Dr. D we do not know the actural number of NATO aligned troops in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. All of the troops in Ukraine whether Ukrainian nationals or imports were part of the NATO aligned force. Last month, I was busy prepping the mainland garage, where we park our car, before heading over to our cottage by boat, to install steel siding. I stayed with my son at his rented house as we closed the cottage in early November. The women headed home to the city.

I frankly admit that I have underestimated Trump’s capacity for duplicity that he has used to outmaneuver his opponents abroad in the EU, in Ukraine and at home in the USA, on Capitol Hill and in the media.
I have no doubt that Team Trump are behind the corruption investigation raid on the home of the power behind the throne in Kiev, Andrii Yermak, who was forced to resign late today. The fall of Zelensky on corruption charges cannot be more than days away.
Accordingly, I must revise my views on what happened at the US-Ukraine meeting in Geneva at the start of the week that produced a revised 19-point plan to suit the Zelensky gang which we were told would be foisted on the Russians. No, that was pure political theater and we may assume that the original 29- point plan developed jointly by Steve Witkoff for the American side and Kirill Dmitriev for the Russians will be the basis for the renewed US-Russian talks on ending the war that likely will take place next week in Budapest chaired by Trump and Putin.
This is all happening with blinding speed that has left the Trump’s opponents speechless.
However, one European leader did have something to say in the past day that also contributes to the foreseeable political collapse of Ukraine and possibly to the collapse of the war mongers who dominate present European politics. I have in mind the Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever who rejected von der Leyen’s insistent promotion of confiscation of frozen Russian state assets held in Euroclear now not only because of financial risk that the confiscation will be reversed in court challenges by Russia that will follow but, more importantly today, because the confiscation would work directly against the ongoing peace negotiations. Drone Combat:
The concept of frontline combat has completely changed from anything we ever knew before.
It only takes a few men now to hold an area, where once hundreds/thousands used to.
In addition, a clear line of contact, now no longer exists.
Now, the front can be many kilometers deep, like in 5 to 25 kilometers or more, deep!
The frontline is now controlled by a few drones operators, not troops in trenches!
That is why Ukraine is still able to defend, despite being short infantry and no armor/artillery.
So, how do the Russians work? First, their drone operators infiltrate and then seek out and destroy Ukraine’s drone operators. Then 2 or 3 Russian infantry infiltrate the Ukrainian front lines mopping up any remaining resistance. House to house fighting is now done with drones! No vehicles nor armor are being used!
Ninety percent of Ukrainian casualties now occur behind the front lines! It is trying to move towards the front that has become so deadly! If anything moves, it gets attacked, immediately!
Russia simply has more drones than the Ukraine! With more drones, Russians prefer to attack cities by infiltrating using the buildings as cover from Ukrainian drones!
Russian infantry simply don’t infiltrate the Ukrainian front lines until they have drone dominance in the air.
So, where once a trench defined the front line, now the front line is many kilometers deep! That also makes the old idea of the front line collapsing, obsolete!
