” The 5% GDP target faced opposition from some NATO members. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said his country could not allocate one-fifth of its state budget to defense,”

One fifth! 5% is one fifth? Must be politician math.

@Red – ‘State Budget’ <> ‘GDP’. If the state is spending 25%of GDP (quite possible) then 5% of GDP on defence is one fifth of the (prior) state spending.

Thanks for that. Makes a bit of sense that way. The way it is presented in the article just didn’t make sense to my high school math abilities.

What do you mean by “Threatened”? Said words?”

“I Do not like Green Eggs and Ham, I do not like you Sam I Am.”

““As for Trump’s threat about “no more rocket launches, satellites” — referring to Musk’s company SpaceX — good luck following through on that. SpaceX is the reason the U.S. is leading the global space race..”

Why I believe this is nothing, just used to take more headlines.

Liberal people I know believe J6 was a merging of D-Day and the Lincoln Assassination. Millions were injured. Everybody died. Ask them.

“• Senate Passes the ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’-With 3 GOP Defections (Margolis)

    Miserable. No surprise.

“Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame,” Musk wrote on X. “And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do”

Go ahead, we’re all with you.

So they voted FOR illegals getting Medicaid when American citizens have no health care. Just like Ukraine. Got it.

“• Media Forced To Admit Trump’s Tariffs Are Working As Revenues Spike (ZH)

Economists wrong the 100,000th time in a row.

Glad that went easy. Appreciate it as we need it to change the funding structure in the U.S.

“• 1 in 5 Illegal Migrants Now Simply Flying Into Germany (RMX)

‘Cuz they’re so desperate poor and on the skids.

““If Netanyahu has any sense, he will let Trump rescue the Israeli people.”

I have heard Trump now has Nutsy by the balls. He did what he wanted, and Nutsy praised him on camera, now Trump’s leverage tips Israel politics, which are razor-thin. I’m not sure I believe that in the narrow sense, but it is said. Also He arranges Nutsy to retire a war hero, then there’s no more reason to invent a new war every 2 months, because he won’t go to jail. Also disagree with this, but political players only see 1) Want people to die 2) Want fewer people to die. If sending Bibi to prison kills 30,000 more people (mostly Gazans) was it worth it? What say you?

I say if we can’t make an example for justice we save those 30k and 100k are killed two years from now because of the example. That’s why we have prisons, not for criminals, but to dissaude OTHER criminals from trying.

“• AI Is The Only Thing Keeping The World From Total Stagnation – Peter Thiel (Flor)

Sure, but everything Thiel believes is wrong, that’s why he’s so off the path and ranting.

    1) All the science we know is bunk
    2) All the history we know is bunk
    3) That means the world is wide open to the new.

The world is a prison because you won’t ask “What is this door over here and why is it open?” Shut up, Beevis, only cranks point out where the Science doesn’t fit.

“the Democrats have him pegged as a guy who’s sort of sitting in the Cabinet meeting talking about how can we make billionaires richer.”

Saw this only this morning. Trump is using the office as self-serving money-making operation. After losing $4B right off the bat. Facts and Logic don’t matter if you hate enough. I can pop up and comment that for them, but it makes no difference, so why bother? It just annoys the pig.

Cooking: Clearly since everyone is living alone, men are cooking a lot.

A: No they’re not, you’re a poopy pants. They’re too incompetent to, and too irrelevant to think about, although I think about nothing but men and what they’re doing, saying, and thinking of me all the time.

Yeah, exactly. Men can be great cooks (obviously) but have a practical bent to get the best competent food out for the least effort. That may be mac n cheese, but are likely to up it with something the kids like. They don’t call it “from scratch”, being “Healthy” isn’t said because it’s only one of the parameters. They don’t faint on the couch and complain. It’s considered lesser, not helping, and not cooking bc it’s only going to be spaghetti or something, while the moms make the exact same thing but name it with more complication.

Going with efficiency, if they can get out of it, they will, calling it pizza night if it doesn’t go too far. The women will do reverse efficiency, attempting something far too complicated and new for their busy schedule, then be angry and martyred, husband and kids looking at her like she’s insane.

The Bottomline will dictate how far AI goes.

It might surprise a lot of investors up or down.

    Preliminary results suggest up.

“As AI tools become increasingly integrated—and in some cases, even mandated—into professional workflows, their real-world impact on productivity is becoming more evident.”

“Some of the largest gains came from highly technical or analytical tasks. For example, troubleshooting saw a 76% reduction in time, while critical thinking, programming, and technology design all showed over 70% time savings with generative AI.

Interestingly, even human-centric tasks—such as instructing, judgment and decision-making, and management of personnel—benefited from AI tools, with time reductions ranging from 60–70%.”

The wealth by generation chart is misleading. It compare cohorts by decade instead of by comparable ages. Beginning in 1990, the Greatest Gen would have been roughly 60 years old, the boomer would have been roughly 40 years old, the Millenials 20 years old, and Gen z still either unborn.or very young children.

Candace Owens (see post at top) has taken over an F claim that Brigitte Macron is a man.

This is a kind of ricochet, copy, of the ‘scandal’ that claims Michelle Obama is a man, never had 2 children, etc. (I won’t be adressing this claim here…)

The original story came from a man called Xavier Poussard, who publishes a print-only news sheet, very expensive to buy, and is doing very well.

Recently (but only since afaik 6 months) he has appeared on a few ‘talk shows’ on ‘alt media.’ (I saw one and wasn’t impressed.)

The meme however was taken up by 2 women who were hating on Brigitte Macron.

Amandine Roy and Natacha Rey (independent ‘journos’, use these names for any search) have both been condemned to big fines for — well it isn’t libel, or diffamation, but ‘false information’ or some combo thereof, the legal aspect is murky.

    Huff post in F:

    https://tinyurl.com/yc7r3nt4

The problem with the story is that Brigitte has 3 children, and they look like a perfect mix of her and her ex (now deceased), and none of the ‘conspi’ theorists have been able to account for where these children came from, as not being not children of Brigitte and her husband.

The best they did was to out a woman called Brigitte Auzière (same name as Brigitte Macron before her marriage to the F Pres) who was a regional councillor somewhere — this Bibi never had any children, and she and her husband have also won ‘damages’ for incorrect info, etc.

Men vs Women left to cook COMPLETELY from scratch. (Survival Island – male team vs female team)

Women starving, dying of dehydration but kept going through the repeated intervention of men. (despite being ackshully intrinsically superior hunters…)

Meanwhile, Men: “Thanks for the vacation!!!!”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzCO0G8AGLU

The show even DELIVERED “a bow drill set” directly to the women after they failed to re-light their fire for 48 hours. How difficult is a bow drill, the concept and the construction? You’re in the middle of a FOREST.

You have a team member who says she is a FORESTER. Can she not harvest a stick and some fibre? (She verbally established herself as the Forest Expert, demanded no one question her navigation, then led them in a circle for a day)

You self-selected to go on a survival show, nobody swooped in and kidnapped you randomly out of a downtown nail salon. It didn’t occur to you to practice making a fire BEFORE going? Was there some root unquestioned assumption that other people take care of things if you don’t? In EVERY team member?!??!?

They bragged, not only about being strong and independent, but of their superior communal system.

Male sleeping areas were separate – each built their own little space.

The women all slept close together in a single structure – holy #%& The Longhouse is real!!!!!

Before I go full misogynist, there could be other factors in play than sheer differences in sex. Perhaps the women tended to be in corporate, government, and NGO jobs that are part of the modernist managerial culture? …so that we’d see more of just an illustration of people being a product of their environment, which points back to the nature of most corp/gov/ngo environments?

Working in a corp environment myself, I can attest that it is paralyzing. A lot of people become accustomed to half-doing things because they make the assumption someone else will do the rest. Knowing how to shitcan the work is a highly advanced skill – I learned every trick in my decades in a corporate bureaucracy, I could always see when/how people were doing it. I used the sneaky methods, but for other goals. Mainly to get shit done under the radar.

There’s a culture in which, if the managerial class realizes you are sizing up situations, coming to conclusions, making judgments, and acting on your own judgments, then they appear to feel a sort of total all-encompassing existential horror. They are totally dependent on this HAPPENING and competently happening – it’s why you hire human beings for jobs instead of relying totally on a touch-tone phone tree to deliver customer service.

…yet year after year, anytime they saw individuals DOING things, they’d jump in to stop it. They’d require anything they could find HAPPENING to get supervisor approval. Then it occurred to them the supervisors were people apprehending, judging, deciding, acting.

…so they required that we go to the supervisors and then the supervisors would send a ticket to a department somewhere else in the world which we had NO way to communicate with other than sending the ticket. Checking memos on customer accounts, they eventually had to have supervisor approval within THEIR department to do anything.

I shit you not, this ACTUALLY happened.

And the other dept turned out to be in the Philippines – an outsourced call center. So you had executive escalation reps with 10-20 years of tenure with the company asking supervisors like children asking to go potty so the supervisors could send a ticket to Cebu in the Philippines for a foreign outsourced below minimum wage person to consult THEIR foreign outsourced below minimum wage supervisor what the fate of our American customer would be.

…to try to get the right outcome we already knew should have happened 4 levels below us in the escalation path 3-4 weeks ago. Back when it was a frontline care rep fielding the escalation to a lead… both of them in an outsourced call center in the Philippines. Precisely where the failure to resolve originated.

So maybe the type of jobs women self-select for… Even the Forester lady may have been more of a bureaucrat?

Anyway, scratching my head here, the only reason I can think to loudly bemoan women not living on hyperprocessed food anymore is that they wouldn’t be stuffed to the gills with endocrine disruptors and hormone mimickers, leaving just the birth control pills and SSRI’s to do all the heavy lifting by themselves.

    Official data reveals-

“99% of covid deaths were vaccinated”

    the real 99% effective…
9th circuit court ruled that the mandates were not legit for the military as the “vaccine” is not truly a vaccine (stopping transmission with any efficacy), but a therapeutic

The psy op is still in effect when the masses refer to it as a “vaccine” which they can then use as a blanket to refer to any opposition as “anti=vaccine” or “vaccine hesitant”. It is NOT and never was a vaccine. Nothing says safe and effective like FJB’s pardon of Fauci. They should both be swinging for crimes against humanity.

Leftists and Democrats have been spewing hatred towards trump and purebloods for how many years?
Republicans and righties have been spewing hatred back, most of it is legit.

    DOGE is the way.

The objections requiring detailed, metaphysically-considered decisions for each individual expenditure are exactly like the demand that each and every felon here illegally get a personal day in court. It’s solely for the purpose of keeping the scam going.

If you starve an organization for funds, you will discover that they don’t have the money to support a 20:1 ratio of administrators to people who actually do the thing you need. MAYBE they waste all the money you give them on tertiary things, but then they are naked, failed 100% to do the job instead of only 96% failed and they’re gone. They have barely enough money to scrape together the means to show something for it.

What need have I for a 0% successful thing? We need government for roads but we don’t need government for 0% roads and a bunch of road-administrators, unless we lay the administrators down on the ground to make a corduroy road.

The school declares an emergency. Needs a new massive bond. The roof is super old, needs replacement! Hurry, pay more taxes!

That’s called BUDGETING. You had a budget. You are a school, which before anything else is a building, the primary component of which is a roof. What did you spend the most basic component of your budget on rather than a roof?

The best application we could make of AI is continually find the managerial-class people who fuck everything up and, once identified, move them sideways into a do-nothing job, basically adult daycare, where they can do no harm.

It would be better to continue to pay them low 6 figures in important sounding positions, posting selfies with their frappuccinos, living their best lives and rendered totally harmless than what we have now.

There was a Bond for parks put to a vote – the things it was supposed to fund were the basic things the dept was getting a budget for — amazingly in Denver, the vote went NO

The large local park is surrounded by essentially a moat of ditches. After the vote, they removed all the wood from the bridges, denying everyone access to the park. The wood was in excellent condition before removal – they cited “maintenance” and the non-completion of the job as “shortage of funds”

So you budgeted a significant part of your remaining resources for bridge removal AFTER saying “oh no, we don’t have enough funds to do anything” and the no vote.

The obvious answer is to fire enough parks administrators to free up funding for the bridges.

And then keep firing administrators until we have few enough that they are too overworked with real tasks, no spare time to remove bridges, too stressed and busy to dream up new multimillion bonds to put us in further debt.
