some of my fingernails. It won’t come out and it hurts to try.
Gardens make you decide and act, or you won’t be a gardener.

RIM seems to have been real

My premise is that groups with subversive agendas are more likely to take over existing sites than create their own new sites and that TAE is a prime candidate. We all know that websites such as TAE are not money spinners. I do not know what happened at TAE, but my suspicion is that the finances forced the sale of the website to a group that had a subversive agenda; how many times have we seen that, even Zerohedge “sold out” for similar reasons.

As you alude to, RIM seems to have been real, but we don’t know whether he was or not and his sudden disappearance could be either him running away or he suffered stage 4 cancer and dropped dead just a few days after it was discovered – a lot of us have seen that happen to people over the last few years. What makes me think he was a fraud was that there is no message from him or his friends and helpers or any of his friends at the soup kitchen, despite him asking people for money on TAE to help sustain the kitchen.

Or maybe he just got overwhelmed.

Well, when your specific stated medical issue is “Going blind” and you may have a serious health crisis on top of that, enough to remove you from sunny Athens to repressive Holland, then logging into a site only you run and only you care about, and makes no money, when it’s already broken, barely operable, and needs to be completely repaired, well makes pretty straightforward sense to me.

I have computers right here in the house that need a reimage of the OS and haven’t done it, and I’m neither blind nor have a health issue.

It’s extremely common. How do you think things end? With tremendous strength and vigor, clear minded purpose right to the end? So men believe, but it is not so.

Wow, after making fun of them again today, happy to be wrong:
“Turkey Issues Own Arrest Warrant For Netanyahu, Pushing Israel Relations To Breaking Point

About time they did SOMETHING. Of course, also not acting, they’re essentially border states now, but it’s at least SOMETHING.

I’m so shocked to see a Muslim state do anything except kill other Muslims, I’m almost at a loss of words.

…Oh and blame us, of course. And by “us” I mean, America. If France kills Muslims, it’s actually America whut dun it. True facts.

Alright, I retract it. In fact it was dumb for me to say they don’t take them in, as Jordan did, and Egypt has, and there are a number of refugees pressuring Turkey. In fact, shows how overwhelmed we all are that I didn’t take the mental effort to review past 50 years in 20 countries, because I have a baseline that I do that, but I didn’t. Such is my statement “Everybody’s losing their minds” including me apparently.

However, right now, Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, etc, are all essentially closed and Turkey is really clamped down. Iran isn’t taking anyone, although that’s sensible, and Iraq isn’t trying to get colonists, which might make sense actually. Indonesia doesn’t care, Pakistan has no interest, so in the main what I’m saying is true. It’s still a fail on my part though. “L”.
