During the COVID experience, I discovered to my surprise that I was able to wade through all the baloney better than almost everyone else. https://iurierosca.substack.com/p/total-war-and-spiritual-insurgencyThe more men and material that Ukraine pours into their Kursk offensive incursion then the more men and materials Ukraine will lose (forever) because no matter how slowly Russia responds it is a response that is multiple-times bigger, with multiples more firepower, etc. Long story short, Ukraine grinds to a halt in the middle of a meat grinder, with no hope whatsoever of accomplishing anything other than a costly and humiliating defeat.
This basic scenario has already played out MANY times , over the course of the war so far That’s why it is called a war of attrition.
The so-called Kursk incursion made great PR headlines for Ukraine for the first few days and will now make horrifying headlines for Ukraine over the next few months until Ukraine becomes unwilling or unable to continue losing men and equipment inside the Russian meatgrinder and eventually withdraws.
This is getting more than old. It’s getting predictable.
When Ukraine DOES withdraw (or it’s Kursk-committed forces are simply annihilated and/or captured) then Russia moves into Suny because Ukraine won’r have any forces left to defend that major city (having squandered them all in its hopelessly foolish PR stunt around Kursk.)
Same old same old.
