ParticipantOops. Your vocabulary is showing (not to even mention ego, arrogance and malice.) Thought you were supposed to just “one of the guys” .
I’m pretty sure I remember what a denominator is (although it was a LONG time ago), and therefore am pretty sure that Raul didn’t need one or use one, so rather a moot point. No need to get all heated up. Relax. Stay calm. I’ll let go of you pretty soon. Meanwhile, it’s simply fun to watch you squirm.

ParticipantRe: • The MSM Is Losing The Fight Of Its Life…All Thanks To Joe Rogan (QTR)
So a stand up comedian and martial arts expert is the new Walter Cronkite. Only I imagine he has a bit more leeway than Cronkite ever did. I would say this is actually a very good thing. Certainly better than all the clowns running around on the major networks.

ParticipantAs I explained in an earlier post, I have mild symptoms. But it still has me thinking of ways to conserve energy, including mental and psychic energy.
A lot of us here find it difficult not to respond when directly challenged. I think it might be part of the same set of traits that has us here in the first place. But when we continually take the bait of someone who has shown a disturbing fixation on disparaging viewpoints expressed here for courteous discussion, we only give oxygen to his desire to …. to do whatever it is he is trying to do.
More on this general idea of wasted time on futile and unworthy pursuits in a future post. For now I would simply say, Do what you always do, get what you’ve always got. Nothing frustrates an attention seeker more than being ignored. I am taking my oath right now. Not even a third party reference or acknowledgement. Just too wasteful. And to what purpose? Lets clear the bandwidth. Here’s to antibodies!

ParticipantI have always thought that for profit medicine was insane, but this is FOR PROFIT DEATH.
Just part of the new Bankster/.MIL war game/SickCare Industrial complex (Thanks ObamaCare!), the most lethal mass formation psychosis event since the Third Reich 😐
Okay fine. But if you were paying attention, you heard that here on TAE a week ago. You’re welcome:
I determined a couple of months ago that TAE is much more followed than I had imagined ~ Themes in our discussion, with specific descriptors, have popped up in the days/weeks following their emergence on TAE.
This also means that our community (pro life), including the allied blogosphere, is probably smaller than hoped for, though lately I’m sensing disturbances in the “dark” side of the Force, with a gain of gen pop awareness/awakening 🙂
Is there a “real reality” to have a New Hope?
FWIW, Cronkite was an elite protegé, a major factor in the rise of the disinfo corps ~ Cronkite never held a candle to the ethics & veracity of Rogan, Cronkite was the antithesis of the New World Order agenda…
I don’t watch much of Rogan’s talk-fests (none of Pool/Dore at all in over a year), unless there’s groundbreaking info that’s usually easily parsed with bullet point articles.
TPTB are losing “The Narrative”, let’s hope the gen pop drops out of their stupor before the psychopaths do something terrible to distract & pump up the FEAR factor…

ParticipantThis is a very serious question …
Why does everyone refer to Deflationista as a male? (he)
I have always thought of Deflationista as femaie – perhaps because of the languages that gender identify with word usage? (Spanish for example).

ParticipantI’m not sure where the statement “the US sneezes and the world gets a cold” comes from, but y’all from other countries ought to be ashamed of yourselves for even thinking that, much less saying it out loud. Why would you let that be the case? And for how many decades is that going to be the excuse?
Perhaps it’s time for everyone to put on their big boy pants and take some responsibility for what’s happening on their home turf.
As for people worried about the SCOTUS decision tomorrow? Those US citizens who haven’t given in yet, won’t. Doesn’t matter what SCOTUS says tomorrow.
In case you wonder if that’s true. Here … nearly 6 million views. Not one down vote yet.
End of unpopular post … you may now down vote me. 😉

Participant“Why does everyone refer to Deflationista as a male?”
Good question. I jumped to the conclusion based on speech patterns, but I sure wouldn’t put serious money on that bet. Maybe Deflationista could give us the preferred pronoun. Don’t want to gender offend anyone.

Participant* St. Francis on Ecstasy is beautiful and mind-expanding.
* Omicron 100x less deadly; Pandemic is over in two weeks; They have two weeks to beat us over the head with the curve; Two weeks is like a thousand years in Covid time, and a thousand years like two weeks.
* New Fact-Based Conspiracy Theory: Daily case count graph in the USA looks suspiciously like the Arabic word for “why?”. Bin Laden is still alive and in control.
* If you want a picture of the future, imagine a needle stabbing a human arm, forever.
* Walensky announces 75% of deaths from Covid are among those with 4 or more comorbidities, however, new evidence suggests all comorbidities are caused by Covid, so comorbidities from Covid, not with Covid.
* My Doc is Dr. Ruth: Take two Viagra three times a day and stay in bed for a week.
* If a tree has Covid in a forest and no one is there to test it, was it a case?
* Obi Won Mediobi: This is not the mass formation you are looking for. This mass formation may go about its business. (Aside to Luke: The Media Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.)

Participant@upstateNYer: had an interesting experience and “reaction” to the pronoun thing last week. Am coaching local high school students for the Poetry Out Loud program. The instructions for the initial student/coach introductions included using gender inclusive pronouns. No big deal, right?
I admit, this was my first direct encounter with it. The actual experience caused an unexpected reaction in me – sadness – and then anger at having been asked to do it . Am amazed at how we continue to to divide ourselves up into subgroups/categories – for what? That it would be necessary to explain who I am/am not in this way. If those who identify as They/Them/Their wish to add a pronoun to their name, so be it.
Instead of it being an inclusive thing if felt like a divider. Where did this come from anyway?
Maybe I’m over-reacting. After all I was a married Ms. for a few years. It was a “badge”. I refuse to use Widow. Seems like titles are fading. They seem like a different thing from the pronouns. Maybe/maybe not?
How are you dealing with it?

I’ve always referred to the deflated one as “they” because they haven’t told us their pronouns. I’m down with respecting the pronouns just as long as it’s none of that “xe/xir/xippedydoodah” stuff.

ParticipantThe case fatality rate here is Korea is downright awful.
In Korea, a case is defined as a positive PCR test. Cumulatively there have been 667,390 positive PCR tests and 6,071 deaths attributed to Covid. Across all age groups that’s an overall case fatality rate of nearly 1%. That’s a hell of a lot worse than the flu. It’s atrocious. Almost criminal. But that’s what happens when you combine (i) no early treatment and (ii) more than 80% of the population severely deficient in Vitamin D. Korea has a much lower obesity rate than Western countries, so should be doing better — but it’s the opposite.
Even if Omicron is much less severe, Korea is going to have a tough time with this as long as the authorities continue to reject early treatment and do nothing about the Vitamin D situation.

Participant@Veracious Poet:
You gave a link for this quote from Joe Biden – ” […] ‘I’m not an economist, but I’ve been doing this a long time. But here’s the way to look at it. If car prices are too high right now, there are two solutions: You increase the supply of cars by making more of them, or you reduce demand for cars by making Americans poorer. That’s the choice.’ ” This quote comes from an article that has chosen to truncate the full quote. Unfortunately, this is common practice, but is an unfair and unethical way to quote someone.
Here’s what Biden said, and note the sentences immediately after the part of the quote you gave:
——-
“I’m not an economist, but I’ve been doing this a long time. But here’s the way to look at it. If car prices are too high right now, there are two solutions: You increase the supply of cars by making more of them, or you reduce demand for cars by making Americans poorer. That’s the choice.
Believe it or not, there’s a lot of people in the second camp. You’ll hear them complain that wages are rising too fast among the very middle-class and working-class people who have endured decades of stalled incomes.
Their view of the economy says the only solution to our current and future challenges is to make the working families that are the backbone in our country poorer or keep them in the state they’re in.
It’s a pessimistic vision, and I reject it. I reject the idea that we should somehow punish people because they finally have a little more breathing room.
America doesn’t need to settle for less. We need an economy that has the capacity to generate more growth, more jobs, and more opportunity for all Americans.”transcript from: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2022/01/07/remarks-by-president-biden-on-the-december-2021-jobs-report/
———-Now, I don’t think Biden is up to the job. I also think he lies like a rug on the floor. I also think he has no clue what to do about rising costs, the shitty jobs available in the US, creating better jobs, or any of it. He’s not capable of the job of being president, mentally or ethically.
But let’s not join in the game of misquoting someone to make it sound like they said something they didn’t. And I will add that I don’t think YOU deliberately misquoted Biden – you just didn’t click on the link in the article you were reading (the one you quoted from) to see what Biden actually said. The article’s embedded link takes you to the WH transcript itself, and makes it obvious that the writer of the article left off a few key sentences. I’m sure he assumed no-one would bother to click on the link; most people don’t.
