The western world is in complete melt down. The emotionality is beyond anything I can recall; the possible exception being the demonstrations against the U.S. war on Vietnam.
Oh, the democratic convention of 1968 comes to mind as well.
I no longer recognise the place I came from; certainly no desire to return…
Kunstler’s statement that the U.S. is shedding its whole middle class is beyond refute; the evidence is everywhere for those willing to look.
There will be no swan song for the U.S.; by the time they’re a failed state; they will have alienated the planet; if not totally destroying it on the way down…
