The Australian Bureau of Meteorology got caught out cheating. They “corrected” temperature readings which went below 10C (14F). Luckily, their minister has “full confidence” in the BOM

In order to distract people and while pretending to do some something about it, they are replacing the weather stations. These weather stations are designed to work in places like the South Pole and the Outback. They measured the temperatures correctly and posted them online. Later, the software rounded up the readings. Nothing to do with faulty weather stations that need replacing.

Naturally, the media in Australia are taking hardly any notice of these events. They insist that last month, July, was the hottest “evah”. Total hogwash. Right now, we are having blizzard warnings in Victoria.

The readings were rounded up and discarded because readings 10c lower than the norm are considered “anomalous”. However, readings 10c higher than the norm are NOT considered “anomalous.” Discuss?

All data is being fudged – unemployment, price inflation, business optimism, growth, etc. Temperatures are just another parameter that is being adjusted to suit political purposes.
