The definition reads:
a person who is intolerant or hateful toward people whose race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc., is different from the person’s own.
Wow, it reads like a verse from the woke Bible. Bigotry is like racism, a word hijacked by the left, turned it into an insult where all the usual left wing slogans are attached … things like “hate”, “racist”, “intolerant” etc. When I am accused of racism of bigotry, I know my self preserving instincts are working just fine. For the left, if you don’t accept woke, then you are a bigot. If you don’t denounce your religion then you are a bigot. If you don’t accept diversity then you are a bigot.
Call me a bigot, I am proud of my traditional values and see no reason to change just because some Marxists call me pretend-bad words.

That ain’t workin’Let’s hypothetically consider that what Celticbiker says about “Jews” is true. That assumption doesn’t answer or even address the crucial question of WHY. Just what, exactly, IS the point being made? Is there a legitimate deduction we should infer, and if so then what is it? Does being Jewish makes you rotten? In that case then when my rather saintly sweet Methodist Protestant sister converted to Judaism in order to marry the man she loves (true) was she thereby automatically transformed into a bad person? If that’s what he’s implying then maybe he and I need to settle this thing in an alley with no witnesses present.

I think y’all get the point. The only thing proven by the fact that so many bad guys publicly present as Jews proves NOTHING except the fact that they publicly present as members of a particular religion or ethnicity. From and investigative perspective it is a good thread to pull on to see where it might lead, but that’s all that it is.

He’s crazy. Translation: “We only make money when windows are broken.” No. Obviously the shops and building have the most value and utility when they are NOT broken. When no one is out breaking them. This has been noticed a dozen times in “Capitalist” history, and initiatives were created to reinforce them. But we have no Capitalism, and it isn’t one of those times.
Example: there was a 20-40 year initiative to create better health after WWI, with paid initiatives for nutrition, vitamins, books, programs, outreach. At the moment, the government does NOT want that, as the U.S. is the designated LOSER in the next war, or was supposed to be, so similarly, they have closed and demolished all the fallout shelters and preparation/plans. Including vaporizing the Boy Scouts, who kept some residual memory of this. When they buy up the burned-down casino at 2c/dollar and own it again, they will Lo! Suddenly see! that we should do this again, health and reason and preparation, and we will be a pre-designated winner in a very fixed game.
On the other, This is what’s so fascinating to me: Dr. and I make a direct, simple case on the one fact that they’re NOT JEWS. They just say they are. –We could be wrong, but the conversation should go there, perhaps to refuting us with evidence?

In any case, it perfectly drops the very simple discussion back into what is unhelpful, the 50-year repeat of same dumb re-runs, even as Bosco complains about how unhelpful it is and we should be more productive. Then don’t argue against straw men and ghosts almost no one was bringing up! Don’t simply reinforce a boring status quo that admits no argument or evidence. I think that’s what you’re primarily against, right? Then don’t do it.
So they’ve been well-trained to follow the existing mind-paths and never leave them, even when pushed into a ditch. That’s what makes it interesting: I’m sure neither means it, so why so utterly compliant with the training? I’m sure you both find that, and the trainers, offensive. Yes, Jewishness itself is not an indicator of any trait in any given individual. Even less-so is the claim of Jewishness made by that individual or others. Still no identified universal common trait or behavior shared by all Jews — except, perhaps, as projections by others needing a target for their otherwise-amorphous bigotry and unresolved internal tensions. I have lots of problems with many Jews, but none of them are simply because they are Jews (of whatever strain).
Again, sanity requires that we hold people responsible for what they do far more (if at all) than for what they “are,” or corrupted ideology- or agenda-bound abstractions become the basis for choices instead of real-world experience and human resonance.
One fundamental error in our civilization is our failure to accurately comprehend human nature, leading to profound systematic errors and abuses because of incorrect and largely untested premises.

And at the risk of seeming pushy, and with delight at being a creative irritant, I’ll also share the link to another frontier-exploring doc, Epistemological Engineering, since this conversation has flirted with explicit exploring of rudimentary epistemology, another fast-evolving (lots of selecting going on) art-and-science.
It should be clear to all of us here that we are all participating in a time of evolving paradigms, with the post-Modern Paradigm being ever-so-gradually replaced (“one funeral at a time”) by a post-post-Modern paradigm (for which we will eventually devise a snappier name). I suppose I should share a doc that wrestles with that process, too…
And please note that I am not interested in being held as an “authority” on anything, but rather as a fellow-traveler on an adventure into new territory, noting landmarks and their potential import for others to experience and signify for themselves. It’s all there, folks, right in front of, and inside, us, often tediously complex and tentative upon first encounter. Sorry about that…
