Are these the contradictions of Capitalism of which you speak?
Opinion of a one man that fits your narrative is a deal breaker?
My crazy left-oriented ex-brother in law, Amer, made a family trip to USSR in late 80’s. He was toying with idea that they even would like to move there – “Perestroika”, you know. I have told him that he’ll be greatly disappointed. Well…he was without admitting. Later on in life, he’d died recently, I doubt that he had even passing thought that what he had experienced on that trip resembles anything in the USA in the slightest.
BTW, have you been in any of “those” countries that you such an expert about?
I recall that you had a pretty hard time landing the job. Aren’t you supposed to be working? Your non-woke, very hard capitalist boss is watching you.November 9, 2023 at 8:56 pm #146313

Israelis admit that THEY are responsible for the massacre of their citizens at the October 7th concert, not Hamas!!!
-by John Kountouris | Nov. 09, 2023 | Los Angeles
An Israeli Apache helicopter is shooting at civilians and civilian vehicles, everywhere.
This explains why there were so many burned and destroyed vehicles, despite the fact that Hamas fighters mostly only had light weapons.
New first-hand accounts from witnesses of Israel’s clashes with Hamas militants on 7 October suggest that, in their desperation to contain the surprise incursion, Israeli troops indiscriminately fired on their own citizens with heavy weaponry, resulting in potentially scores of Israeli deaths from so-called “friendly fire”.
Testimonies of eye witnesses and Israeli sources compiled by The Grayzone,
https://thegrayzone.com/2023/10/27/israels-military-shelled-burning-tanks-helicopters/ contradicts the Israeli account of the events that unfolded on 7 October. The Occupation State has refused to reveal full details of the atrocities it claims to have been carried out by Hamas and, thus far, has only released selective information about the attack.

a brain fart
Sometimes my brain goes blank
And I can’t think of what to say
I forget the words I need
And I feel like a lump of clay
It’s like a fart in my head
A silent but deadly one
It makes me feel embarrassed
And I just want to run
But brain farts happen to everyone
They are not a big deal
They are just a temporary glitch
And they don’t change how I feel
So when I have a brain fart
I don’t let it get me down
I just laugh it off and move on
And I don’t act like a clown

Another Interview With Dominique De Villepin On The Conflict In Palestine (As Translated By Arnaud Bertrand)
“The Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, failed on October 7th and failed doubly. Firstly, in its ability to ensure the protection of the Israeli people by allowing massacres that are an abomination to occur. He bears direct responsibility for what happened. And his second failure is having encouraged a policy of occupation and colonization, which continues at this moment in the West Bank and constitutes another threat to Israel if a second front in the West Bank were to open.
Force does not ensure the security of a people! This is what all Israelis must understand today. And what is important is that since October 7th, the Israeli government’s choice has been to escalate the use of force. You know, neither force nor vengeance ensures peace and security. What ensures peace and security is justice! And justice is not being served today…
..We are essentially dealing with a policy of vengeance from the Netanyahu government. Israel has the right to self-defense, but self-defense does not give an indiscriminate right to kill civilian populations. When you target an ambulance, you can always imagine that there was a terrorist in one of the ambulances, or not. But the result is that there are children, women who die. Every child, every woman killed, that’s more terrorists. Therefore, Israel’s objective, what Israel achieves, is exactly the opposite of what they wish. So, it is essential today to change this logic and return to a strategy that is sound…
..Force is not the answer, once again. Vengeance is not the answer. The answer is justice, and that is what all the peoples of the world, all those who today watch what is happening, call for justice.
Today the direction we must follow is to prevent Benjamin Netanyahu from continuing his suicidal logic that will make Israel a besieged state. They can besiege Gaza, but they will be besieged. And do not think that tomorrow we will again have a pacified discourse with Saudi Arabia, with the Arab states that will normalize the situation: no! The wounds of history are awakening.
Israel’s interest is to have a responsible state at its side. And this responsible state, let’s stop splitting hairs, must clearly be the West Bank, all of the West Bank. It must be Gaza, with access between the two territories, and East Jerusalem. The problem, and this is the whole point of Benjamin Netanyahu’s escalation, is that Benjamin Netanyahu does not want it. And the policy of separation must be dignified. That is, it must confer to the Palestinians a state where they can live, a viable state, a true state, which can build itself and which will be all the more at peace…
[Host: “Does that mean that the settlements in the West Bank have to be removed?”]
Well, when we left Algeria, there were a million French who left Algeria. Today there are 500,000 Israelis colonizing the West Bank, and there are 200,000 in East Jerusalem.
[Host: “They must leave the West Bank?”]
Yes. Yes, that is history, that is responsibility, that is the price! I tell you solemnly, it is the price of security for Israel! And all those who today consider that it will never be enough are pursuing the worst policy.”
NOVEMBER 6, 2023 BY M. K. BHADRAKUMAR , US, Israel to open second front in Lebanon
The announcement late Sunday night by the US Central Command [CENTCOM] headquartered in Doha about the arrival of a Ohio-class American nuclear submarine in its “area of responsibility” presages a significant escalation of the situation around the Palestine-Israel conflict.
It is very rare that the use of these submarines is publicised. The CENTCOM provided no additional details but it posted an image that apparently showed an Ohio-class submarine in Egypt’s Suez Canal Bridge. Interestingly, CENTCOM also separately shared an image of a nuclear-capable B-1 bomber operating in the Middle East.
Taken together, these US deployments, coming on top of the formidable presence of two aircraft carriers and warships hundreds of advanced jet fighters in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Red Sea respectively, are with an eye on “the other side of the equation,” as Secretary of State Antony Blinken quaintly described Hamas, Hezbullah, and Iran during his latest visit to Tel Aviv on Friday.
The Submarine USS Florida can carry about 160 Tomahawk cruise missiles, not ICBMs, but these Tomahawk cruise missiles can carry a W80 nuclear warhead.
(W80 warheads were “retired in 2013”, but there were plans to bring them back, so gray-zone.)

Disturbing footage from the early days of the Israel-Hamas war has become a topic of controversy over a month later, as one major Israeli newspaper strongly suggests it shows helicopter footage of Israeli forces firing indiscriminately on civilians “approximately an hour after the onset of the [Hamas] terror attack” on Oct. 7, while media fact checkers – including those dropping ‘community notes’ on X, insist the clip does not show the IDF firing on concertgoers – and that Israeli forces instead “mainly fired within Kibbutzim at the directive of IDF soldiers on the ground, precisely, as stated in the source, that they couldn’t differentiate.” (See for yourself.)
Kevin Barrett , Israel Will Lose, Here’s Why
The non-Western world majority has turned sharply against Israel—even more sharply than it turned against the US in its war on Russia through Ukraine. Yet Western media continue to manufacture and inhabit a bubble completely divorced from moral and strategic reality. They can’t even imagine Israel being in the wrong, even though it obviously is. They can’t imagine Hamas being noble and chivalrous fighters, and Israelis being cowardly child-killing terrorists, though such is obviously the case. They can’t acknowledge that the vast majority of the world disagrees with them for very good reasons, not because of “anti-Semitism.” And above all they can’t imagine that Israel, despite (or because of) its genocidal assault on civilians, is losing the war…
The shock that produced the predicament…Israel between an “image of victory” and defeat , Al-Jazeera (machine translated)
The Israeli leadership has launched its war on Gaza at a time when it has the confidence of only 27% of the Israeli public, while only about 51% trust the Israeli army. Added to this are the burdens of 250,000 people seeking refuge from the Gaza region and the northern areas near Lebanon, as well as the more than 240 Israelis held prisoner by the resistance in Gaza.
Accordingly, for Israel, this war is not like previous wars. Israel is suffering huge daily losses and erosion of resources, including soldiers, equipment, time, money, and legitimacy (internal and external support). The cost will continue to rise as the war lengthens or expands.
Maariv newspaper comments on the conditions of the ground war taking place on the outskirts of Gaza, saying, “The resistance forces are very far from being broken. Despite the liquidations and assassinations, Hamas is succeeding in most cases in maintaining an organized method of fighting, based mainly on tunnel fighting, exiting from hiding places, and launching missiles at our armoured vehicles.”…
..Netanyahu and the extremist members of his government stand accused of dividing Israeli society. The leader of the opposition Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, has charged the Prime Minister with “fighting the army and the people of Israel.” The issue of prisoners held by the resistance has also sparked internal divisions, especially after Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu called for bombing Gaza with a nuclear weapon, saying, “What does hostage mean? In war, the price is paid. Why are the lives of hostages more precious than the lives of soldiers?” This was considered by Israelis to be “an abandonment by the government of its commitment to returning the hostages.”…
..Israeli military officials realize that it is impossible to liberate the prisoners militarily, but they are proceeding nonetheless under political pressure, despite the fact that the families of the prisoners, as well as the countries that have nationals among the prisoners, want an exchange deal. Netanyahu believes that such a deal would be a final acknowledgment of defeat and a victory for Hamas and the Palestinian resistance…
..In contrast to the Israeli non-plan, following the painful military blow directed at Israel on the morning of October 7, the plan of Hamas and the resistance seems clear: stop the war, carry out a comprehensive prisoner exchange, and lift the siege of Gaza. The resistance is waging a war of attrition on the Israeli army, inflicting ever-increasing daily losses, and appears prepared for a long war to erode the elements of Israeli power.
Time is not on Israel’s side, as it loses more money, men, and legitimacy, its internal crisis worsens, and the pressures and doubts surrounding it increase, with the possibility of the situation exploding regionally…
..The international community has begun to realize that the campaign launched by Benjamin Netanyahu on Gaza is nothing more than a series of horrific daily massacres against civilians that has not achieved any significant military breakthrough. The prognosis: Israel will be forced to submit to defeat under internal and external pressures.

Simplicius looks at the practical need for regime-change in Ukraine (soon), and the machinations of the rats on the sinking ship.
Marching Toward a Night of the Long Knives in Ukraine
Gilbert Doctorow: Russian political elites and the Kremlin look at the suggestions now surfacing in U.S. and Western media that the Russia-Ukraine war has reached an impasse and that it is time for the sides to negotiate a peace.
The Russians take this to mean that the United States has shifted its priorities to the conflict in the Middle East and to preparing for the coming armed confrontation with China. Kiev can now be let go without calling undue attention to America’s unreliability as defense guarantor, because global media are focused on the Hamas-Israel fight.
However, from the standpoint of Russian elites the war in Ukraine has tilted decisively in Moscow’s favor now that Kiev has largely exhausted its human and material reserves for waging war. These elites have no interest whatsoever in a Korea-like solution, in a ‘frozen conflict’ that could be warmed up again at some time in the future when Washington so decides.

You can’t blame the group, because the group is just comprised of individuals.
You can’t blame the individual, because the individual has been conditioned by the group and does not represent the whole group.
Can’t blame the system, because its made up of individuals.
It’s certainly not the individual, they’re just part of the system.
What a nifty bit of mind fuckery by the tae apologists. No individual or group is repsonsible or accountable because the individual does not represent the whole- yet the whole produces the individual.
I don’t give a rat’s arse what the ethnicity, family, religion, etc., may be of the person is who is trying to take away the liberty and rights of myself
What about a group of individuals ?
Do they get a free pass? How about when you come up against the govt system re your kids?
Is it the system or the individual IN the system?
the increasing vilification of one religious group and the very rude and unkind shit-slinging
His Grandfather was in the Hitler youth to his family’s shame (Polish attempt at not dying). He is however JEWISH… if my brother grandfather was a Polish JEW who fought for the Nazi’s to like NOT DIE.
Unkind shit slinging towards groups of genocidal killers ? Oh the travesty.
Hmmm, so a Jews selfishness to be a nazi because they are concerned about themselves? Reminds me of the George Soros story- a Jew (in hiding) helping Ukronazis steal Jew posessions after they were shipped off to camps- because “someone was going to do it, so why not me”
What I learned from tae apologists-
No group, race, religion, political party shall be called out because the group does not represent anything accountable or responsible. It is only the individual, but they are just trying to survive the system of groups so don’t blame them. We’re all just victims.
When you call out a group you incite genocide- even if that group is committing genocide right before your lying eyes.
Democrats and Republicans working together to screw America
Oh No ! It couldn’t be. Not all democrats and not all republicans- what shame- how can you group a group together ?
Americans are not Americans- we have a free border where millions of non Americans can cross to become Americans. Can’t blame Americans for being democrats or republicans or being Americans.
Jews are not Jews. Jews are a govt, a race, a religion and THE chosen people. Don’t pick on one Jew or the group you monsters. There is no genocide in Gaza.
America is not at endless wars for profit. America only supports good women (guys) good jews and good germans and good ukronazis.November 10, 2023 at 4:20 am #146338

Reflections from November 4th’s March on Washington: Free Palestine Rally
A Historic Moment Sparks A Movement
If someone would have said in 2014, that one day 300,000 people would converge onto the United States Capitol demanding Palestinian liberation they probably would have been laughed at and mocked. However, since Oct. 7th, Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza has been no laughing matter and it has galvanized millions around the world to march, rally, protest, disrupt the systems that are upholding Israel’s blatant ethnic cleansing project. The outpour of support and advocacy for the people of Gaza has been loud and visible and on Saturday it made history as the largest day of international solidarity for Palestine in history.November 10, 2023 at 4:25 am #146339D Benton SmithParticipant

@Mr. House – it appears that there is another angle which would leave Israel in a position of some power (well, economically and geopolitically)
Armstrong has written about the Ben Gurion Canal which has been in development since 1963 ” Declassified documents reveal that the US Department of Energy was planning to take extreme measures to make this canal possible. On July 1, 1963, a plan was outlined to create the Israeli Canal by detonating 520 underground nuclear explosions throughout the Negev Desert. “Such a canal would be a strategically valuable alternate to the present Suez Canal and would probably contribute greatly to the economic development of the surrounding area,” the declassified document stated.
The document notes that 130 of the 160 miles dedicated to the canal are “virtually unpopulated desert wasteland,” but the primary issue would be relocating those from the Gaza Strip. ”November 10, 2023 at 3:19 pm #146363NoiretteParticipant
