Not sure if this is soap or detergent but we have been using it for over a decade for our laundry.
Fill a twenty litre, (five gallon) pale half way with hot water
add:
1 and 1/2 cups of Borax
1 and 1/2 cups of washing soda, we use Arm and Hammer
1 cup of Castille soap, comes in scented as well as non scented
Mix well and fill up with water let stand for twenty four hours and you are good to go!
We fill a smaller container for use and I would add that you should shake or stir before using.
It cleans well and costs pennies per wash.
