Almost sounds like you Raul, but you dont think she is genuine? You carry the same message but for different reasons? Would be seriously interested in what prompts you to insinuate she is a pwn and b whom? Would make a seriously interesting post. Not sure I know what you actually think about it. My take is that she is for real, that she has no filters to sort away the impressions because of her Asperger and so was unable to be a child because she could not focus on childrens activities while reciving news of the state of the world. She was apparently in a deep depression which has been lifted thanks to her following her convictions. What should she have done according top you? Antidepressants? What are the proofs she is being used by handlers and what is her agenda?

Second thing I want to push a bit on is your thoughts on Trumps responibility for the treatmment of Julian Assange, is he just a victim? He is the one who has appointed Gina Haspel, and Mike Pompeo, who is responsible for the CIAs actions now? should he still have underdog status? There is an article up on Mint Press on the subject. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on that.

Fat chance. How do people get to the point of believing this? Misplaced hope probably. Trump is moving along the project of complete technical totalitarianism somewhere between a little slower to a bit faster than any of the other white house occupants. I think you are wrong on Greta. When it comes to Trump you need hard proof for any critical thought but when it comes to this girl you can insunuate handlers, people using her, not considering any agency on her part. Show us some proof of her inauthenticity. I think she is doing what she is doing out of choice, she is speaking to power the same message I have seen on this blog but of course in a childish way. At the start the elite wanted to share in her glow and they raced each other to virtue signal next to her, they probably thought they could get away from her critique or that people would tire of her by them inviting her in but now they see she is not holding back but growing fearser in her attacks. Maybe this is actually a similar figure to the legends you dont want to associate her to, only time and the young people swept up in this movement will tell. She might end up in the midst of the great or fade away if it (technique) manages to neutralize her. She might end up achieving change to the better on the environmental front but those who excpect her to bring some utopia will of course be dead wrong, technique will continue substituting the artificial for the natural and Greta and even Assange will in the end help the technical system improve itself instead of challenging it because they are both deeply embedded in technique a hacker and a mediastar. The best we can hope for of any of their work is for the technical system to manipulate the masses a little softer and destroy nature a little slower on its march toward complete totalitarianism and complete destruction of the natural world. Does that mean we give up on their visions, no, there is always the unexpected.

Really enjoy his posts, witty and eloquent but sometimes it seems as though he thinks Trump is interested in protecting old fashioned American freedoms and I just dont get that part of his reasoning. I’m currently reading Jacques Elull’s book The Technological Society and sadly almost every headline here confirms his descriptions of the trajectory of technique perfectly. I am feeling a little bit hopeless from reading it since I see no way to change the course we are on. Assange is in the way of technique and so gets passified, Trump, Bolsonaro and Johnson are here to let it free to ravage the last natural resources, although Trumps fight with the Fed makes him a contradictory character (probably because of his impulsiveness which contrasts technique), Johnson wants to free technique from the backwardness of Europe which is cintraining things like bioscience proven by the article on Germanys ban on glyphosate, the Fed will win against Trump because the people always chooses the solution of the technicians in the end. Or has something happened that is breaking the steady pace forward by the technosphere? Is there a limit Elull did not forsee? Energy? Nuclear power is soon back in vouge for sure and the march towards the artificial continues unaffected by Trumps and Brexiteers. Is there even a point in resisting? Is there any chance we’ll have a free press when a state controlled one is so much more efficient? How long until people like us visiting The Automatic Earth are silenced, put into concentration camps and passified like Julian or silenced just by having no means of expression left. I guess my belief that resistance is right and worth it is intact but my hope of winning is more or less a thing of the past, a good thing perhaps.

I was reading last night in a book by Vaclav Smil about the cocepts of macroparasites (McNeil) and distributional coalitions (Olsen). And I think Trump and Epstein are parts of the same macroparasite/distributional coalision but as you say clear evidence is not there yet and I think the reason all this surfaces might just be another attempt by a competing macroparasite oust Trump.

Epsteins ties to Trump I bet are deeper than you think. Look at his connections to Erik Prince for example. I like your contrarian view on Trump to a certain extend but sometimes I think you have taken the stance so far you fell of the other side of the cliff. I’m sorry but Trump is protege to Roy Cohn, sionist, fixer for the mafia and Mossad and also apparently the mentor of Jeffrey Epstein. The chances Trump will look into this looks very slim indeed.
