ParticipantWell, I JUST SAID Pretti should have got and used a sniper rifle if that’s where he was headed.
What Doctor were you reading?
And this morning, he’s been going out fully armed, violently attacking Feds all along. We have two cases on camera already.
“New Footage Appears To Show Alex Pretti Spit At ICE, Break SUV Tail Light In Prior Minneapolis Confrontation
Well, let’s see: brings a gun every day, to violently attack Federal Officers.
If only he had been arrested – on any of these charges – he’d have pled to a minor infraction, had no gun, and be alive now. Thanks Tim. You’re the Walz of stupid.
Since we have this, and his broken ribs, I wonder how many other felonies we have on camera?

It’s the American-Swiss army defense plan. Except the problem in Switzerland is, the government knows where all the public bunkers are. Not so here! We fixed that flaw.

ParticipantWES- phones have become people’s best friend, and a best friend would never lie to you, right?
I think the youngsters are catching on. I now see small groups of kids talking to each other- none of them with a phone in their hands. On another note: someone at ZH led me to this guy, Walter Hudson. Here is a thoughtful comment on his interaction with Somalians in Minnesota; here is one on rights with responsibilities, concerning Mr. Pretti.

Why do we keep killing our distant cousins?
Ask your A.I.(Humans are one species—but within that species, we create artificial boundaries that feel as real as biological ones. The tragedy is that the people targeted in war or genocide are our cousins in the most literal sense: genetically almost identical, culturally intertwined, historically connected.)

ParticipantInformation above my pay grade.
I, Old Microbiologist, notice a few key things always left out of any analysis of Iran’s situation. First is the very significant Fatwa issued after Trump demanded the death of Khomeni. This an all encompassing mandate that all Shia Muslims must defend the faith at all costs to themselves if an attack on Iran ensues. This means every Shia on Earth will become a suicidal attacker. The “Moharebeh” Decree (July 2025): Over 400 senior clerics in Qom backed a decree labeling threats against the Supreme Leader as Moharebeh (waging war against God). This essentially frames a verbal or strategic threat as a spiritual attack, justifying an immediate, “defensive” religious response. In the current landscape of 2026, the activation of the fatwa for the “defense of the faith” has moved from a theological abstraction into a direct operational mandate. Within Iran, the state views the recent waves of domestic instability not as a collection of disjointed protests, but as a sophisticated “Hybrid War” orchestrated by external actors. By framing the coordination between foreign intelligence and ethnic militias—specifically in the restless border regions of Kurdistan and Sistan-Baluchestan—as a preliminary phase of a larger U.S.-led invasion, the leadership has officially met the “condition of attack” required for a binding religious decree. The global dispersal of the Shia community amplifies these consequences. Because millions of followers from the Persian Gulf to the Levant—and as far as the diaspora in Africa and South Asia—view these fatwas as spiritually binding, the “front line” for the U.S. has become amorphous. An attack on Iran will unleash a response where every American will not be safe anywhere.
Second, no one seems to be mentioning Ted Postal’s analysis that Iran very likely has 10 nuclear weapons of the radial gun design and that these are small and light enough to fit into the hypersonic missiles as well as the Iskander-M missiles Russia has provided. Iran tested a new ICBM that with Russia’s permission landed in far Siberia and has a proven range far enough to hit the United States. Iran effectively is very likely now an equal to North Korea in this regard.
Third, Iran has 3 kilo class submarines which are the quietest submarines in the world dubbed “Black Hole” by NATO. All three sailed last week. Additionally, 32 smaller submarines also launched and all have disappeared. All of these have super-cavitating wire guided torpedoes that travel more than 200 km/h. The Iranians also have at least 3 converted tankers that are missile and drone launchers, one of which sailed by the Lincoln last week. Yes, they are old pieces of crap which makes them disposable and a cheap weapon. They also have built and mounted on an unknown number of container ships 40 foot containers that can launch anti-ship missiles, some containers contain 6 missiles. There is no way to identify these among the literally thousands of commercial vessels in the Indian Ocean. Also, the Iranian west coast of the gulf has hundreds of tunnels and most contain anti-ship missiles as well as over 300 speedboats. Iran has also developed semi-submerged drones similar to those the UK gave to Ukraine which have proven to be very effective.
Fourth, there are 7 B-21 Raiders as well as numerous refueling tankers sitting on the US base on Diego Garcia. There is zero air defense on that island and it is withing range of the container missiles as well as the ICBM’s Iran has developed.
Fifth – China ha snow put into production quantum radars and has a very effective passive radar system which only listens to ambient electronic noise looking for a hole in the noise. It is completely passive and undetectable. The quantum radars are un-jammable but are also somewhat limited in precision and range. But, their usefulness is to serves as a gate trigger which tells Iran an aircraft has passed the gate so they know where to focus brief radar bursts. China, Russia, and Iran have integrated their respective systems and all are now linked with buried fiber optics cables as are all the command and control centers. How good this works is going to be interesting.
But, the bottom line is Iran is pissed and is no longer playing along with Trump. There is no negotiations and no room for discussion. If the US even looks close to launching an attack Iran now has religious permission to strike first, which is legal under article 51 of the UN Charter. This is the ploy Israel and the US use to hit anyone they don’t like.
My personal best guess is Trump will back down. He can’t fight the combined resources assembled against him. He has zero support in the gulf nations as all of them have large Shia populations. As an example, Oman is 80% Shia and the Saudis 20%. They don’t have the capabilities to stop a religious war inside their own borders. Hence why they are refusing permission for the US to operate in their territories. Then we have the problem that the US hasn’t any legal reason for this. Even assembling the forces to threaten is an act of war and Iran understands this now completely. Playing nice didn’t work so now they have built up a force that as best as they can can damage both the US and Israel to a point it isn’t worth it. If the US loses as many as 5 Destroyers and 1 aircraft carrier and any B-21 Raiders at all, not to mention F-35’s then Trump is going to get crushed. Worse, gold yesterday hit $5380. This is because countries are abandoning the dollar in fear it is going down so fast they will lose billions. So, the race is on to dump the dollar. If it hits $6,000 all economists are saying this will crash the market as well as the dollar and the US dollar will become once again just another local currency. The BRICS will assume the lead as the reserve currency but mean while gold is the actual reserve currency. The Gulf states have stated that if Gold hits $6,000 they will completely end the petrodollar and only trade in gold payments.
If this becomes imminent then the only recourse the US has it to try and convince the world that the US is stable. This can only be done by invoking the 25th amendment. JD Vance would then have to fire all of his cabinet members and replace them with rational thinkers as proof of his resolve. This might not be enough but it could work but only if it happens before the crash. Can an Opus Dei Catholic do that? If they delay then I believe the economy will collapse and civil unrest unleashed. All we need is a charismatic leader from the opposition and the die is cast for a civil war.Posted by: Old Microbiologist | Jan 29 2026 8:01 utc | 365

ParticipantSo the price of gold signals to those who are in cash to spend it now.
I talked to a friend yesterday, and we were lamenting that young people don’t want our stuff. She mentioned she has silver from her grandmother, and her kids don’t want it. I asked her if she knew what silver was doing. I told her it was now selling for over $100/oz. She had NO idea. I usually have bloomberg on (with the sound off) during the day, and they rarely talk precious metals. TV nooz never does.
I suppose they all lost theirs in tragic boating accidents, so they don’t care anymore. ; )January 29, 2026 at 3:36 pm #229520my parents said know

ParticipantSo Pretti is a violent revolutionary. My father told me, “When you pick up a gun, you become a soldier.”
Okay, that’s fine. I totally understand and respect that. That’s a fully sensible and honorable reaction.
He went out, fully armed, to VIOLENTLY attack the police and Federal Government. Also cool. Who doesn’t? That’s EXACTLY what I would have told Paul Revere and the gang, who were SERIOUS people and not LARPing dips–ts.
But that means two things: One, he’s a completely passive, peaceful wee sacrificial lamb who is an innocent nurse and caregiver who never raised a hand in anger. OR:
He was a man who chose a side, picked up a gun, joined a multi-hundred men foreign-hired militia, to obstruct and violently expel the American Government from the State of Minnesota.
PICK ONE.
I’m fine with either! You choose to become a fox, the hounds chase you, or vice versa. That’s just the way things go. He can take up arms and shoot the Feds and I won’t cry. But the FEDS are then going to take up arms and shoot HIM too. That’s each of theirs job. I too, am a man, so I too, have a job.
My point is, he’s a travesty, a joke. The most piss-poor soldier I’ve ever seen, if my CO put him the the foxhole with me, I’d go AWOL before he gets me killed. HE DECIDED he was a soldier. Great!
And then he brought a gun in to shoot and stop Feds and he didn’t do it? Pick a side, man.No gun: Possibly peaceful, possibly protestor. Probably not, but I have to let you go. They did. Several (many) times now. Even with SERIOUS felonies.
Yes gun: Not peaceful, NOT a protestor. Guns, specifically handguns, essentially only exist to murder humans. That was his intent. Then at the last minute he choked and didn’t kill the enemy. Was he carrying the gun to spread mayonnaise or hammer nails? I argue no. He wasn’t there to kill protestors, aliens, or housewives. ONLY Police. It’s not a magic talisman, a tattoo, it’s a TOOL. We own the tool to use the tool. This tool kills humans.
Worst soldier ever. And worst protestor ever. Totally black-marks the Left, AND all peaceful protest. Everyone now assumes “Protest” = “Assaulting and killing people.” And that all leftists are unhinged.
That’s what Gandhi and Thoreau would have wanted, right?
“You’ll never take me alive, copper!!!” — Henry David Thoreau, to the Massachusetts tax police.

ParticipantThe so-called intelligence quotient “IQ” is a misnomer, which has led to much confusion and unnecessary misunderstanding. The tests don’t measure intelligence at all (such f-ing arrogant hubris to say that they do). The tests measure the ability to calculate abstract symbolic representations of reality, not reality itself. The only valid test of the actual intelligence is in comparison of the calculated answers or actions to reality itself. The closer the match then the higher the “intelligence” , and the more likely it is to work as expected in the real world. Wrong answers, no matter how fancy or laboriously arrived at, are not intelligent. They are the opposite of “intelligent”. They are stupid.
Intelligence is a sliding scale measurement of the capability and capacity to think correctly so as to match as closely as possible the actual conditions and truths of reality.
With that as a definition then I can unequivocally state with great certainty that the level of true intelligence can not exceed the level of awareness that evaluates its output..
That statement is a statement of one of the laws of the Universe. I didn’t invent it, write it or enforce it. I just see it plainly and follow it like the good law abiding citizen that I try to be.

ParticipantTo understand the implications and consequences of China’s Xi consolidating his power by arresting his #2 man (and the circle of powerful friends around him) this video is essential. The man that Xi arrested, top general Zhang Youxia, wrote a letter in anticipation of this event. It’s a letter to be seen and read only if he is arrested, which has now happened. The letter is marvelous. You will be a wiser person by the time you finish readi it. ParticipantNeville Roy Singham, a name I had not heard of til now….
Interesting theory
Isn’t it obvious by now that the seditious mischief roiling Minneapolis is some kind of a demonstration project for a China-backed overthrow of the whole country? This is not hard. And, apparently, the Democratic Party is either a willing accomplice or a hostage in thrall to its captor — like Patty Hearst, the heiress kidnapped and bamboozled by psychotic Maoist maniacs who styled themselves the Symbionese Liberation Army, until she was happily making bombs and robbing banks with them (and ended up in prison).
It is well understood that these ICE-Out riots are organized and funded by a network created by one Neville Roy Singham (American, b. 1954), now based in Shanghai.
Singham funds the Party for Socialism and Liberation, The Peoples’ Forum, Code Pink, the United Community Fund and a web of other money laundries that supply all the logistics for Lefty-left mobs going back to the George Floyd / BLM operations of 2020 and including the pro-Palestinian uproars of 2024.
Singham’s father, Archibald, was a Sri Lankan poly-sci prof at Brooklyn College, specializing in Third World revolution; his mother was a Cuban-born Marxist. Singham founded a software development company called Thoughtworks in 1993, and sold it to a London-based private equity firm, Apax, for $785-million in 2017, after which he devoted himself to the cause of “dismantling capitalism,” and destroying the USA.
If ever there was a James Bond villain come to life, it’s Neville Roy Singham. And then you have his perfect foil, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who visited China at least thirty times in his previous career as a teacher, his travel often funded by the CCP.
What was he up to there? I think we’re going to find out. We’re also going to find out what he has been up to in the state he supposedly runs, especially vis-à-vis the developing mega-scandal of billions creamed off taxpayers through the Somali fake social services fraud network.
It’s already known that some of that money found its way into Democratic Party coffers. How much of it landed in the bank accounts of Minnesota politicians and administrative officials? We’ll find out about that, too.
