Participantyou’ll talk about “black on black” crime and “thuggery”,
yet are obsessed with choosing just the right people to go around the world killing in your name (but will never acknowledge) so you can live a comfortable life provided for in large part by that killing or its threat, all so you can prattle on about people’s hair style or dei anything, enjoy that nice trip to somewhere the empire owns, and basically live unafraid that your home will be turned into an enriched uranium melanoma blighting the face of this blessed orb.
enjoy your death machines. they don’t kill people, ideologies do.

Simplicius, Russian Vise Tightens as West Dawdles and Dallies with “Ceasefire” Sham
To encapsulate: Russia is advancing in their war of attrition, growing stronger, as Ukraine goes weaker, and insists upon demilitarization and de-Nazification of Ukraine, as well as recognition of Crimea and 4 Novorossiyan oblasts as part of Russia.
Ukraine is not yet at the point of capitulation, and concedes nothing, not even Crimea.
The US has made a “final offer” to cease-fire now, and then negotiate, which would allow re-arming of Ukraine and training of new Ukrainian forces, which Russia will not allow. Russia will press the advantage until a final-status deal is on the table. A final-status deal will include a new European security framework to meet Russia’s needs, not merely the desires of NATO. Sergey Lavrov keeps saying the same thing and “you’re not listening”.
Russian preparations are being made, apparently with American understanding, to impose a government upon whatever the Ukrainian rump-state will be during reconstruction. Personnel considerations are underway. Trump says Russia’s big concession is “to not take the whole country”.
Putin has announced 3 day ceasefire for May 9, Victory Day [Russia lost 26 million citizens to win WW-2.] and Zelensky has immediately rejected it, calling for 30 day ceasefire now, for Ukraine to re-trench and re-supply. That makes Ukraine/Zelensky look not-desirous-of-peace. Point: Russia.
Not mentioned here is that The “minerals deal” between the US and Ukraine has not yet been agreed-to or signed and is almost certainly precluded by the 100 year partnership treaty between the UK and Ukraine, signed January 16. The pretend negotiations continue. This ultimate failure may give Trump an excuse to drop Ukraine, or if Ukraine does sign something, it removes banking-collateral from the Bank of England, which could precipitate a crisis.
There is a cool video of a nuclear-powered US aircraft carried doing high-powered “drifting” evasive maneuvers at sea (without any airplanes on deck).
The must see video is of North Korean elite forces in live-fire training, then embracing and and holding up a Russian flag and a Company flag after retaking a Russian town in Kursk. These are fast, strong, fit, and agile crack-troops that seem to be very steady with their weapons in all conditions, and practice shooting down drones with shotguns while on the move. https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/sitrep-42825-russian-vise-tightensAs would I… Lavrov claims Kiev wants ceasefire to halt battlefield losses https://swentr.site/russia/616513-lavrov-outlines-kiev-indefinite-ceasefire/

Participantreally hitting that amygdala

this person should not have been in the military because there should not be a military.
killing is not normal.
no other animal is so stupid.
aren’t you embarrassed that you talk of these things as if they are “normal”?
Are you at all actually familiar with animals, sir? You are alive, sir. You exist physically, in real actual reality. You are a human, a primate, a hominid, an animal.
You have a particular nature – this nature excludes all other possible OTHER natures.
You exist in A reality – this precludes all OTHER imaginable and non-imaginable realities. It too has a nature which precludes all other natures not of its own. And just to make clear, it exists in actually, actually existing, physically existing reality, as do you.
Nations without a military cease to be nations. This is and has always been in the nature of all known reality and there is no alternate reality which you and I have access to where this is not the case.
I remind you, you are a human with a physical existence and humans have a particular nature, which precludes having natures not their own.
Human beings live, exist, in organized groups – families, tribes, clans, nations, cultures. They organize. They are social. They organize around nations. This is how they cooperate, how they accomplish things, how they live. This IS normal human existence. It corresponds to normal human nature. Nations collapsing are understood to be calamities, accompanied by suffering, death, and other misfortunes — it is in the nature of reality for this to be the case FOR humans and it is in human nature for this to be so FOR them.
As humans exist in nations and nations cease to exist without a military, you are like some hollywood villain, who first uses a mind control ray:
“Expire! Die! Destroy yourself!” and the victims DO
…but in the last act, Our Plucky Heroes remove the battery, the flux capacitor, reverse the polarity, or whatever, and in the final act, when all hope is lost, so that when the villain does the same thing:
“Expire! Die! Destroy yourself!”
an ending much like the end of Superman 2 unfolds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3gJGuQQPnw
NO military > no nation. This is an anti human concept hostile to human life. Dead people don’t post ideas to the internet. You are not dead. You are still posting these ideas.
(would a socialist visiting the US advocate for No Military, then go home to the USSR and never, ever advocate for No Military – exactly. Would they say WHILE in the US “oh, no no, I am evenhanded! I am totally for ALL nations giving up militaries” …and then NOT advocate for No Military in the USSR when they get home – absolutely!)
These ideas are FOR OTHER PEOPLE, not for you. Clearly. Just like the “Self Defense Has No Home Here” yard sign is for other people.
They are for OTHER people to believe and for YOU to espouse.
This is not discussion – this is deployment of a cognitohazard.
Ergo, whatever unspoken idea motivates the attempt, doing harm via cognitohazard is seen as more pragmatically useful than expressing the actual idea – ergo it’s a garbage idea, not compelling based on its own persuasive value.
“you shall have no nation” I get it. What’s the opposite of having a nation? Is it something like… Globalism? Internationalism?
Certainly the US defense budget should be cut in half. Then cut in half again. Whatever remains should then do an interview with the Bobs to explain “what exactly do you do here?”

Really? Trump Vows US Won’t Exit Ukraine Peace Negotiations After Vatican Meeting
US President Donald Trump has pledged to Estonian President Alar Karis that the United States will continue its participation in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, according to Estonian public broadcaster ERR. https://united24media.com/latest-news/trump-vows-us-wont-exit-ukraine-peace-negotiations-after-vatican-meeting-7895Ukraine won’t win – Vance
“Sometimes you’re incredibly frustrated with Ukrainians. Sometimes you’re incredibly frustrated with the Russians,” Vance said. “And sometimes you just want to throw your hands up, but that’s what President Trump doesn’t let us do.”
Vance’s remarks came as Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian troops would observe a three-day ceasefire starting on May 8 to commemorate the Soviet Union’s victory over Germany in World War II. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky responded by accusing Moscow of “manipulation” and called for an immediate 30-day ceasefire.
According to Russia, Ukraine violated both the 30-day ‘energy truce’ brokered by the US last month and the 30-hour Easter truce, despite having promised to respect both arrangements. Putin has argued that in order for a comprehensive ceasefire to succeed, Ukraine must halt its mobilization campaign and the West must stop delivering weapons to Kiev. https://swentr.site/news/616463-vance-ukraine-will-not-win/April 30, 2025 at 6:34 pm #187121John Day
ParticipantThe explanation of the Spanish and Portuguese grid failure Monday, describing atmospheric conditions as the cause, struck me immediately as incompatible with what appeared to be a sudden huge induction of current in high voltage transmission-lines, implying action in the global electrical circuit, but there was not a coronal mass ejection or unusually high plasma stream at the time, which would readily explain it.
My NASA friend, Mel says NASA has been warning (not the public) about these “wormhole” conductive anomalies suddenly arising, to exactly this effect. There will be more of this. Will it be openly disclosed?
Red caught Ben Davidson’s live broadcast Monday evening, which I summarize here:
Official explanation is “only half a lie”.
Ben is showboating, taking his time to get to the point, sigh…
He gets more coherent at 7:00 minutes. 7-10 minutes gives the explanation.
“This was a weak spot in Earth’s magnetic field, which allowed a solar wind plasma penetration” that shot down to the high pressure area over Europe, making a “flash” Ben can see , but we don’t have that screen…
Magnetic poles on Uranus and Neptune happen to be shifting right now, according to the James Webb telescope…
We could have a Carrington event any day. “You need to be prepping yesterday.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYuPQ2NbkwA&t=7sWill they be able to mention the global electric circuit? Power is back on in Spain and Portugal, but questions remain about Monday’s blackout.
Spain’s electrical grid was running as normal until 12:33 p.m. (6:33 a.m. ET) when, suddenly, it suffered a disturbance.
Eduardo Prieto, the director of services for the grid operator Red Eléctrica, said the grid recovered after that first shock. But a second disconnection, one and a half seconds later, caused “a degradation of operating variables” of the system, leading to a “massive generation disconnection” and “disconnection of the connection lines with France.”
In the space of a few seconds, 15 gigawatts of energy suddenly dropped from Spain’s supply, Spanish government sources told CNN – equivalent to 60% of the electricity being consumed at the time – and the entire Spanish grid collapsed as a result. https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/29/europe/what-caused-spain-portugal-blackout-explainer-intl/index.htmlWhat caused the blackout in Spain and Portugal and did renewable energy play a part?
Some initial reports suggested a “rare atmospheric phenomenon” may have been to blame, citing a statement attributed to the Portuguese grid operator REN… However, the weather in Spain was normal on Monday. On Tuesday REN denied it had been responsible for the statement, but did not give further details…
..“The nature and scale of the outage makes it unlikely that the volume of renewables was the cause, with the Spanish network more often than not subject to very high volumes of such production.”
The Spanish grid operator said on Tuesday that there had been two events akin to loss of power generation followed by a massive loss of renewable power, which had destabilised the grid. They said it was “very possible” the first of these events was a sudden loss of solar power. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/apr/29/what-caused-the-blackout-in-spain-and-portugal-and-did-renewable-energy-play-a-partToday there is still no mention of the anomalous opening of a current flux in the solar-wind current flow from the sun over Spain & Portugal.
What we know so far about the massive blackout that hit Spain and Portugal
About three hours before the outage, power quality sensors in homes in the Madrid area showed warning signs of an unstable grid – there were small fluctuations in voltage around 9:30am local time, Whisker Labs CEO Bob Marshall said Tuesday. The Maryland-based software developer has a couple of dozen sensors in homes in and around Madrid, testing the technology for use in Europe for home fire prevention and grid monitoring.
Instead of normal, steady voltage, Marshall said the data shows there were oscillations whose frequency and magnitude increased over the next three hours until the grid failed. He does not know what caused the instability.
Around noon, there was a big jump in the magnitude of the fluctuations, with the voltage measured going up and down by about 15 volts every 1.5 seconds, Marshall said.
“The way I would interpret our data,” Marshall said about Monday’s events, “is that the grid is struggling. Something’s wrong. And it’s showing increasing signs of instability”. https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20250430-what-we-know-so-far-about-the-massive-blackout-that-hit-spain-and-portugalCelia Farber is in Spain. During his trip, Ben-Gvir faced pro-Palestinian chants at multiple locations, as shown in videos circulating on social media platforms.

While Ben-Gvir mentioned meeting US Congress members in his posts, he, however, didn’t say that he met any official from the US administration.

Land vs. Ocean, Observations vs. Models and the Official Narrative
The data focuses on global precipitation—how it has changed over the past forty years, especially during the anomalously warm year of 2023. The narrative aspect is about how these changes align with expectations from global climate models, and how reporting differs when models agree or disagree with observed data…
..Stating clearly that the observed trends in global precipitation do not conform to climate models is important. As we have seen in “We are losing soil moisture, why?”, a decline in precipitation over land is consistent with independent assessments of soil moisture stores—and would be incompatible with the rising precipitation projected by the models. Also, a relative reduction in precipitation by 1% due to reduced transpiration (as compared to the pure CO2-driven warming) can result in significant additional global warming, as we have discussed in “Global cooling from plant transpiraton”. https://bioticregulation.substack.com/p/whats-happening-with-global-precipitationApril 30, 2025 at 8:05 pm #187127April 30, 2025 at 9:19 pm #187128Michael Reid

If I were Putin, and the consensus is that I am NOT, I might agree to start a 30 day ceasefire on May 8, and to continue it as long as Ukraine mostly honored it, specifically until Ukrainian violations exceeded #100, or to declare it void for one big long range missile attack, such as on Victory Day ceremonies.

ParticipantADDRESSING CERTAIN TARIFFS ON IMPORTED ARTICLES
Executive Orders
April 29, 2025By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.), section 604 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended (19 U.S.C. 2483), section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, as amended (19 U.S.C. 1862), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, it is hereby ordered:
Section 1. Purpose. The United States has imposed tariffs under various statutory authorities and through a number of Executive Orders and proclamations to protect national security and address unusual and extraordinary threats to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. Although each of these actions, as listed in section 2 of this order, serves separate and distinct policy purposes,I ha ve now determined that, to the extent these tariffs apply to the same article, these tariffs should not all have a cumulative effect (or “stack” on top of one another) because the rate of duty resulting from such stacking exceeds what is necessary to achieve the intended policy goals. To avoid the cumulative effect of overlapping tariffs on certain articles, this order sets out the procedure for determining which of multiple tariffs shall apply to an article when that article is subject to more than one of the actions listed in section 2 of this order.
Sec. 2. Applicability. This order shall apply only to the administration of tariffs imposed through the following actions and subsequent amendments to those tariffs:
(a) Proclamation 10908 of March 26, 2025 (Adjusting Imports of Automobiles and Automobile Parts Into the United States);
(b) Executive Order 14193 of February 1, 2025 (Imposing Duties To Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Northern Border), as amended by Executive Order 14197 of February 3, 2025 (Progress on the Situation at Our Northern Border), Executive Order 14226 of March 2, 2025 (Amendment to Duties To Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Northern Border), and Executive Order 14231 of March 6, 2025 (Amendment to Duties to Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Northern Border);
(c) Executive Order 14194 of February 1, 2025 (Imposing Duties To Address the Situation at Our Southern Border), as amended by Executive Order 14198 of February 3, 2025 (Progress on the Situation at Our Southern Border), Executive Order 14227 of March 2, 2025 (Amendment to Duties To Address the Situation at Our Southern Border), and Executive Order 14232 of March 6, 2025 (Amendment to Duties to Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Southern Border);
(d) Proclamation 9704 of March 8, 2018 (Adjusting Imports of Aluminum Into the United States), as amended by Proclamation 9980 of January 24, 2020 (Adjusting Imports of Derivative Aluminum Articles and Derivative Steel Articles Into the United States), and Proclamation 10895 of February 10, 2025 Adjusting Imports of Aluminum Into the United States); and
(e) Proclamation 9705 of March 8, 2018 (Adjusting Imports of Steel Into the United States), as amended by Proclamation 9980 of January 24, 2020 (Adjusting Imports of Derivative Aluminum Articles and Derivative Steel Articles Into the United States), and Proclamation 10896 of February 10, 2025 (Adjusting Imports of Steel Into the United States).Sec. 3. Non-Stacking of Tariff Measures. (a) Notwithstanding any provision of any action listed in section 2 of this order, tariffs for articles subject to tariffs under the actions listed in section 2 of this order shall apply as follows:
(i) An article subject to tariffs pursuant to the action listed in section (2)(a) of this order shall not be subject to additional tariffs on that article pursuant to the actions listed in sections 2(b) through 2(e) of this order.
(ii) An article subject to tariffs pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(b) or 2(c) of this order shall not be subject to additional tariffs on that article pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(d) or 2(e) of this order.
(iii) An article subject to tariffs pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(d) of this order shall be subject to additional tariffs on that article pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(e) of this order, provided the article otherwise satisfies all conditions necessary for application of those additional tariffs; likewise, an article subject to tariffs pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(e) of this order shall be subject to additional tariffs on that article pursuant to the actions listed in section 2(d) of this order, provided the article otherwise satisfies all conditions necessary for application of those additional tariffs.
(b) Subsection (a) of this section shall not be construed to diminish the validity of any action listed in section 2 of this order. Each action listed in section 2 of this order remains independently valid and enforceable, except that the duty rates provided by these actions shall not be cumulative when the conditions outlined in subsection (a) of this section are met.
(c) If an imported article is subject to both a tariff imposed pursuant to subsection (a) of this section and one or more tariffs imposed pursuant to an action or actions not listed in section 2 of this order, then the tariff imposed on the article pursuant to subsection (a) of this section shall be cumulative with the tariff or tariffs imposed pursuant to the action or actions not listed in section 2 of this order.Sec. 4. Non-applicability to Other Tariff Measures. (a) Nothing in this order shall be interpreted to alter or limit the application of any duties, taxes, fees, or exactions other than those imposed pursuant to the actions listed in section 2 of this order.
(b) Accordingly, an article that is subject to duties pursuant to an action listed in section 2 of this order may still be subject to other applicable duties, taxes, fees, exactions, and charges, such as, but not limited to, those set forth in column 1 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS); duties imposed pursuant to section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended; duties imposed pursuant to Executive Order 14195 of February 1, 2025 (Imposing Duties To Address the Synthetic Opioid Supply Chain in the People’s Republic of China), as amended; and antidumping and countervailing duties.Sec. 5. Implementation. ICYMI: President Trump’s Largest Tax Cut in History
The White House
April 30, 2025
Last night, President Donald J. Trump renewed his call for Congress to pass the “one big, beautiful bill” and once again deliver the largest tax cuts in history to the American people. In addition to finally exempting tips, overtime, and seniors’ Social Security from taxes, here’s what else that means:
Real wages will go up by as much as $3,300/year.
Take-home pay for median-income households will increase by as much as $5,000/year.
Short-run real GDP will be boosted by 3.3-3.8% and long-run real GDP by 2.6-3.2%.
4.1 million jobs will be saved.May 1, 2025 at 12:16 am #187141Michael Reid
ParticipantMy Spider-Sense tells me life is about to change in the west. I do not know if I am right but my soul is more aligned with the states. Living in Canada, I feel sad we have a globalist government that will lead to our death (I do not believe in Canada any more). I would rather work with the states to make a beautiful world here. We share a common culture and language.
Most of the people here are zombies but I may be wrong. So sad life has transformed from a beautiful dream into a nightmare.
The more I learn the less I know.
I am thinking the government is not your friend.
I know nothing. I wish I knew someone with the correct answers.
Whatever, death is moving fast and approaches my elderly family.
All things come to an end whatever the cause.

ParticipantArticle I, Section 8, Clause 12:
[The Congress shall have Power . . . ] To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years; . . .
seems like some folks think a military isn’t such a good idea, after all.

ParticipantMPSK,
I’ve used those stainless steel zip ties before, great for certain uses. But stainless steel wire can be stronger, longer, and cost less. ($8.99 from Harbor Freight for 1 pound spool of 0.041″ diam., reportedly over 200′ with more tensile strength than those zip ties). Like baling wire that doesn’t rust, many uses.
