As I’ve said, right now, Ukraine can flip to an Irish Resistance approach, and should. LOGICALLY that fits all the same goals here. But they are NOT logical. They are in a Relationship Structure.

If you want a long and excruciating breakdown of each moment with Ze, this is highly accurate:

I don’t think it’s worth the time, and I find the exchange disturbing. Why? Probably because I feel for both Ze and Ukraine, even as they make bad decisions and nothing but unforced errors.
Going over it in minute detail, he’s exhausted, doesn’t speak the language etc, the only thing I get back to is SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH. SOMETHING…and we don’t have to know what…just went off the rails verbally after 40 very standard minutes in the White House. So SHUT YER MOUTH and say, “Well, we’ll need to take up these negotiations more in private, thank you.” Get your translator’s view, whatever you need to do, and take it up rested.
I’ve heard a great saying: “You can’t talk a guy into a sale, but you sure can talk him out.” Maybe salesmen can, but the rest of us can’t. THEY are doing this for some unfathomable reason, talking themselves into sending another $300B and saving Ukraine. Shut yer mouth and let them.
