There is no shortage of silver!
In fact there is going to be a lot of demand destruction.
For example, solar panels will now only have copper in them.
Recycling of silver is ramping up rapidly as in 3 to 6 months.Kiev:
600,000 people have not left Kiev.
Trains westward are not running.
All roads leading out of Kiev are manned by headhunters issuing passes to the front!ICE in Mn:
ICE was all alone in battling corrupt state, and municipal governments in MN, corrupt state and municipal police forces, and corrupt federal, state, and municipal judges, with no help from the FBI nor DoJ.
ICE agents were being constantly targeted by well organized professional agitators funded by the local corrupt actors trying to protect their grifts.
So very definately a “us verses them” setup, not seen anywhere else.
It is highly likely no ICE agent is willing to die to protect the grifts of any of the above corrupt actors.
So with professional agitators constantly threatening these ICE agents, and corrupt judges supporting law breakers, it is no surprise that ICE agents adopted a “shoot to kill” attitude, not seen in any other state.
When justice is that corrupt, police don’t bother to arrest suspects.

ParticipantThere is no shortage of silver!
In fact there is going to be a lot of demand destruction.
For example, solar panels will now only have copper in them.
Recycling of silver is ramping up rapidly as in 3 to 6 months.Depends on what you mean by shortage. Do you mean “don’t have enough in hand or acquirable to keep making stuff ” then you’re right. There’s no actual shortage because the factories are all still making stuff.
If, however, you use the word “shortage” to describe a situation like driving a dump truck through the Sahara with only 5 gallons of gas left in the tank, with the nearest gas station 500 miles away, and rationing limited to 5 gallons per customer if and when you manage to get there, and a station owner who’s scalping the desperate customers to the tune of $100 per gallon, plus no more oil in the ground ’cause somebody nuked the oil fields, then ….. if you would call that a “shortage” of gasoline… THEN you could say that there’s a shortage of silver.
And there is. Just run the numbers. there is simply NOT enough silver above ground or accessible through increased mining AND recycling, to enable industrialized high tech civilization to survive past the 6 or 7 year mark going forward (or avoid major stumbles and problems long before that ultimate “Game Over” situation.
I’m not fear mongering. I’m doing the math. You should, too, if you’ve grown accustomed to electricity and shopping for groceries. This isn’t some rhetorical game of words I’m talking about here folks. I’m talking about the end… literally the END of High Tech electrically operated civilization as we have come to know it over the past hundred years or so.
The type of civilization that we have at this moment (all battery powered, AI computerized and everything) is simply not possible without INCREASING quantities of silver (vastly increasing, like doubling or tripling in a decade) ….. and our quantities are going DOWN at an accelerating rate.
I’m not wrong. My facts and numbers are good.
Of course after the “demand destruction” stemming from civilizational collapse there won’t be a silver shortage to speak of, but that’s a little drastic.
If we don’t wind this insanity down to manageable levels immediately (and of course we won’t) then a few billion people are going to die from war and starvation within this decade.

ParticipantCarney and China’s 49,000 BYD EVs:
This is what Carney really did!
Carney recently made a deal with China for Canada to import 49,000 cheap BYD EVs.
Carney is helping China sell 49,000 EV carbon credits to Canada’s current car industry.
The cheap cost of the BYD EVs does not affect the size of the carbon credit China gets to sell to Canada’s car industry. The carbon credit is the same for a cheap EV, as for an expensive EV!
Trudeau set up the same carbon neutral rules/trading as the EU set up for their car industry.
So both EU and Canadian car industries have to buy these carbon neutral credits from China’s EV manufacturers or face hefty fines. So EU and Canadian domestic car industries are forced to subsidize China’s EV manufacturers!
The 49,000 BYD EVs Canada is importing is just for the first year!
The annual quota then rises quickly to 75,000 per year, and then probably much higher, thereafter!EU imported about 400,000 BYD EVs in 2024.
In 2025 this rose to about 800,000 BYD EVs.
In 2026, the number will top 1,000,000 per year.
We are talking billions of dollars in carbon credits!China’s BYD EVs are sold at cost or less than cost because their real profit comes from selling carbon credits, not the EVs!
And the BYD EV is cheap, very cheap!
So the EU and Canada are subsidizing China’s EV manufacturers to the tune of billions of dollars, to help destroy their own current domestic car industry! All on purpose too!
One simply can’t make this shit up!

ParticipantJust for the record, since it digested Bear Stearns in 2008 JP Morgan Chase has manipulated the paper silver market to drive the price into the bargain basement, where it quietly paid dollars for that silver by cash-covering its paper “losses”. In this way Morgan invisibly “bought” the real metal for absurdly low prices (well under 20 bucks an ounce) and stacked the ingots in their vaults.
They have amassed over 750 million ounces, roughly a year’s industrial requirement at today’s usage rate. Everyone outside of China who needs serious (multi-million ounce) industrial quantities of silver to keep their chip, battery and AI Data Center doors open will be buying it from J.P. Morgan Chase
But don’t worry, I’m sure the owners of JP Morgan Chase have no intention of profiting from their cornering of a monetarily, physically, and civilizationly vital market .
Morgan is the largest banking institution in the world, and the 14th biggest business (of any kind) by Market Capitalization. Morgan is owned by Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group, and CME Group is owned by the usual suspects (Vanguard, Blackrock, State Street, and the various Royal and Dynastic families of the world. Those entities, in turn, work for evil incarnate… but that’s a different story line.

No need to panic!
OK you can panic, if you want to!Solar panels can be made using new copper technologies that were not economical with cheap silver.
So remove solar panels demand for silver! There are currently 19 billion ounces of known mine silver reserves.
Old mines and current mines only need 5 years or less, to increase current production.
The biggest and quickest increase will come from recycling, as in 3 to 6 months! The tell, is how quickly silver prices fall, going forward.

Seriously, I see the silver/tech/control situation as a conglomerate. Each crisis nests and converges perfectly with practically all of the others listed in the news (mainstream and other) each day. Name me a crisis and I’ll show how it connects directly to the others, in a kind of “Armageddon Stew” that’s way past its use-by date.

ParticipantEmergency Totalitarianism https://drjohnsblog.substack.com/p/emergency-totalitarianism
The essential step in totalitarianism is to dehumanize a group, and have the rest of society become complicit in the acts of robbing, imprisoning and killing them. All of the complicit people become guilty and insecure, clinging to the power-structure which can now consume them whenever it needs to.
Ruling elites go to this fallback strategy when economies crash and citizens get hungry and desperate.
We see attempts at this outgroup-dehumanization now. Please don’t bite.

I have in mind what took place during the visit of Trump’s envoys Kushner, Witkoff and Gruenbaum to the Kremlin on 22 January, Putin’s talks with President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian State on the same day, and then the talks of Russians, Ukrainians and the Americans in Abu Dhabi on 23 and 24 January…
..There were two lines of negotiation in Abu Dhabi. One line, between military experts from the Russian and Ukrainian sides, was over security issues, meaning in fact over conditions of the Ukrainian withdrawal from Donbas and the creation of a buffer zone between Russians and Ukrainians along the new borders. This line of discussion will resume next weekend in Abu Dhabi. The other line of discussion was between the Americans and the Russians over steps to normalize state-to-state relations as the war winds down and peace comes to Ukraine. These talks will resume early in the coming week…
..Russia’s contribution of the 1 billion dollars entrance fee for permanent participation in the Board is to come from Russia’s frozen state assets held in the USA. Almost certainly, Russia’s decision to take part in the Board and to contribute its billion was the main subject of the talks that Putin had with President Abbas. Moreover, as Kiselyov discretely slipped into his remarks, it is likely that the remaining $4 billion in frozen Russian assets in the USA will now be earmarked for aid in the reconstruction of Gaza…
..The release of the assets for the sake of reconstruction in Gaza sets the precedent for something I have advocated for more than a year: the $300 billion in frozen Russian state assets held in Belgium and other European States could constitute part of the $800 billion in reconstruction funds that Trump is said to be offering Kiev as the price for their withdrawal from Donbas and recognizing the territory as Russian in order to conclude a peace treaty…
..Finally, I mention that Kiselyov’s presentation of the Davos events showed Russia’s enormous satisfaction that Trump has shattered European arrogance and unity. Twice Kiselyov put up Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever’s statement in Davos that the Europeans have been utterly humiliated, his admission that they have been happy vassals and now face the ignominy of being unhappy slaves. https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2026/01/26/very-important-news-of-the-week-on-rossiya-1-that-you-have-not-yet-read-in-western-media/John Helmer’s take: AT WHAT POINT, CAPITULATION OF THE KIEV REGIME? CAN PRESIDENT TRUMP AND GENERAL GRYNKEWICH SAVE IT
At Abu Dhabi each of the Americans displayed open-neck, casual clothing. This dress-down Friday costume was a calculated insult to both the Ukrainian delegation – Rustem Umerov in uniform and Kirill Budanov in suit and tie—and to the Russians, Kostyukov and his second at the table, General Alexander Fomin. Kostyukov wore a dark civilian suit and a white collared shirt buttoned at the neck. But Kostyukov’s tie wasn’t tightly drawn. Was he sending the Russian Army’s message that it hasn’t reached the point of strangulation for the other side, yet?
The American signal was that they are dictating terms; that they retain escalation control over the Russians and they must capitulate, along with the NATO allies and the Zelensky regime. This is not the “coordinating” role which, after the two-day meetings concluded, Witkoff announced. “On Friday and Saturday, the United States coordinated a trilateral meeting alongside Ukraine and Russia, graciously hosted by the United Arab Emirates. Talks were very constructive, and plans were made to continue conversations next week in Abu Dhabi. President Trump and his entire team are dedicated to bringing peace to this war.”
Russian sources believe Witkoff’s stop to “this war” is no stop to the continuation of the war against Russia which the US, with the NATO allies, continues to escalate on land northward to Finland and Greenland; in the nuclear arms race in space; and at sea on all of Russia’s trade routes – the Baltic Sea through the Danish Straits, the Northern (Arctic) Route through the Bering Strait, the Black Sea through the Dardanelles, the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the Indian Ocean.
This larger peace is what Putin claims Trump agreed in the “understandings of Anchorage, Alaska” – the terms the two presidents discussed last August before Trump cut their meeting short and flew home. https://johnhelmer.net/at-what-point-capitulaton-of-the-kiev-regime-can-president-trump-and-general-grynkewich-save-it/#more-93252U.S Launches Multi-Day Air Defense Exercise Across Middle East as Iran Tensions Rise https://www.thedefensenews.com/news-details/US-Launches-Multi-Day-Air-Defense-Exercise-Across-Middle-East-as-Iran-Tensions-Rise/
