Guns are pretty dangerously useless unless you can aim them, and especially now in the technological age you can’t aim them without satellites, real-time observations and Artificial Intelligence. Hence the big race to master surveillance, space and AI all at the same time.
The system is hell on wheels when everything works, but it is B R I T T L E. Nothing as worthless as a nuclear armed intercontinental guided missile with no way to hit the intended target…. and if you don’t control all three of those factors (space, AI and real-time targeting observations) then that missile ain’t going nowhere….. at least nowhere you want it to.

Your Uncle Don sounds like a guy who has earned the treasure that he has discovered: old age & good health and experiences to enjoy it in. He’s got me beat by a few years (almost a couple decades) but the game’s the same. If I had known that being old was this much fun I would have started even earlier.

Iran answers that Hormuz will be “completely closed” if power plants are hit. Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf stresses that all energy and oil infrastructure across the Persian Gulf will become “legitimate targets” and be “irreversibly destroyed.” Emphasis: “irreversibly”.

As the clock ticks, Iran once again stresses: No Surrender.

Reparations. As in $500 billion.
No more wars on the Axis of Resistance.
A new legal regime for the Strait of Hormuz.
Now contrast with Barbaria’s aim to end the war “in a few weeks”:Dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program.

The Empire of Chaos under the discombobulated baboon may allegedly be looking for an off-ramp, TACO-style. Its non-existence is a categorical imperative (Kant specialist Larijani would be able to explain it).

At face value, neo-Caligula decided to “postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period.”
What may have really happened is that Iran, via Oman, relayed to Neo-Caligula that they have all the cards, and if he goes on with his threat, he will be sole responsible for crashing the global economy. So discombobulation set in in the Mar-a-Lago universe, as US Treasuries and stocks were already in panic mode, attacks on Iran power plants already took place early Monday, and Iran was bound to retaliate big time in the dead of night.

Iran War:
From what I can tell trying to look through the fog of war, where the truth is as clear as mud.
Iran looks like it is lying on the floor curled up to protect itself as best as is possible, while Israel and the US continue to kick Iran where ever they please and as hard as they want.
Israel and the US are using aircraft to deliver standoff missiles to attack Iran.
Iran is using missiles and drones in reply.
Howeverm, there is a “huge” discrepancy in explosive tonnage being exchanged between the combatants.
Israel and the US are delivering more explosive tonnage much cheaper than Iran is able to.
Iran is using very expensive missiles with limited explosive tonnage.
Pictures show Israel structures being partially damaged, while Iranian pictures show total destruction of any structures.
Iran may hit buildings with 80 kg bombers, whIle Israel/US are hitting Iran with much larger explosive bombs.
Iran has limited and expensive missile explosive tonnage available to use, verses Israel/US’s unlimited supply of bomb explosive tonnage, that will never run out.
Cuurrently Iran is being hit much harder, than Iran can hit back.
No matter how well prepared Iran is, time is still against them.
Israel/US can bomb every bank ATM and every gas station, if need be, rendering Iran completely nonfunctiinal.
Iran can not do the same!The sheer weight of explosive tonnage will begin to be felt, over time.
At some point Iran’s IRGC will cease to be functional.
