It’s plain to see how they’re screwing everything up and are failing on a stupendous scale. The reason they’re failing is that the so-called logical intelligence devices that they are using (especially including their own literature, science books and living brains) are NOT actually intelligence as we think of it. Those devices (including language) are just ROUGH COPIES, crudely inadequate verbal explanations in monkey-talk trying to explain to each other what they’re actually living in and looking at
The only real and true “intelligence” that there is or ever could be is the one that created this place in such a way that intelligence could ever even be thought of as a thing. If you want to see how intelligence works then examine how language works, and if you want to know how language works then examine how life works, and if you want to understand life then examine the world very very closely and figure out how physical reality is running, and if you really want to understand the physical sciences then you’re just going to have to talk to God about that because He is the ONLY one who knows.

I found out, or it was brought to me as a realization, that my Uncle Don was born on October 24, Black Thursday of 1929, and as a direct result traveled a whole lot and lived in tents a whole lot as a toddler and little boy, which he remembers fondly at 96. He remains an interesting and intellectual man, composing, and sometimes translating poetry from German and Old English, such as Beowulf.

I’ve been aware and deeply respectful of Christopher Langan for about 1o years now but he’s one full order of magnitude above my pay grade in the mathematics and sheer brain power departments. I had to take a different approach that took about 5 times longer to arrive at similar conclusions. One benefit of the being the slow kid in class is that I’ve become a genuine whiz bang at ripping through remedial homework.
