NOW THAT YOU KNOW THE CODE: Government is a criminally destructive institution, especially when captured and supported by private banks. We must all cooperate to make government obsolete, as it has proven impossible to change. Get out of debt, off the public dole, build security and practice independence. And don’t engage in theft or fraud.

Bertrand Russell: “Power is the ability to produce intended effects”. There has certainly been deliberate intent from Greenspan, Bernanke, Congress, Supreme Court, central bankers…..

“So, the first and most basic axiom about power leads to the first and most basic axiom for those who don’t want to be under the thumb of power structures: no matter what the society, and no matter how benign the new system you hope to create appears to be in theory, there have to be rival power centers to keep power from congealing. Big Government or Big Religion or Big Political Party can be as dangerous as Big Capital.”

Where is the rival power? The two political parties appear to be joined at the hip (there is no great fighting going on). Big Capital usually gives equal amounts of money to each major political party, and are well served by this. Big Religion? Nope. There is no rival.

“The second basic axiom concerning power is that the powerful always try to create an outside enemy, real or imagined, to bind the followers to the leaders.” That’s always present; powerful propaganda machine.

“The third basic axiom is divide and conquer. If the followers are not faithfully bound to the leader by the dread of the outside enemy, then leaders can stay in power by favoring some followers and punishing others.” Reward the risk-takers; punish the risk-averse.

“Fourth, provide the followers with bread and circuses.” Check.

Hurray!! I am so glad you went back to your long page posts. I had left this site some years ago when you changed to a short page version of this blog. It was so ever very terribly convenient to have all the business articles in text on one page. It saved me tons of time. Wow! Editable comments and file uploads! It’s like heaven!

    MEGA FAUNA ECONOMIC THERMODYNAMICS.
    ►In 2008, China’s banks were worth 10 Trillion Dollars.
    ►In 2013 China’s banks were worth 25 Trillion Dollars.
►In just 5 years they grew a magical 15 Trillion Dollars!
►The entire 15 Trillion Dollar U.S. Commercial Banking System took 100 years to get to that size.
►The entire 15 Trillion Dollar U.S. Annual Economy (GDP) took 100 years to get that big.
►The China Bubble is the BIGGEST and FASTEST financial bubble in all of recorded human history.
►All bubbles burst as they drive gas prices higher and price spikes poke pin pricks in the bubble.
►This collapse will happen around the super-critical 2015 Paris climate negotiations rendering them useless.

    Why Is This Important?
    ► 90% of Lions gone since 1993.
► 90% of Big Ocean Fish gone since 1950.
► 50% of Great Barrier Reef gone since 1985.
► 50% of Fresh Water Fish gone since 1987.
► 30% of Marine Birds gone since 1995.
► 28% of Land Animals gone since 1970.
► 28% of All Marine Animals gone since 1970.
► 50% of All Vertebrate Species gone by 2040.
► Extinctions are 1000 times faster than normal.
► Ocean acidification doubles by 2050.
► Ocean acidification triples by 2100.
► 90 elephants are killed every single day.
► 2-3 rhinos are killed every single day.

    Why Is This Important?
MONEY = POWER = MONEY etc.
Energy conservation or efficiency doesn’t really save energy, but instead spurs economic growth and accelerated energy consumption. If Toyota built a car that got 200 mpg, sales would smash through the roof, and people would demand bigger vehicles.

    Here is the future.
    ► 1/100th watt = $1 of global economic activity.
    ► 500 megawatts = 1 average power plant.
► 600 megawatts = China coal use up every 10 days for 10 years.
    ► 500,000 megawatts = 500 nuclear plants for China by 2050.
► 25 billion megawatts = World power output in 2014.
► Each Day, C02 per megawatt of power increases.
► Every 4½ days, 1,000,000 new carbon users are born.
► How many windmills, solar panels and batteries will give us just today’s 25 billion megawatts?

    Why is This Important?
► Hadley Centre for Meteorological Research (2009): +4°C by 2060.
► United Nations Environment Programme (2010) up to: +5°C by 2050.

    Why Is This Important?
All the world wants 2 things, jobs and a liveable planet. We can’t actually have both without building a new nuclear plant every day to the end, according to Tim Garrett of Utah U, a guy who is seriously into economic thermodynamics.
We are on track to wipe out three-quarters of life on earth in 300 years ― at most. While solar and wind power are useful, we cannot afford the ecological cost of running all our mega cities on just that type of power. Too many heavy and rare-earth metals, along with conflict minerals, would be required. The smog from the graphite mines alone, used to make the rechargeable batteries, would choke the planet. Even liquid metal batteries are too big and unsustainable.

    Why is this important?
    Wind Turbines
The manufacture of 5, one-megawatt, wind turbines produces 1 ton of radioactive residue and 75 tons of hazardous waste water used to extract and process the needed neodymium. Neodymium is a rare earth mineral. Rare earth minerals are not rare, but they are found in very low concentrations. Neodymium is extracted from crushed rocks using sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Then it is processed using solvents, heating and vacuum techniques that require plenty of coal power. Vast unregulated tailings ponds of poisonous water have destroyed whole villages in China.

There are 16 other rare elements. All with the same story.

There is no known replacement for neodymium. During its mining, metals such as arsenic, barium, copper, aluminium, lead and beryllium are released into the air and water, and are toxic to human health. Neodymium is only one of many rare-earth metals that our smart phones and green energy systems need, and Canada is making efforts to mine them right now. While neodymium is not used in very small wind turbines, can you imagine how many small windmills would be needed to run a huge city like Toronto?

    Solar Panels
Each solar panel requires 4 tons of coal to manufacture them because the required silicon has to be baked for some time at 3,000°F. The manufacture of solar panels lets off some of the deadliest greenhouse gases known to humankind. These include hexafluoroethane (12,000 times stronger than CO2), nitrogen trifluoride (17,000 times stronger than C02), and sulfur hexafluoride (23,000 times stronger than C02). Solar manufacturing plants produce 500 tons of hazardous sludge each per year. This sludge is never included in the solar industry carbon footprint data. All shiny new electronic things are super-poisonous and deadly serious for all life on earth.

    Bio-Fuels
Bio-fuels are ecologically unsustainable. The crop mono-cultures are biodiversity deserts that increase soil erosion and have a myriad of unexpected consequences. Stand in a corn field and you will see nothing lives there, not even bees. 95% of food comes from just 30 crops. Food supplies are at risk going forward. We can’t cut trees for cars when people starve. Our foods and animals already dominate the planet. We are earth’s most invasive predators ripping all life’s diversity from her loins.

    Rechargeable Batteries
The rechargeable batteries we use in everything from the Tesla Electric Car, and Prius Plug-In Car, down to our smart phones, all rely on one critical component―graphite. Graphite is one of the main causes of the terrible air pollution in China. It comes from airborne particles given off by mining operations and often washes down from the sky with the rain. Graphite particles foul the air and water; they also damage crops and human lung tissue.
This type of smog has gotten so bad that China has shut down several of their graphite mines, creating a shortage and higher prices. Right now, Algonquin natives in Kipawa, Quebec are fighting Toyota over a rare-earth open pit mine planned for that area. Toyota wants that mine pit to make the batteries for its Prius. There is no such thing as a “green” car.

    Nuclear And Hydrogen Mitigation
Honda and GM teamed up to develop a solar panel that electrifies water to produce hydrogen under high pressure. This eliminates the need for a compressor, making it cheap and easy to fuel a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle. It takes 8 straight hours of sunlight to drive 35 miles — for now. Imagine if you add wind power? It’s still early days yet.

Hydrogen fuel cell cars are twice as efficient, more reliable, safer and easier to maintain because they have fewer moving parts. They are much lighter and also don’t require huge banks of expensive, unreliable batteries. New carbon fiber tank technology makes hydrogen storage safer and cheaper than ever. Even dynamite and gunfire won’t easily damage them. Sound too good to be true?

    HYDROGEN SAFETY
The Hindenburg disaster unfairly gave hydrogen a bad name. When it burned down, the visible flames were from the diesel fuel and aluminium oxide coating ( later used for rocket fuel ) that covered the ship. Hydrogen is more explosive than it is flammable. That is why it is so great a fuel. If you have a hydrogen leak it shoots straight up into the sky at 45 miles per hour, with no harm to the atmosphere. You don’t need to pipeline hydrogen very far, because it can now be made everywhere. NASA has developed extensive experience in the safe and effective handling of hydrogen.

Hydrogen is now easy, cheap, ultra-clean, plentiful and safe. It is no more dangerous than the natural gas system that surrounds you right now. Most people are not too afraid to use their barbecue. You can even cheaply and easily convert your current car to run with hydrogen, if you mix in a little flammable alcohol. Roy McAlister, of Nevada fame, has been burning hydrogen fuel in cars since the 1960s. He can tell you how.

Last May, researchers at the Delft University of Technology have successfully stored nearly five percent of solar energy chemically in the form of hydrogen. This is a major feat as the design of the solar cell is very simple and cheap.

“Basically, we combined the best of both worlds,” explains Prof. Dr. Roel van de Krol, head of the HZB Institute for Solar Fuels: “We start with a chemically stable, low cost metal oxide, add a really good but simple silicon-based thin film solar cell, and – voilà – we’ve just created a cost-effective, highly stable, and highly efficient solar fuel device.”

    What it Means.
Hydrogen is extraordinarily abundant in water. We will never run out. It is super clean, It’s all good, and we have to embrace the hydrogen economy right now to save life on earth. I’m not exaggerating.efficient and now cheap and easily accessible. We can create hydrogen gas directly from the sun.

    Nuclear Mitigation
The Chinese are building 500 nuclear reactors, regardless of our feelings. I know that’s inconsiderate of them, but they have to be controlled. In 40 years 80% of humanity will live in cities. There are about 20 megacities now, each with some 15-20 million people each. They cannot work without nuclear power. Even now, Mexico city already has 500 kidnappings per month. Poverty and power are related. It’s the regulation of old nuclear reactors and their waste that is the problem. 3G reactors can shut down without power or human intervention, and they produce less and safer waste. 4G reactors will burn 99% of the world’s nuclear waste, including depleted uranium munitions. It leaves much less waste, and a much safer waste. This is how we can clean up Fukushima. We can filter uranium out of ocean water for millions of years. It would be immoral to NOT burn our nuclear waste.

I’ve provided more hydrogen links, hydrogen.
Hydrogen is not a power source, instead, it acts like a super-clean, ultra-green, zero emissions energy battery.
Using enzymes to extract hydrogen from any plant material still produces a lot of C02.
A lot of green energy boosters do not like this stuff, probably because that’s how they make their living.

Why We Have To Go With Nuclear and Hydrogen

We have to reduce C02 80% in 40 years.
Solar, wind, bio-fuels and rechargeable batteries are too ecologically costly.

Catastrophic climatic heating will hit in 13 years. This tipping point does not mean the world will end on that day, but it does mean that runaway climate heating will be unstoppable and irreversible. This means you are already over the cliff and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Catastrophic cascading mass extinction collapse will hit in 30-40 years. Again, the world will not end the next day, but mass extinction will be unstoppable and irreversible meaning the only thing we will be able to do is to adapt to a hostile planet.

Cascading collapse leads to ecological planetary state shift devoid of basic planetary services like breathing and eating. The World Bank guy say we will be fighting for food and water in 5-10 years.

But, don’t worry yourselves about runaway climate and the end of most life on earth.
It isn’t the mass extinction collapse you have to worry about.
It is the pre-mass extinction collapse when the China Bubble bursts.

    Last post, I promise!

The LARGEST mass extinction event was the Permian event of 250 million years ago where 95% of all life on land and sea disappeared thanks to the hydrogen sulfide gas emissions from over-acidified oceans. It took 60,000 years to wipe out almost all life on earth. We are acidifying oceans faster than any time for 300 million years.
The FASTEST mass extinction event occurred 65 million years ago when the asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs. It still took as long as 33,000 years after the initial impact to finish them off. In geological time, this is considered instantaneous. We are on track to wipe out 75% of species on earth within 300 years, and probably much sooner. This is 100 times faster than the asteroid impact.

Here’s The Really, Really Bad Part
Ecological cascading extinction collapse is irreversible and unstoppable once it has started. This will lead to an ecological planetary state shift devoid of basic ecological services we take for granted, simple things like breathing and eating. No one knows when this ultimate final tipping point will be passed, until some time after we pass it. Reputable ecologists say likely in 30-40 years from now. Once again, it doesn’t mean the world will collapse the very next day, it may take decades or centuries, but by then, it will be too late to stop it, and too late to go back.

BeezleyBub – thanks for your passion! We do not realize that every time we gain (cars/central heating/blah, blah, blah), we also lose something (life). Thank you for your comments and links, which will take some time to digest.

There were 2 hunters out in the woods, when one of them collapsed. His friend saw he wasn’t breathing, he had no pulse and his eyes glazed over and were not responsive.
He called 911, the operator said, “Don’t panic, I can help you if you do exactly as I say. First of all, we have to be sure he’s dead.” There was silence, followed by a loud bang, when the caller said, “Okay, now what?” The following video link includes most of the sourced extinction data.
