Article from Feb, but it highlights the next big hurdle for Trump; can he ensure that the 9.2 trillion of debt that matures this year can be rolled over without the participation of countries he has alienated, such as China? If you fuck off countries, then you have to find new customers for your reference currency. I do not know what share of these maturing bonds are owned by China, or other “unfavoured” nations, I guess we will find out; warm up the money printers.
