Paying Maddow for money well spent. …On her relentlessly promoting paranoia and war. With the quote “gay people are “God’s Little Angels”. As why did you THINK they recruit them (and like types) for this? Who knew that gay people are – follow my logic here — …People, and some of them will sell out a million fellow men for horrible, unspeakable deaths so they can can a $30M apartment AND a $40M mansion. (coughMaddowcough) …On the beach, ‘cuz they believe in Global Warming, ‘natch.
Did anyone ELSE know that gay people…or women…or minorities…are people and have equal bad behavior to all other people/humans? This changes everything.
…All those years of “If only we could elect women (president)” … then they’d go on national TV and say murdering a million brown children was “worth it” while the nation and UN cheer.
“National Resource Value”
Note that you can’t actually know, since you don’t go looking for more copper mines or whatever until the first copper mines start to run out. …This goes to the constant “There are only 10 years left of (vital metal here)!!!!! We all gonna dieeeeee!” Yes, as soon as it looks like the price might rise, Junior Miners go out and explore and develop.
That said, I’m pretty sure this chart is expressing accurately what it means to express. But also probably the US has far more than we’re listing. The New World has uncanny, and quite probably, market-ending levels of gold and silver in the ground. We shut ours down and get it from Mexico, etc., but it’s still sitting there, mostly because as soon as a mine is found, the U.S. government “Finds” a military base or national park on top of it about a week after. Probably hypothecates it immediately to sell the national debt to UAE and China.
“Ukraine needs dozens of US-made Patriot air defense system batteries if it hopes to protect its infrastructure and troops on the battlefield against Russian air superiority,”
What happened the the air superiority you started with? What about the other one we gave you?
Okay, for the slow, here’s the war: We need to make and deliver Patriots faster than Russia can make and deliver Kinzals. We have zero Patriots, zero rockets for them, and are delivering 10,000 miles. Russia could beat us by making one Kinzal a month.
“I estimate that only about twenty percent of Americans would die in the course of losing a nuclear war, deaths insignificant compared to abortion and all that, and destruction insignificant compared to the Rust Belt and all the Detroits. No big deal in the broad historical sweep that this blog looks at.”
Chilling and no doubt completely true.
“America is a Religion. On July 4, 1776,”
Interesting and worth watching as a basis, or as a problem. This is whether we’re trying to be a “City on the Hill” or evangelize in person at the point of a gun (or a checkbook). Flowery language, but I don’t feel like he makes a solid point here, which is what such language usually covers for.
“The rioters rioted without cause even to protest; there was insufficient evidence of irregularities in the 2020 election to believe US President Joe Biden hadn’t won.”
So the narrative goes. Success! …And we know this because we never looked. Rall? Can you tell me how we would know that was true or false before we looked, esp just a month after? The Riots were in pursuit of merely ASKING them to merely LOOK. As is legal and essentially required by law. They refused.
What gets me is this and Tim Pool and otherwise intelligent people say this. “We know all things we never looked at or examined, were never brought to court and no evidence was subpoenaed” Uh-huh. Must be nice. The CIA should hire you to merely “Know” things nobody can know, it would save us a bunch of money. WHY do they do it? I think it’s unconscious response to the Overton Window. At first they do know and the options are open. But then they realize it’s unstrategic and they won’t win that line. So they merely re-create reality so it fits, then mock the people who didn’t go self-delusional. And okay, that may be the more strategic approach (short-term), but it’s still a lie.
“public needed a full accounting of the FBI bungling.”
LIE! It wasn’t bungling. As above, we just re-write reality and the narrative so…we don’t have to DO anything, arrest anyone, and slavishly support the status quo of raw POWER. Works like a charm as their God is to Power and not to Truth. #Power has now displaced #Truth. #Truth is the #Logos we have outlawed from our lives. “Hell is the absence of God,” of #Logos, so there you are, where we are, explained perfectly.
The FBI gamed the FISA court? Endlessly, brazenly, for nothing, and like 20,000 times? Okay, so we fixed that, right? Oh wait: nobody even PROPOSED fixing it, even knowing it’s illegal and unconstitutional, AND that it doesn’t work, harmed all citizens and indeed the basis of the entire United States? Really? GTFO.
We uncovered like 10,000 felonies, presenting false evidence to a court. Planting evidence on witnesses. Omitting 1st-tier facts like that suspects are already cleared by the CIA, allegations are literally impossible, informants are paid. In service of another 10,000 felonies, like election tampering. But there were no felonies although you listed them all.
People this and say “Uh-huh.” People WRITE this and say “Uh-huh.” Tim Pool reads the list – for like the 5,000th time, and unlike the first time, he now inexplicably sees no felonies, none of the ones he saw before. Reporters report the felonies and then report there are no felonies. …And certainly no election tampering, at the paid behest of foreign powers, like Biden getting $5M steadily.
““It is man’s intelligence that makes him so often behave more stupidly than the beasts” – Huxley.
The Poster child of IYI. Too clever by a half.
I won’t get into it, but he’s so clever he believes in nothing. I’m sure that works great and never gives you blind spots or nothing, but note: everybody except him is an idiot. People did all these things for 10,000 years because they don’t work a bit. Right? They all died the same as you, but they’re not the ones remembered as a miserable bollocks.

So sad, the weapons get destroyed before they can even be positioned near the line of contact.

China has tamed the world’s most powerful explosive, military scientists say“New synthesizing method can give five-fold stability boost to CL-20, the deadliest non-nuclear explosive in existence, Chinese research team says
According to 2021 US study commissioned by Pentagon, only China has CL-20 mass production capacity and has used it in some of its newest weapons
China’s CL-20 research is reportedly closely linked to its nuclear weapons programme. More powerful explosives can reduce the size of nuclear weapons and allow intercontinental ballistic missiles to travel further.
In a recent war game, Chinese defence researchers sank an entire US aircraft carrier fleet in the South China Sea with 24 hypersonic missiles. Some military experts believe that these weapons used CL-20 warheads.

Get Ready, Set, Go
Ukrainian Brigadier General Sergey Melnik, deputy commander of the Ukrainian force grouping stationed in the northeastern Kharkov Region, admitted to Spanish newspaper El Pais that Ukraine had already lost most of its experienced troops to deaths and injuries.
“The problem is that we have a lack of people and equipment,”
Zelensky also highlighted the need for stronger air defences, and claimed that the US-made Patriot systems are virtually the only ones in the world capable of countering certain Russian missile types. He said Ukraine would need as many as 50 Patriot batteries to ensure sufficient air defenses. The lack of such protection means “a large number of soldiers will die,” during the offensive, he added.
Each Patriot battery costs around $1.1 billion, according to estimates by the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) think tank, cited by Forbes.
The total cost of Zelensky’s demand thus translates to a military aid package worth $55 billion, which is more than the total amount of US military aid allocated to Kiev thus far.
Apart from Patriots, the US and its allies have also provided Ukraine with other air defense systems, including the US-made NASAMS, Germany’s IRIS-T air defense missile systems, and Gepard anti-aircraft tanks. In February 2023, the head of the German Armed Forces Association (DBwV), Colonel Andre Wustner, warned that the $2 billion worth of military aid Berlin provided to Kiev had left Germany’s military with a shortage of essential hardware.

Russia is Disarming the WEST/NATO/USA in Ukraine
“They [the weapons] are all detected now and they’re all getting programmed into the Russian target database.
And the Russians are gonna start hitting this stuff, more and more and more and we see evidence of this already,” Ritter pointed out, adding that in his opinion this conflict would become “unsustainable for the Ukrainian sometime by the end of summer, early fall.”

Depopulation tools,
nukes.Do anyone’s nukes still work? My guess is that Global American Empire nukes stopped working a long time ago, but some Russian nukes still work. Nukes were and are made out of components that deteriorate over time, and have to regularly refurbished, reconditioned and sometimes rebuilt.

ParticipantOn AI: A Voice Of Reason
Today’s things they’re calling AI, particularly the generative AIs – these are literally just B.S. generators, they have no verified content in them, and the results totally unreliable.
The notion we’re going to apply these to things like search… it’s going to result in one bad outcome after another.
The guys at OpenAI [the company behind ChatGPT] are trying to create the illusion that what they’re doing is inevitable. Yet there is no way to monetize this other than surveillance capitalism – [monetizing user data] – and we know from social media how much harm that causes.
What you’re looking at is a battle between the OpenAI guys trying to create this sense of inevitability, and market saying, “Wait a minute guys, interest rates are now 5%, it costs a half a billion dollars in parts [the cost of Nvidia’s AI Chips] to do each training session. That’s too high in a 5% interest-rate environment when you have a business with no obvious business model.”
[Using chatbots] you have to do fact-checking on a search engine, that literally defeats the purpose of a search engine. That isn’t progress.
AI has enormous potential… the trick is you need to change the incentives. Executives who lead these projects have an incentive to protect the people who use it and ensure that the content produces accurate results. Until you see those things driving the industry, the products will suck.
