kultsommer my question was generated by your statement “The World has chosen Che”. I do not believe the world has chosen Marxism or Che revolution. I think of the system now in place as the company store in a community of sharecroppers.

Wes are you referring to “We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us”? Our thoughts contrast on payment of labor. Under payment of labor puts an end to work itself. My view is the sense of entitlement is driven by inequity more than other factors.
There are studies with canines and primates that seem to show there is an innate sense of equity in mammals. Obvious disparity in the distribution of food in the studies led to a negative response among the test subjects.
The sense of inequity appears to be debilitating for humans. A few generations of under paid labor seems to destroy incentive and lead to multiple forms of social dysfunction. Inequity leads to contempt for social norms.

Dr D an event such as solar activity interrupting power generation or a large volcanic eruption is more inline with the type of event envisioned leading to change. Rapid environmentally driven evolution not revolution. As long as credit and debt can be extended i see no revolution. Cessation of credit would lead to total collapse not revolution. Some form of tribalism would most likely prevail not an organized movement.

Restoring the knowledge that rights are born on duty, leveling the playing field and equal protection under the law would certainly lead to a positive outcome. How to coerce privilige and concentration of wealth to move toward equality of opportunity remains the rub. Some type of carrot and stick must be employed to promote the general welfare. I do not object to community service being a component of the safety net. A safety net is imperative.

Of course my favorite memory of Captain Kangaroo is the story book Stone Soup.

I think that it is becoming more and more obvious, to more and more people, who are now bluntly articulating their observation that the “bad guys” all display exactly the same mindset as habitual criminals do, which is to steal (unfairly take) whatever they want and to use increasing force to depower or remove anyone and everyone who opposes them in that purpose of rapacious taking by criminal means. Just like an armed mugger or rapist in a dark alley, essentially.

That’s actually pretty simple, and it is also pretty damned accurate. That criminal mindset is the common denominator, and all of the bad guys have it, regardless of the banners they claim to fight under or for.

If you see two men struggling in a battle to the death they can appear to be nearly identical. It is only when it’s revealed that one of the two is a criminal and the other one is an innocent victim of attempted robbery, that the differences become understandably apparent. It’s not that hard to see a difference when you know what the difference actually is, but it can be practically invisible when you don’t.

I do not believe the world has chosen Marxism or Che revolution.

Does the ideological weight prevents you guys to notice a bit of metaphor in some writing?
Conduct a brief interview anywhere on the world’s streets with the simple riddle: “Revolutionary on the T-shirt”.
Answer will not be an official “freedom deliverers” in the likes of Rubio or Blinken or……. It will be Che. The latter even being pointless still outweighs the former two clowns, which just proves the sad state of the world.

I think of the system now in place as the company store in a community of sharecroppers.

And the population rode straight into it with wrooming Harley’s and F-350’s while chuckling about the misery in the socialist countries.

At 3:47 AM Brussels time, NATO leaders were summoned to an emergency meeting with no staff, no translators, and no records—something has gone catastrophically wrong. Vladimir Putin just made a nuclear threat so specific and credible that NATO intelligence confirmed Russia has already deployed tactical nuclear weapons in Kaliningrad, Crimea, and Belarus aimed at NATO forces. The threat includes predelegation of launch authority, meaning Russian field commanders can use nuclear weapons without Putin’s approval if communications are disrupted. NATO now faces impossible choices: retreat and prove nuclear coercion works, escalate and risk nuclear war, or maintain positions while populations demand de-escalation. Every option contradicts NATO’s stated objectives, and European polls show 70%+ oppose risking nuclear conflict over Ukrainian territory—this is what strategic paralysis

Russia says supports de-escalation around Venezuela, pins hopes on Trump’s pragmatism
Maria Zakharova reiterated Moscow’s support for “the efforts of the government of Nicolas Maduro aimed at protecting sovereignty and national interests and maintaining the stable and secure development of his country”

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russia strongly condemns US attempts to destabilize the situation around Venezuela and hopes that the pragmatism of American President Donald Trump will help the problem be resolved in a legal manner, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“Today we are literally witnessing lawlessness in the Caribbean Sea, where the seemingly long-forgotten practices of misappropriation of other people’s property, namely piracy, raiding and banditry, are being revived,” she told a news briefing. “We strongly condemn such phenomena and call for stability and law and order in the maritime sphere.”

She added that Moscow “consistently advocates de-escalation of the current situation, maintaining relations of trust and predictability. It is important to prevent the development of events in a destructive scenario. And we hope that the pragmatism and rationality inherent in US President Trump will make it possible to find mutually acceptable solutions for the parties within the framework of international legal norms.”

The Russian diplomat reiterated Moscow’s support for “the efforts of the government of Nicolas Maduro aimed at protecting sovereignty and national interests and maintaining the stable and secure development of his country.”

Zakharova said that on December 23, a meeting of the UN Security Council was held to discuss strengthening of the US military presence in the Caribbean and the de facto naval blockade of the Bolivarian republic. She said that “the overwhelming majority of countries condemned the unilateral nature of restrictions that grossly violate existing international rights and principles, namely the sovereign equality of states, non-interference in internal affairs, freedom of navigation, and economic rights. From the point of view of international maritime law, such behavior qualifies as a violation of freedom of navigation, enshrined in article 87 of the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. We firmly believe that Latin America and the Caribbean should remain a zone of peace, as it was proclaimed in 2014.”

    About the situation around Venezuela

Washington unfairly accuses the Venezuelan authorities of not actively fighting drug smuggling. The US Navy has deployed a strike group of ships led by aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, a nuclear submarine, and more than 16,000 military personnel in the Caribbean. Since September, the US army have sunk at least 20 speedboats in the region, killing more than 80 people. Washington closed the airspace over Venezuela and blockaded oil tankers on the sanctions lists.

The American media has repeatedly said that the United States may soon begin attacking drug cartel facilities in Venezuela.

Alexander Shchetinin, director of the Latin American department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told TASS that Russia expects the US administration to take a pragmatic approach to the situation to avoid serious consequences for the entire region

Thinking a few things: Silver raid didn’t get far. Okay, stay tuned.

“Silver” raid is also a US$ raid. Silver going “Up” is the US$ going Down. In comparison.

That is not true in the common sense, as US$ “Down” would take oil, which is low, and Euro, which remains unchanged. We HAD “Inflation” but that’s stopped right now. (Like 3%, or falling some places while rising on former inertia in others)

US GDP is Raging! 4%!! Yeah, no, there were some dumb Tariff adjustments that only mean bookwork things. The economy is solid, and optimism is higher, but it’s still generally low after being crushed for 25 years, and languishing just like always. So how do you want to rate it? Out of “Raging Collapse” and into “Deep Suck” which is a huge improvement, but spare me your happy-talk.

The MN crisis is great, admit $1B right off the bat, and usually it’s 1/10th of the actual is admitted. So $2B seems a lock at least. That means Minnesota can be that rich WHILE $2B is stolen from them. Imagine how wealthy we’d feel overnight if you just stopped stealing? Or only slowed down a very little bit? Wonder why the roads aren’t paved, etc, there you go. All corruption.

Again, this is (said above) that this is all defended at the HIGHEST level, direct from D.C. CIA, etc. That money goes to Somalia? Hahahaha! No, it is back-funneled in Somalia to CIA black accounts, and to do that, back-bribes to D.C. people. WHYEVER shall Minnesota’s good people not notice and stop it, the ‘tards?

Gee, could that be because Organized Crime would KILL them? And I don’t mean the Somalis, although that’s true, I mean Comey and the FBI, now Kash, and the CIA who would have their murder funds cut off. And all this flips back 2/3 DNC, 1/3 GOP to Congress to keep it running and controlled. What’s some jerk roads commissioner from Lake Woebegone going to do against THAT? Golly some guy with 5 cars and $20k in cash and 10 addresses my show up on his doorstep and shoot him.

People are at least digesting this here, AND that if it’s in MN, it’s DEFINITELY in every other state, NY, IL, VA, AND that can only happen with EVERY corruption, right from the top, the governor’s office, all the way down.

So we don’t have a tax problem. Yay! And we don’t have a production problem. Yay! We have a STEALING problem, and those are really easy to fix. Arrest, try, and hang the criminals involved. Bye bye. Suddenly, $2 BILLION in your budget opens up x Times 50 States.

Oh and PS, the Black CIA goes unfunded now, and so does MI6/London who are Siamese twins. We found that out with USAID already. They went bananas about how it would hurt poor countries and people when it really hurt Europe and Oligarchs. They’re having a heck of a time filling that hole.

Speaking of, strategy for Venezuela. “Fight them there so we don’t fight them here.” That was the dumbest phrase ever, however, suppose we have the CIA Western Hemisphere “Dr. No” volcano in Ven right now. AND we know they’re going to Color Revolution the U.S. not only because we saw it, but they actually come out and SAY they are. Okay, fine. What’s standard military procedure, boys?

Yeah, you go down to THEIR side and keep THEM busy instead. The more they’re tied up at home, covering their base, the less they can project power miles away out to YOU. So I’m quite sure the CIA had all kinds of wonderful plans in Mexico, and the Darian Gap, and to burn Minneapolis and so on, however, all their foot soldiers are tied up back at home base. Even if they’re not used, the “Credible Threat” requires them to be on site, on call. OR, you’re totally welcome to bomb Dallas, in which case you’re not in Venezuela and we’ll liquidate the base you left undefended. Your choice: I could not care. Any minute I blow you up is a happy minute, and don’t care what location I get to do that in.

Second level: We have two armies, a Military one, and an Intel one. But everyone knows, and doesn’t even try to say, that when the Soldier meets a Spy, the spy dies instantly. The CIA’s “army” may look super-amazing, but only so long as they never, ever meet a real Army, which is make to actually break things and kill people. Reminds me of the “Reacher” books. Like, I need a distraction? Yeah, I lit the whole town on fire and laughed, that got their “Attention” alright! Like bad guy hiding in a house? Yeah, I leveled all 20 square blocks and never thought on it again, bye. Army Rulz is not Civilian Rulz.

This is the US Army taking out the US CIA. The CIA doesn’t stand a f—king chance because the CIA is a PARASITE that USES the US Army for their nefarious evil. Without their cooperation of the DoD, DoW, they’re a bunch of four-eyed pencil-necked chicken hawks. Which they’re finding out now. Even a CARTEL, or ten of them, is an afternoon’s amusement to the US Army.

So what are we doing there, blowing up a couple boats?

Gee, you notice we don’t have nearly the problems here lately? And Maduro can just hand them over, you know. To us or Putin, idgaf.

But what am I saying? We just lost another 100 million men there this week, which is really odd, since we lost 100 million men only a few months ago, when we invaded Iran. ‘Coz Trump was a-totes a-gonna do that one too, as Israel’s puppet.

What happened? A: It was all memory holed. They were all wrong, all their predictions failed, they would have to change their worldview, so they just forgot and it never happened now. What Iran? No, really: I’m watching them pitch the exact same news stories as if Iran is a new thing only just now noticed and we’ve never done anything there. Nutsy’s asking for the first time and nobody has any idea what will happen if Iran and Israel go at it.

Same as Europe. Again and again catch them on the side saying, “If we don’t look out and have these negotiations, a WAR might break out!” Guys: You’re IN Europe. YOU, are Europeans. (Duran, one example, but Nima and Dreisen too) There is. A War. Next country over. That is killing. One THOUSAND men a week. And has killed. Two MILLION men. You might have noticed.

Nope. Does not compute. Not sure what war you’re referring to. No war here, we’re worried about “Russia” starting “A war” in Europe, so I don’t know what you mean. …Yes, I see. I guess you mean “Ukraine” is not a country, and “Slavs” are not human beings, so their deaths are rated the same as flies and ants, I hear you perfectly. To be “European” they would have to be “Human beings” first, Duran, is this really your view?

Speaking of, 30 minutes on that. War is all Trump’s fault and Trump’s failure. Trump, not having started the war, not having run the war, not funding the war, and the U.S. not a party to the war….

….IS THE ONLY MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR ENDING THE WAR. So He is the only party, and the only negotiator, there is no one but him, anywhere on earth. So he’s negotiating with HIMSELF ackshully, there’s no Russian side either. There is only one man, and he is Donald Trump, and Donald Trump is God, the only thing in the universe, according to them.

There is no Zelensky. There is no Ukraine. There is no Europe. There is no Putin. Nope. Not according to the Duran. Trump must negotiate himself out of a war he, and we, are not in. And he’s failing at it! How bad is that??? He can’t even negotiate with HIMSELF correctly! Why I say sir, it gives me the vapors.

Boy talk about your tricky wickets!!! Man, that’s like Vanuatu negotiating the end of WWII at Malta! Wouldn’t you have to be IN the war, have CONTROL over the people, nations, territory, armies to stop it?

Nope. Because there is only Donald Trump, he is all people, he is all nations, he is all actions, he is all thoughts, and Donald Trump is God.

    To them.

Make it make sense. Then two seconds later, Alex pivots and says Trump can’t get Europe to settle down and stop AND that the U.S. Senate both won’t sign any peace (that is, treaty, a 2/3 vote) but would ALSO be elated to impeach him. That’s how we all know it’s Trump’s fault and only he can stop it, because both the Senate and all Europe are dropping all ordinance they have on his creamsicle head.

You know, whenever there’s a war, it’s always a fault of one Gomer Pyle who sticks his head up from the foxhole and says “Why can’t we all just get along and go home?” That’s just common sense. You shoot THAT guy, not the enemy, and not your General. And thus so it is today, thus shall it ever be.
