This is why it’s a State-ordained and mandated religion. We are, as the Leftists feared, now a Theocracy. This is one reason they cannot allow “religious exemptions”, because the definition of a “Theocracy” is intolerance toward competing religions.
And as I usually, say, universal intolerance in general. Because religions, such as we define them, really Churcheologies, cannot freely debate in the marketplace of ideas and win over adherents. They are systems of belief, meaning they are essentially or foundationally illogical and irrational. Scientific Materialism is no different in this, because any idiot can, and does, ask “Hey dude, (puff) what about consciousness?” Poof, they haven’t the faintest idea, it can’t be measured and touched, and all experience in the universe is based on or interacts with it. Likewise, “Emotion”, “Time”, “Gravity”, “Matter”, and so on. So it requires a belief in a “Tiny Rocks”, clockwork, meat-mind, material-based religion that must and does exclude nearly everything of importance in life. Everything that drives life. …But they’re pretty good at material sciences, like plastic packaging.

Yes, it is based on intolerance and oppression instead of persuasion. This has been the coming and going of Christian revivals, despite shrill, ignorant, completely uneducated, squawking to the contrary. Tent Revivals come through when the conditions are right and have converted people. And…funny, they did not come armed with their many rifles, put the converts in a ditch and make them obey. Yet they converted. Using words and persuasion. Then the wave would last a while til that generation passed. This new State Religion, BY the State, FOR the State, behaves differently. You take the baptism and rites, you wear the veil OR WE’LL TAKE YOUR KIDS AND THROW YOU IN PRISON.
Love in its highest form, I’m sure.
But the point is, it can’t hold together because the glue is INSIDE peoples’ hearts and minds and can’t be enforced from without. That’s the same mistake they make with governments, best exemplified in schools where they propose, — not make you not assault and harass people, fellow students, BUT TO MAKE YOU LOVE THEM. They point a gun at you and think it will open your heart. Big Brother demands not physical complaince, but Mental, Emotional, compliance, true love for the State and Great Leader. But that cannot be extracted or enforced, so they feel empty, the people, the other children will not love them, even if they MAKE them. Threaten to KILL them. How much worse is that? Can’t even get love and fill their hearts, finally find what they crave and need in that most extreme way.
I can, judges, courts, policeman can, make you not assault people, (or not really, they can appear later with a stern look and a mop bucket) but they can’t create love, charity, forgiveness, and cooperation.
It’s been in the news this week that San Francisco is the worst city in the Union, comparable to the worst cities on earth. They FINALLY NOTICED it’s not poor toothless people in Kentucky and Louisiana doing it to them. There are Democrats at local, city, county, State and even Federal level, all with big ideas and essentially unlimited funds. Every time they act, things get worse, usually by AWFLs, Affluent White Female Liberals, AGAINST Blacks and people of color, SanFran being the Flagship example. As both income disparity and racial disparity is worse everywhere they are.
But this is the reason why. And why Socialism doesn’t work either. As Athistic Materialists, they keep fiddling around with THINGS, while the change that needs to happen is in the HEART, the mind, the not-”things.” That’s a religious movement, a movement of the heart, connecting to the source that inspires self-sacrifice – which they do attempt and try, in words anyway – but of actions contrary to the Ego.
So I never doubt the intent and impulse is GOOD. It’s just that in about 30 days you’ll know what you’ve tried isn’t working. So this week’s internet is pointing out that “Florida has terrible politics and policies and a hateful deadly governor” but “I, a liberal from California am moving there anyway”…and leaving the homeless back home to die or something, who cares. How can you say the policies or approach of a place are terrible if theirs works and yours causes immense intractable misery? Everywhere, and everywhen, it’s been tried? ‘Cause they’re AWFL, as in “Affluent” and don’t have to get involved. They’re the ones home in their pajamas on a laptop. Pajama-boy made real.
Making things is harder than breaking them. There’s also a wing that wants to “Burn it all down”. To “Build Back Better” according to their own image, like Fauci, of a picture they have of themselves hanging on their own office wall. Well, I don’t want to give the “building and running” to people who have an expertise in burning and breaking. That’s a different skillset.
The thing with HELPING people, for real, is that it’s a VERY SENSITIVE, very touchy, very personal, very hazardous, very humbling thing. It can only be done one-on-one, person to person interconnection, to really get to KNOW that person, or to know each other really. And to give them that front room of your house, knowing they will probably rob you, and they will. And then over various breaks, setbacks, addictions, heartbreak, they do – or don’t – find their own strength to build a new pattern FOR THEMSELVES, not one you might advise or command them to do. You can’t centralize that, and you can’t institutionalize it. What people most need in my experience is love and self-worth coupled with honesty and stability. For you to believe in them, and forgive and not expel them when they transgress again. How is an institution, and MONEY, supposed to LOVE? That’s the error they claim the Right is making. While New Hampshire or Florida is doing multiples better than SanFran with the same bad challenges.
So it’s the fault of an atheistic, materialistic view. Homeless? Here’s a House. Didn’t ask why, how, you got homeless, didn’t ask if you wanted a house — don’t care. This solution is all for ME and my ego, not you. “I” don’t want to see you. Make me feel bad. Get in the d–n house.
So again, although the intent is good, 60 seconds, to say nothing of 60 years, will show that method is not working. And presently, they want this heartless, loveless failure, of warehousing people to life but eternal misery, to be the State Religion, impressed with all the love and tenderness and attention to detail Governments are known for throughout history.
Thankfully, they’re such failures they can’t do that either, but as I said, it’s easy to break things, and they CAN do that. They can’t make people LOVE each other, with Covid, but they sure can make sure they hate each other instead. You unvaxxed, anti-science piece of garbage, you. I hope you die and make life better for the rest of us.

Like growing plants, growing people, societies, is very, very sensitive. Most of the time you do nothing but watch and wait and leave them alone. Don’t pull on the plants, stop transplanting them, and stop making and attempting new and different growth plans every week. Stop. What you’re doing isn’t working. Just Stop. Rest. Watch, get involved, and learn.
Maybe Raul can tell us how that works in the Streets of Athens. Where the geniuses just decided that they’ll stop Covid by not using fireworks. Because Fireworks = Covid now.

@John Day: oddly enough, I also have covid right now. Today is day … hmmmm … maybe 4? Hard to say, exactly, since the day before I had any real “symptoms” I knew I had it. Does that day count?
I was exposed the Wednesday before Christmas while making cookies with my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter wasn’t feeling great, but wasn’t thinking it was covid. Well, her family found out the following day (Thursday) they’d been exposed. All got sick, all tested positive. My granddaughter, of course, bounced right back after a day or two (she’s 3).
I took ivermectin when I found out about exposure but got sick anyhow. [shrugs shoulders] It’s in god’s hands now.
Been quiet for a while as I was too angry at our duplicitous and deeply corrupt government’s latest measures (hard lockdown while pushing for restricted access for the unjabbed and a jab mandate) to contain the omicold variant. The models used to justify the lockdown were based on ICL’s doom scenarios, even as the data from SA and elsewhere were showing that there was little to fear and our hospitalizations continue to drop.
Anyway, enough of that. A while back, without much to back me up, I aired the opinion that Pope Francis was fully “in bed” with Schwab and the World Evil Forum. So now here’s an article to support that earlier assertion. My take is that Francis has failed to recognize the devil and is actually helping him in his work.

We are all asymptomatic viral reservoirs as are animals. What are the conditions for a particular virus to jump from a bird, pig or bat to a human? Likewise what are the conditions for a particular virus to jump from the single, double or triple jabbed to the unjabbed?
In general it is the unhealthy that spread disease or maybe a better way to say it is the immune compromised that spread disease. In the moment our defenses are compromised, a virus that we were an asymptomatic host to takes hold and we get sick and a wave of illness will spread to those around us. The more immune compromised someone is (I.e. lack of VitD) the more likely they will become sick also.
It seems with each jab campaign a new wave of infection follows. Kirsch asks the question, Why is Japan crushing Covid? Maybe it has to do with the fact the booster rate is still pretty low. So far, Only 0.4% of the population has gone for the tripple.

I have an observation – a question actually for those on here smarter than I am – about the idea that the reason pharma wants the vaccines in 5 year olds is because at that point it’s considered approved, even for use in adults, and pharma isn’t liable and can’t be sued for injuries and death.
Pfizer HAS an approved vaccine, and has had for quite some months. It’s called Comernity and the company has openly stated that Comernity is no different than the bnt EUA vaccine (in fact, hasn’t the difference between the two been challenged and knocked down in court?).
And isn’t that very fact (an approved vaccine) the reason why the gov’t, et al, has been allowed to mandate the vaccine in troops and workers? (couldn’t mandate an EUA vaccine, correct?)
Riddle me this … why can’t Pfizer be sued NOW for death and injury? They’ve already caused that with their approved “bait and switch” Comernity / bnt vaccine. They’ve stated the two are identical except for the label. Why aren’t they being sued??

You and me, both. English was my worst subject, and I was almost failed because I refused to do a term paper my senior year of HS. And in middle school, reading comprehension tests would send me into a cold sweat. Did a book report on Robert Frost in 8th grade, and didn’t have a clue what his poetry meant. I wasn’t born with the gift, neither was any form of self-expression welcomed in our family. In fact, it was outright discouraged. Only later in life did I make the effort to overcome this gaping developmental disability.

Anecdotal: OmiCold seems to be spreading exponentially far & wide, as many on TAE now know ~ My youngest brother & his youngest daughter caught the omicold last week, his other RN daughter caught Delta in August (all vexxed).
The nursing home that my mother is in hospice care called to tell me some more of their staff are COVID positive, so now they’re requiring vax + neg test certs. The woman that called, social services worker, seems alarmed & ill-at-ease…
My mother-in-law got her booster yesterday, against my wife’s wishes (again). The oldest brother + youngest (manic depressive ICU RN) have control of her matters, both are koolaid swilling proglodytes that believe in skittle pooping unicorns.
Thus far my wife & I have missed out on all the fun, time to hunker down & go code red ~ Really hoping to miss this latest wave of bio-weapons, waiting for the kinder, gentler mutation(s) ~ IVM Up!
