Thanks, Ilargi. It was a joy watching you rip these two CIA mimeographed articles to shreds. The sad part is knowing most Americans will suck this garbage journalism up like a Hoover Deluxe.

I’ll second MQ on your excellent shredding of U.S. foreign policy reports/”news”…
I’d like to live to see the U.S. out of Afghanistan and Syria…

I couldn’t let that go unanswered. While I agree; it is certainly a POV; and one not shared by the Corporatocracy.
Their view is one of greed for all the untapped metals, gems (precious & semi-precious), and rare earths. American lives be damned!
China is already in Afghanistan mining copper…

The Western Empire couldn’t have fallen. There can’t be an American Civil War 2.0 if corporate media does not publish the pictures. This unites the six corporate media owners; there is nothing to see here. “Donald Trump lost. Coronavirus is running wild.”

If Georgia stays blue and North Carolina red there are just three red states left on the US East Coast. The USA is becoming bi-polar with blue coasts and the heartland red. This is the direct result of the death of the New Deal and de-industrialization. The only way to make money is by financialization or resource extraction. Both Coasts take their cut on the goods shipped through their ports from ordering, shipping, assembly, and storage. But thanks to the Western Empire which Wall Street is desperately trying to resurrect, most money is earned through finance charges and interest on debt due to the US dollar being the global reserve currency.

Within the USA, resource extraction pollutes rivers and air flowing to the coasts but is the only source of good paying jobs, inland, unless in upper crust education or healthcare.

The US federal government has been seized by vested interests; oil, gas, industrial farming, air transportation, healthcare, education, intelligence and military suppliers. Rather than serving the people, these institutions make more money for the rich and their staffers. College students are customers, who partied, got sick, went back home and infected their families. Continuing to rake in the money from student loans or occupying Syria’s oil field are more important than health or life.

What is being ignored is the possibility of Republican State Legislators for the first-time electing Donald Trump electoral voters (for example Arizona and Michigan) not the winner, Joe Biden, due to election fraud and to end the wars. The media are most intently avoiding giving them ideas and the swamp blob gathering dirt on the legislators. This would be equivalent of hothead Southern militias firing on Fort Sumter to preserve their livelihood.

What a surprise if this explodes out of the Fog of War.

    Thanks, Ilargi.
For many reasons, Rome withdrew from their occupations, similarly the USA will go home.
The USA withdrawal will happen with the troops wearing face masks.
The USA will still control the high ground with satellites, missiles, drones, air force, etc.
The military industries will not disappear, they will shift their production to other needed supplies.
The defense of the homeland will still continue with modern tools, and not with occupation of allies or enemy territories.

We will see if Biden will listen to reason or to the old school of pentagon advisors.

+++ post Ilargi. Never heard of MacGregor.

Quote about him from article in top post:

—— He lamented that the US government intervened against Serbian forces, who engaged in ethnic cleansing and war crimes, during the Kosovo War in the 1990s to “put, essentially, a Muslim drug mafia in charge of that country.” ——

Hashim Thaci, the President of Kosovo, pro-US, elected Pres. in 2016 (had other, many, ‘top’ pol posts before, e.g. Prime Minister, Foreign M, etc.) resigned on Nov 5, 2020. He is accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity and will be on trial in the Hague.

Why is this not all over the US MSM? /sarc

I couldn’t find the famous pic where he shakes hands with Rumsfeld via a quick search, so here is one of him with H. Clinton.

How did OUR lithium get under THEIR country?

How did THEIR country get on top of OUR Silk Road?
