When my younger sister met her husband, she was shocked that he had no idea how use tools, build things, or fix anything that broke around the house/car.
She grew up with a father and 2 older brothers who had tools and could build or fix anything that broke around the house/car.
She just assumed every man was born naturally knowing all of this stuff!

Your observations about women remind me of my travails with women.
Being a bit shy, very logical, and financially conservative. I had very little dating experience with women, from a teenager and through out my twenties. It ,was only in my early thirties, after losing my mining job, and returning home to Toronto, that I tried to start dating women.
Needless to say I wasn’t very successful at dating. I can count all my dates on my fingers and still have a few fingers to spare. By the way I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs. Whatever women want in a man, I clearly didn’t have what they all seemed to want.
I wanted to start a family. That eliminated most women right there! I valued close family relations. I came from a stable family background. I am comfortable being an intellectual or working with my hands as a jack of all trades. I can even cook!
Through hard work, I was now in a position, where I could afford and support a wife. I wanted a stay at home wife, to raise the children. I liked to spend time at the family island cottage. Nothing fancy. Just a boring stay at home with my woman, man.
None of these things much interested most women. They didn’t seem to want a stable established man without previous baggage of an ex and kids.
To be honest, except for my wife who I married when I was 40, I still have no clue to this day what it is women want from a man! I will never solve this problem.
I read/heard all the time about women leaving their previous relationship and wondered why these women didn’t want anything to do with a man who would value them? Another unsolved problem.
Maybe only the women can answer these questions?
Maybe it is a secret that women hide from men?It is interesting that the Trump transition team have so far not signed an agreement with the Goverment Services Agency (GSA) to help them make the transition, like they did back in 2016.
After signing an agreement with the GSA in 2016, they later discovered to their horror, that the GSA promptly turned over all the confidential information given to the GSA by the Trump transition team, to the deep state! Everything including private attorney-client information given in confidence.
The deep state then used this information to sabotage Trump every step of the way!
Burned once, this time the Trump transition team seems determined to avoid dealing with the GSA even though it may slow down and delay Trump’s transition.Trump has been raising funds to avoid having to use the GSA at all.
The Trump transition team are even opening offices outside of Washington, D.C. Despite these efforts they know they are being heavily spied upon by the deep state. Every phone call and every e-mail is monitored.
The deep state intends to sabotage Trump again.

This year is the first time in over 30 years that we have not seen any deer on the island!
Until the late 1960s there were no deer in southern Ontario but they finally reached the shores of Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River by the 1990s.
(We still have the deer ticks which we never had before the deer showed up!)
The likely culprit is the island’s local resident native.who posts signs that he hunts deer from September to June.
He only stops hunting during the July to August peak cottage season.
I guess he will have to go to a nearby bigger island for his deer steaks and deer burgers this year.Duck Hunting Season – St. Lawrence River:
This duck hunting season, I am pleased to report that I haven’t seen or heard of any duck hunting activities at all!
I have noticed that interest in duck hunting in the area has been steadily declining for years, maybe even for more than a decade.
The decline in duck hunting started slowly at first but seems have just collapsed suddenly this year.
I thought at first it might be due to a declining population here in Canada.
However, Justin says this isn’t true, as we have open borders and Canada’s population has exploded!
So why has duck hunting here declined to zero?

I needed to buy some more metal cutting jigsaw blades and hacksaw blades.
There are now 2 types of jigsaw blade types.
The old is U-Shank mounting.
The new is T-Shank mounting. (Naturally not backwards compatible.)
They are not interchangeable.
There are very few of the old U- shank jigsaw blades being stocked in stores now.
(Nobody is stocking 10″ hacksaw blades only 12″ blades!)Unless you grind the “T” off the T-Shank jigsaw blade and narrow the mounting stem and add a “V” notch at the top, so they will fit the old U-Shank jigsaw more or less.
It has been at least 20 years since I have had to buy new jigsaw blades or hacksaw blades.
My, have prices ever, ever, ever, …… gone up!
