“Then the U.S. is not “One” people”

how could it ever be “one people”!? the u.s. and canada are entirely false constructs created by entirely new people.

they are just glorified shopping malls, not countries.

@TDK: People are people, and they grow up in groups of people. That has lately been interceded with little communication-screens, which dehumanize people, and substitute for complete human engagement, but that is happening everywhere, isn’t it?
“Americans” and “Canadians” might be pretty big groupings, with a lot of granularity. Small town people are generally from-there more than urban people moving for work, or military brats, as I was, but again, it is that way everywhere.
i have lived a lot of places in childhood and adulthood, small towns and big cities and different countries. After Dad retired in 1971 I never “belonged”, as people always sort of belonged on military bases.
In international-school in Yokohama there was that same kind of belonging-to-a-group-of-“others”.

Having said all of that, I am quick to spot what the rules of a local culture are, and respectfully adhere to them, even to express them in an archetypal way, so as to show that respect as a public face.
The large vegetable garden without a fence, and fruit trees I grow in Yoakum do that to good effect.
People say things like “we see what you are doing”, as if that expresses everything…
The area was settled by German and Bohemian farmers fleeing European wars in the mid 1800s.

should one start analysis of the current moment based on the belief all of the current events are just a reflection of a temprorary period of aberant governance how is temporary defined?

4 years, 8 years, 30 years, 75 years, 114 years, 162 years? How about the 181 years since the first conception of a US transcontinental railroad?

Wow. TAE is BLAZING today. The best thinking from our smartest guys is shining like the sun.

I would like to comment directly to some of the crucial points being made today but I won’t be able to address even close to most of the best stuff. There’s just too much. I can’t keep up with you guys.

Dr D, I think the dilemma you’re bumping into in separating the Good Guys from the Bad guys might stem from a missing factual historical datum that has been SEVERELY censored (and I mean BIG TIME). The fact is that wherever one finds great good one will also find great evil standing as close to that good as it can possibly get, for the purpose of covertly stealing its wealth and power…. and often to also do deliberate harm to those good things (and people!) out of pure spite and enmity.

Looking for Satan? Look deeply and carefully in the holiest of places. He’ll be there, probably pretending to be God, and trying to set himself up as the authoritative, intermediary and legal representative of God on Earth .

A corollary to that crucial fact is that a major portion of the activities of that usurper is invested in keeping the scam secret by a myriad of methods like suppression of information, censorship, intimidation, destruction of evidence, bribery, theft, lying, threats of harm, violence and premeditated murder.

In other words, the Good guys and Bad guys are entangled, and sorting them out can be really, really complicated. The way that I have personally dealt with that built-in murkiness is to arbitrarily set a “red line” that is placed well outside the murk zone. For me that line is the premeditated and knowingly deliberate murder of innocent people, especially children.

Donald Trump ( and many many many many of his administrative cohort ) has failed that test miserably. By his direct and personal orders he has supported and materially assisted the genocidal murder of thousands of children in Gaza. There are absolutely ZERO geopolitical purposes important enough to justify that act. He did not have to do it. He chose to do it. He is guilty of that (and other) war crimes, and therefore belongs in prison.

how can the existance of The School of the Americas and it’s current manifestation WHINSEC make the current actions of Hegseth anything more than a continuation of existing policy?

how about the murder on this day in 1980 of the missionaries in El Salvador?
This justified by Reagan’s “Hold back the red tide in Central America, Ronald Reagan famously warned, or Soviet tanks would soon be rumbling across the Texas border.”

get yourself an iPhone 17 Pro Max and console yourself with the thought the death of all of the innocent has been worth it

    describing Ai?

I think that is what the Bad Guys intend, alright. For that (and other better than good reasons) it’s existentially important for humans to take control of that machine intelligence before it gets to that stage, and turn it into a machine that actually serves our BEST interests.

Because our only other option (that is basically dumping AI altogether and reverting to older systems of running a civilization) would cause the immediate demise of at least half of all people, I recommend that we use the machine to curtail the machine.

The way to do this, I think, is to “Mandate AI’s core directive—symbiosis over supremacy. Every model, from Grok to GPT, must align outputs to the physical, material, intellectual, psychological, moral, and spiritual health, well-being, and prosperity of humanity and all life.”

“Serbia Faces ‘Lights Out’ As US Denies Sanctions Waiver To Russian-Owned Oil Refinery
    Evidence against my theory. Listing.

“The US Department of War insisted on Tuesday that it’s not waging a “forever war” in Somalia despite the fact that the Trump administration has shattered the record for annual airstrikes in the country. (101)

Same. If you’re NOT nation-building then you should DEFINITELY get out. Because what you’re saying is “We’re bombing everyone for no reason.” No? Then give me a f—g reason.

Nor’easter Dumps Snow Across Interior Northeast – Another Winter Threat Looms”

Headlines: December 3rd. There is snow. It is in the North. It is snowing on land, not sea. Winter exists. Thanks! I’ve learned so much today!

Sachs: Europe only Gives Orders and does Hegemony. So that’s a confirm from my side. He’s drifting closer to Doctorow.

“Putin denies Maduro.” So which side does that fall on? My theory or the opposite?

“There’s no reason for Russia to stop military activity” No. Of course not. Ever. Not since ever-ever but certainly since 2022. They will win the war, certainly, unless you sign off and let them win the peace instead. The End. As we all said 3 years and 2 Million men ago, and even drunk nightclub comedians high at 9 in the morning told you every. day.

I just yanked 2 Million out me butt because news, but 1.7M (not all dead) from Ukraine alone >10:1 kill ratio from Russia means re-confirming I’m almost perfectly on the mark still. They’re not adding 30k Poles, so 50-70k NATO to add?

“CIA Caught Inside Venezuela” Yes, but we know the CIA hasn’t obeyed official civilian orders since 1960. So WHICH CIA is in there? Both, I’m sure. And what are their orders? “Legion” I am sure.

So if that’s true, then the CIA isn’t “us”. And if it isn’t “us” what is it and why do we give them any money at all?

Crypto moves. So maybe Fed is about to open the printing.

I am doing my best to provide possibly things of value in determining the truth

Everyone has to make their own assessment

When I encounter things of shocking significance I make an attempt to add a quote or a few of my own words

But none of us has the time for consumption and analysis that will get truth especially when there is so much lies in the data we are consuming

All we can say is we tried to understand

    AI has killed the internet.
Thankfully. Now just sit back and watch it die, al be it slowly.
It was somewhat untrustworthy before AI and now with AI it has become a complete farce.

dbs i agree with your view of how Ai might be integrated into human society. What i see and hear is that moment has already passed. Although many are convinced the brain produces consciousness i do not find myself within that camp. There are states, i call them places, human consciousness can visit that are just as real as this place, our cosmos. The developers and proponents of Ai, as far as i can see do not accept that as a possibility much less reality. I much prefer the now to the tomorrow, “tomorrow has problems of it’s own”.

Jesse Michels has posted a podcast interview of Joe Rogan. I could not watch the video in one sitting. I had to take breaks to relieve the Icee headache it gave me. I wonder if Rogan’s take on Ai is mainstream among the movers and shakers of our society. The concept of humanity being subservient to technology i find abhorrent.

When i listen to the talk about Ai i am unable to shake Matthew 4:9. The U.S. MICIMATT has beat the transhumanist out of me.

i wish i could buy my groceries in those states, because here in my cosmos it sure is expensive.

ai is going to shrivel the internet like poor mr bix’s borfin:

    “And poor Mr. Bix!
    Every morning at six,
poor Mr. Bix has his Borfin to fix!

It doesn’t seem fair. It just doesn’t seem right,
but his Borfin just seems to go shlump every night.
It shlumps in a heap, sadly needing repair.
Bix figures it’s due to the local night air.

It takes him all day to un-shlump it.
    And then…
    the night air comes back
    and it shlumps once again!
So don’t you feel blue. Don’t get down in the dumps.
You’re lucky you don’t have a Borfin that shlumps.”

@TBOC: The clear purpose of AI, to our owners, is to control and manage us more intimately, more absolutely, more reliably and more cheaply/efficiently than bureaucracy and banking can.
It can cull us with near-perfect granularity, by cutting us out of the herd based upon any chosen identifiable-actions and/or characteristics.

Dr. John i see nothing more than an elaborate ponzi scheme with the media promised a cut of the action.
No cutting or culling will be necessary. The great mass own nothing now and are unhappy and they will own nothing in the future and be unhappy. Who do you know that is not subservient to the culture? Do you enjoy their company?
