Wassily Kandinsky Contrasting Sounds 1924 • Biden Asks Americans To Choose Between Freedom And Democracy (RT) • Mobilization Law Condition For
[See the full post at: Debt Rattle April 22 2024]April 22, 2024 at 10:47 am #157512tbocParticipantdo you think the point could have been more broadly missed?
“freedom over democracy,”
just exactly what is the point of the trans imperative? of DEI writ large? Tyranny of the individual, unregulated and unhindered personal expression with access the only limitation. Whatever money can buy. Money buys access. The unfettered use of coercion to escape the bounds of the human social contract. Exclusive amorality.
“freedom over democracy,” was a stump speech, a whistle stop rallying cry
April 22, 2024 at 12:04 pm #157513Dr. DParticipant““We’ve made very clear to China — and many other countries have as well — that they should not be supplying Russia with weapons for use in its aggression against Ukraine,” said Secretary of State Blinken after a meeting of G-7 foreign ministers.”
Hahahahaha! That’s never been true you could say that, ever in history, to anyone. So, um, China, who’s 5x stronger? When you’re entirely in the wrong? When you’ve already said when you beat Russia you’ll immediately invade China? Wow, these guys are master chess players! Surely they run the world! It’s hopeless, might as well give up to them now.
““In a benign international environment, we trusted the global level playing field and the rules-based international order, expecting that others would do the same. But now the world is changing rapidly, and it has caught us by surprise,” said Mario Draghi,”
Hahahahaha! Europe hasn’t had or wanted, or tried, or even allowed, a level playing field since 1550. Even if that WASN’T true, what guy says, “Oh, I left my $100 bills out by the mailbox and expected you would do the same”?
This is also what Yellen said when she visited: “We are having trouble keeping up, because we’re morons, destroyed all our factories, ruined all our schools, killed all our people, trampled all their actions, stole all their work, and are now falling way behind. And we expect in order to keep up, China will do the same and destroy themselves so we can compete. In fact, we don’t expect it, we DEMAND it.” “Oh by the way, buy $1 Trillion of our bonds every 100 days.” …We don’t expect it, we demand it. …We need the money so we can attack you. How about “No.” Does “No” work for you you deranged retarded lunatic.
“Most importantly, other regions are no longer playing by the rules and are actively devising policies to enhance their competitive position. “
What da fuqqing “Rules”? What “rules”? Nobody signed anything. “Rulz” you made up yesterday? Things you thought in your adorable little pre-school heads?
You know, when Scholz visited China this week, he was met by Xi — no his staff – No somebody else’s staff – no actually a mayor – no actually an Assistant TO the Mayor. Of one city. And I was thinking about that, but really, without NordStream, 100% of all German companies are LOSING money. Dead, dead, dead. Volkswagen is making money in only ONE place over all of Planet Earth: China. Porsche and everyone else are moving – TO AMERICA. (To give you an idea how desperate their situation is; hope they didn’t choose NY)
So ALL GERMANY, the driver of all Europe, is what? Yeah, they’re less important, less productive, less relevant, than ONE CHINESE CITY. THAT, is what Xi is saying when he had the deputy assistant secretary to the Mayor meet Scholz, head of Germany. And that’s PERMANENT. (in relative terms).
So what’s the problem? Other than that you suck, don’t work, actively hunted and destroyed all workers, killed all their children, and stole/prevented all Capital?
“China, for example, is aiming to capture and internalize all parts of the supply chain in green and advanced technologies and is securing the access to the required resources.” Yeah, AND?
“ This rapid supply expansion is leading to significant overcapacity in multiple sectors and threatening to undercut our industries” he said.” Yeah, AND? Your problem is: THEY DO WORK? Sell you great products cheap? Oh noes.
See, this is how the West is Communist. They see China DOING WORK, and rather than be better in COMPETITION and TRADE, they demand China break their legs to suck as bad as lazy, shiftless, thieving people like ourselves. They want Equality of Outcome. When the INPUT is, they “Do no work”. And they’re mad because everywhere in West, everywhere in their lives, they’ve always stolen every hard worker’s lead, (you didn’t make that) cheated, and complained/arrested/accused/arrested anyone better than them to have a “Level playing field”. Go DEI in a bonus hole. Meaning if you’re an amputee, you require me to crawl around without legs like you do. Bring everyone DOWN to your level instead of UP to human potential.
This is so ingrained in them, apparently they can’t understand it, and don’t grasp at all what they sound like. To any “normal” person. Who ever lifted a finger instead of destroying others instead. Well I do. So do the non 0.001% of Americans.
““We are lacking a strategy for how to keep pace in an increasing cutthroat race for leadership in new technologies.”
Huh. That’s odd. SINCE YOU INVENTED IT. Zenith TV. Texas Instruments. Intel. So what were you doing in 1950-1980 where you DID keep pace? What was the world like then? Did we value and reward competency? Allow people to keep their money so they could invest in their dreams, called “Capital”?
“Today we invest less in digital and advanced technologies than the US and China, including for defense, and we only have four global European tech players among the top 50 worldwide,” he warned, articulating the reasons why Europe is becoming even less relevant.”
What is he saying here? “WE” invest less, he means “The Government, the technocrats ORDER companies, centrally PLAN investment, rather than let the investment and R&D occur naturally.”
““We are lacking a strategy for how to shield our traditional industries from an unlevel global playing field caused by asymmetries in regulations, subsidies and trade policies,” said Draghi,”
Wow. There’s a solution to that, sir. It’s called “LOW TAX RATE”. Ireland. Deregulation. Texas and Florida. Everyone knows you’re the worst on earth for ordering others around, changing rules, stealing money. As you yourself say, EVEN CHINA IS BETTER. And China is a ruthless, authoritarian, “Socialist” state. You are saying you’re far worse, and your far worse is biting you.
So Stop. Just: STOP! You used to stop, so stop now. All your people are telling you to stop, your stop is bankrupting you, so Stop. But you’re Socialists and you wouldn’t “Own the Cons” so they will die first. Visibly. Trump told them, nothing. All their companies left, nothing. They have no armies, no shells, are about to collapse to Russia, Nothing.
This is why IT’S A RELIGION. Socialism is a Religion. A violent, intolerant, fundamentalist religion, a cult that kills everyone. Draghi here says so. But he can’t leave his religion, so they’re all going to die. The people oppose this, but like Cromwell, the Cult is in charge. Killing all the cows, paving all the fields.
“The Intel Agencies Of Government Are Fully Weaponized
Good point. I mean “Fully” is a big word, we’re not “fully” Stalin yet, but they’re right that essentially their 16 year plan is completing, all the elements are in place, every institution captured and in use. The problem has been elsewhere, in that the more they USE the “weapon” the more resistance they get. So what good is a weapon unused? And if used, it gets WEAKER, not stronger, as resistance pops out of the woodwork like to Bud and Disney, Army recruitment. But, but! I ORDERED them! I made a Rule! Hahahaaha! Sure pal. You’re. Just. So. Cute!
“Sidney Powell Handed Win after Judges Dismiss Disciplinary Effort by Texas State Bar
Disciplined for “Being a lawyer”, “Having opinions”, “Filing paperwork.” Unlike that NYC lawyer who lit policemen on fire?
Jones interview: Harari says “the future isn’t human” So who are you building the future for? So that humans, you, are Unhappy? Shrink? Are trampled? You’re building it in service to…Aliens Overlords? If not for human happiness and prosperity, then WHO? …And normally I would say HIS – and deeply disturbed, mentally ill – views, but I don’t think so. It’s really something else. Is he possessed? By telepathic remote influence of the Annunaki? I’m only half kidding because all that he says makes no sense, even for him. He’s not “Getting rich”, it’s like he’s a kidnapped scientist desperately trying to make that invention so the alien Admiral doesn’t kill him and feed his body to her wasp-larvae. This is somewhat related to the “Illogical criminal” thing I was saying this week. He doesn’t steal, he doesn’t kill, to get money, spend it feel powerful, get the chicks and have a good time. That would be “Human”. He’s doing something else. Creating a world in service of Non-Humans. Why?
…Maybe I don’t care why anymore. I’ll just stop him and think about it no more.
“RFK Jr. at Michigan rally: “I’m gonna put the entire US budget on blockchain”
Maybe I’m missing something but you can’t do that? Crypto doesn’t intact with reality. Anywhere at the reality/Blockchain nexus, people will just Lie. Like the reporting at Ft. Knox, and everywhere else in history. And this is Government, so they will absolutely, definitely LIE. And if they don’t? Then what? They’ve never been arrested or fired for crimes, not doing their job, for 125 years. Yet you’re “Blockchaining it”? This is like passing a new Constitution because we won’t follow the Constitution. Just Follow the Constitution. The first one. (If only this were hyperbole and exaggeration. They literally pass new laws because they won’t enforce the old ones, daily.)
Iran/Israel. Duran interview with Iranian Professor said that Israel is non-rational. But not in the usual way, in the sense that they’re EMOTIONAL. Which is also why they keep losing. They keep acting, reacting, planning, perceiving EMOTIONALLY. So they don’t need to attack Iran while they’re really busy with other things, they FEEL. They FEEL threatened, they FEEL small, they FEEL like they need to make a point. Feel, feel, feel. Okay, we all feel, but they don’t check to see if IRAN feels, who IRAN is. They’re narcissistically self-absorbed, unable to come out of their self-bubble. So they’re reacting to THEMSELVES. The outside world doesn’t exist. THEY didn’t add that, that’s just the obvious downstream conclusion of pointing out that Israel is behaving emotionally and not rationally. So how do you get them out of feeling, of “trauma” they love so much, and back into reality and being Rational?
Wish to God I knew as I’m surrounded by this behavior every day. Every person. Every action. Trying not to pile on this, but it’s the toxic feminine. We are a irrational, feeling culture, and any reason, order, rules, logic, is the enemy. “Don’t tell me to calm down!!” Iran is a zillion miles from Israel. You have to cross like 3 countries to get there, as you noticed even bombing you takes hours in air flight. They’re not out to get you. Leave them alone. Emotionally they’re just Making S—t Up. Everything is somebody else’s fault. Least masculine culture in 10,000 years and not going well. I mean, geez, we all thought the MASCULINE was bad — we didn’t know how good we had it.
“Republicans insist that Biden’s cognitive faculties are declining, and that this decline has accelerated”
Thanks NPR writers at RT. “They” insist. It’s all “them” and they’re crazy. Partially this is a lifetime of reacting to the Media, responding to the Left, just as I do and we do here. So you get so you construct your sentences this way. Like a married co-dependent, create your life around what your wife will think and do of it instead of what’s real, like a normal person.
“• Mobilization Law Condition For New Supplies Of Arms To Kiev By NATO (TASS)
Seemed a Wag, but looks like WES was right. Beyond cynical. Biden’s Slavic genocide. Soup to nuts, no other reason, no other purpose. $200 Billion to kill a mere 700,000 slavs. $300k per kill. But they print the money, don’t work for it, so…
““..Maria Zakharova predicted that the US will eventually face a “loud and humiliating fiasco on par with Vietnam or Afghanistan.”
I hope not. Clearly that was nowhere near enough and our fiasco has to be many times worse for us to stop.
“• Ukraine Can Win – Zelensky (RT)
Speaking of being utterly deranged and devoid of reality. What do you mean by “Win”? They conquer all Russia? They get 5 Oblasts back? Ukraine and all its people doesn’t cease to exist?
Footnotes: Russia has said they will “talk” in the sense that, while they’re conquering the whole country, Kiev is welcome to surrender and end it any time. They might even have a piece left called “Ukraine”. This is an option ONLY until May 21st though. Why then? Russia loses patience and is invading all Europe? No. Ze has refused to call or have elections, as he is “Defending democracy” with our $200B dollars. They have no other plans. Therefore, his term ends 21 and he’ll just be illegally sitting in the chair on May 22, with no legal authority. Anywhere. Internally to Kiev, or externally to the UN. “He just does”. “’Cause we pretend, we say so”. It’s a Western plan. We have a law-that’s-not-a-law in a war-that’s-not-a-war. Both. Neither. I said so. Ai.
Russia don’t play that. On May 22, Ze is not President, cannot legally sign papers (if he did they would use this fact to double cross them), and also has no legal protection as head of state. Yes, that too. He’s just a Ukrainian civilian in a war, who can be killed as a tactical military asset, which he is. I don’t know if they would, Ze’s incompetence and mindless zeal is God’s greatest gift to Russia conquering Ukraine, but he’ll have to be killed someday so he doesn’t retire to his 10 mansions worldwide, at sea level, like Miami. Maybe June 1 is that day. Just saying, this will come up soon.
France arrives in Odessa? Well, nothing happens. They all die, NATO is not activated. …Or so I think, I’ve been wrong before. Can’t believe he actually did this (openly). Macron sure likes French Revolutions. Man, I can’t wait to haul him out to the Place de la Concorde. They’ll have to stretch him first, so Little Jupiter fits.
“Forever war.
• Musk Decries Lack Of ‘Exit Strategy’ In Ukraine Conflict (RT)“Forever” in the sense that one of us will die. To the death. …And clearly that will be “the West”, although thankfully for us, Russia’s in no position to invade and will just ring-fence our insanity for ourselves to make our own punishment: locked in a filthy, violent loony bin with deranged, insane people.
“Russia” missiles, now you know what they’re defending against. Just like history started Jan 2014, or Feb 2020, they just ignore that those aren’t the casualties. Russia would defend against a lot of them are are making nonstop S400s (which shoot into space, past Bezos’ flaccid dick rocket.) They would launch and the death numbers would rise FAR, FAR faster in the whole West. Counter 10x faster. 99 LoftBallons, Nina. Europe especially has concentrated population, is nearby with no lead time, and has no national defense, air or otherwise. But with tsunami-bombs, America’s coast would be hit especially hard, and Americans would cheer. No more NY and DC! No LA and SF! The scourge is lifted! Yay! We can shoot guns, and jump off ropes into the river again!
“..Washington no longer betting on a Ukrainian victory against Russia, but hoping to keep Kiev afloat until the US presidential election in November…”
Are they? Intent.
“the move could undermine the principle of the “inviolability of private… and state property,”
They’re Socialists: they already don’t believe in private property. If it helps the Eternal Glorious People’s Revolution (aka, killing everyone) it’s a prima fascia GOOD. Or rather to be accurate, it’s neither Socialism (obviously) not any other “Progresivism” at all. It’s NeoFeudalism.
“• Trump Arrest Would Cause Nationwide ‘Civil Unrest’ – CNN Analyst (RT)
So they hope. As usual, they report it to DEMAND it, to MAKE us. I’ve read “The Inevitable Incel Uprising”. Huh? Da whut? They’ve been around for centuries and are called “Nerds”. Like Charlie Manson, the Overlords keep telling us we have to kill everyone (like they would) and then trying to set a good example and teach us how to do it. Clearly, it’s that we need to know HOW that’s stopping us, not some other thing, like basic human morality. And reason.
Obomber just put out his “Civil War” teaching us, all those hicks, Bill Hicks, how they’re required to kill everyone. The gays, the Blacks, the Jews, just like they tell us! “Why can’t it Read???” I ORDERED you to destroy yourselves! Why won’t you do it???
Uh-huh. Now 40 years after the militias and preppers saw all this coming and refused in like 1990. Why can’t YOU read? Why can’t YOU learn, Mr. FBI. You hand out $5,000 like candy to any mentally disturbed retard you can find, have 13 out of 15 agents be entrapment, and STILL can’t get any uptake to your stupid, violent ideas. That’s a level of utter failure I didn’t think possible. You can’t get Billy-Bob with fetal alcohol syndrome, high on meth, to accept FREE MONEY to shoot guns? You have to get an Antifa guy to do it? Jesus Christ you guys are failures. How have we not defeated you yet?
Anyway, here’s CNN tellin’ us how to do it right, again. Didn’t they learn in 2020? The Right did not counter-protest, counter-arson, counter-bomb, but left Antifa to and BLM to kill all the Black people themselves? Slow learners. Okay man. Well all 10 CNN watchers will be totally informed. If you want anybody to hear about this, you may want to write it on a rock and throw it in the ocean: the viewership is higher.
“After weeks of trying to secure a bond and arguing to an appeals court that a $454 million bond was “impossible,”
This is all nonsense, and it’s technically true. I don’t know if we’ve mentioned it here: Trump CANNOT issue a bond. Literally. And that’s relevant to the case here, as the judge’s argument is the company isn’t good for it. Why? BECAUSE THERE ARE NO BILLION DOLLAR BOND COMPANIES on earth. There never needed to be one before, because the penalty is so 20x out of line with all historical norms on Planet Earth for the last 10,000 years. What, is Trump going to escape? Take the Millennium Falcon on the Kessel Run to Endor? WTF would he go, or his real estate? He’s larger than all the Bond companies.
The Judge’s problem is, Trump FOUND a bond company, and he wasn’t supposed to, and the bond company isn’t under their merger-of-state-and-corporation control and not in NY, so the Judge says the bond company is over leveraged and not good enough – as we’ve already seen his amazing business acumen in establishing the value of things.
“ Michael Avenatti Flips, Willing To Testify On Trump’s Behalf (ZH)
So…we’d want a liar, a thief, a perjurer, and extortionist as his witness? That’s ridiculous, Cohen is the only embezzling perjurer we always believe. Congress especially believe him! Professional Courtesy.
Okay, more? Avenatti was Daniels’ attorney, that’s why he stole all her money. So there is attorney-client privilege they will claim, which will be hilarious in Trump’s case, having regularly arrested all his lawyers for…lawyering.
““They’re afraid of the agencies,” he stated, adding: “That’s not compatible with democracy.”
• US Lawmakers Scared Of Being Framed For ‘Kiddie Porn’ – Tucker Carlson (RT)That’s a ridiculous conspiracy theory. That’s why Schumer said “They have six ways to Sunday to get you.” on national TV. “Everybody knows”, until they don’t know, then they know again, they they don’t know.
“In case you missed it, Tucker Carlson says Intelligence agencies BLACKMAlLED Congressmembers.”
I believe actual events and cases have come up regularly – and that’s not them mailing white powder from Ft Dietrick or having 4-5 small plane crashes at the same time. I mean actual, later proven interference. How about Obama wiretapping the entire AP?

Good Grief!
(paraphrase) You had no mind to lose and you know itApril 22, 2024 at 1:05 pm #157518Dr. DParticipantThis week on Slate, more raw, unthinking hate for anyone deciding to be a mother. By a mother! Of course. https://slate.com/human-interest/2024/04/fertility-rate-motherhood-maternity-bible-catherine-pakaluk.html
She’s right, they ARE on a different planet. But I’m not deconstructing the mothers of America, I’m deconstructing Slate authors who hate their children so much, the thought of having even one other is incomprehensible and physically pains them.
“All my kids are wearing hand-me-down clothing,” one mother says” Oh no.
“They find a kind of deep satisfaction in it,” What? How bizarre. Isn’t ego-self the sum purpose of female existence?
“especially after the fourth or fifth one, such that they come to think that a big family compensates for everything else they’ve lost.” Really, what did they “lose”? That nice corner office with a 60-hour schedule, being constantly s—t upon by strangers while fielding work calls 24/7 even at home, for a mere 5 figures?
“They don’t sleep, they lose their “figures,” Yes, we all know that going out to nightclubs and staying hot in your 50s is why humans were born. True. Satisfaction. You can finally die happy, surrounded by no one.
“And if they keep on working outside the home, it’s at a reduced intensity.”
Why would you want to have kids, when you can mommy your boss in a carpeted cube-farm on behalf of “Capitalism” instead? Surely only the sad, religious deranged wouldn’t prefer nonstop Overtime and corporate flights in coach with the Holiday Inn over playing with your children all day. What a bunch of weirdos. I definitely pick dodging s–t on the “R” train to a 400sq ft hovel in Bushwick over kissing my kids all day but having to do some laundry like those dreadful Tradwives. How gauche!
“This is a book about the romance of having a big family, and its interviewees speak in almost mystical ways about the experience.”
That’s ridiculous, we all know “mysticism” doesn’t exist and is a myth. There is only dry reason, devoid of all spirit and human emotion. “We all know” and are way cooler than that. What a bunch of superstitious hicks. Nothing exists in a heartless, dead universe: then you die! Chin up, girlfriend!
“These women have also thrown themselves on the mercy of a man”
Instead of a faceless multinational corporation of raw Capitalist evil? How dare they? We all know women are made to love corporations and HATE men: that’s basic human evolution.
“The interviewees have some memories of small gripes with their husbands in the exhausted days of early motherhood, but beyond that, they say they have watched their husbands “step up” and have loved them more because of it.”
This constant increase of love is a sad, bad thing to her. So shallow. Quite pathetic and meaningless. Not like us cool gilrz from Brown and Columbia.
“Women who have no children, or one or two kids—people like me—are pursuing “lifestyle” and “identity” and “individualism,” these mothers say. We want a life that’s—as Pakaluk puts it—“autonomous, customized, self-regarding.” Our feminism is irrational and a sham. We want to take more vacations and drive fancy cars. We don’t feel actual happiness in our little families, because smaller families cannot possibly be as happy as big ones. In fact, we do not know what in life would make us truly happy.”
Yeah, that’s a totally crazy diagnosis considering you just wrote a whole article proving their point.
Case #1,596 of how much Feminism hates women. You can be any woman you want: So long as it’s a childless, neurotic, corporate minion who unfailingly supports worldwide global communism and the oligarchs who run it. That’s “Pro-Choice”! Women are free to be anything they want to be, except wives, mothers…
…Or “Happy”.
Technically, this is “The Onion”. Rebecca Onion. http://www.rebeccaonion.com/about/ And it’s Yale, not Columbia, my bad.

I hear you about the kangaroo video, (it looked staged, to me.). My home was invaded by roof rats to longer than I care to admit. I was very frustrated the day that spouse told me he had been sitting on the pot and seen a rat creep out from under the tub in our bathroom, and how CUTE it looked. They may be cute. They may have hands. They may even live, but NOT in my house, and stay away from my orange tree!
I was ready to whoop for joy when I finally rooted out the last one. I had a re-infestation for a couple months this past winter, but now that I know how to get them out and keep them out, the house is rat-free once again. They leave their excrement and urine everywhere and never stop chewing — I’ve been repairing wiring damage in my attic. But, hey, if TSHTF, I can help others catch their roof rats and then supply them to one of my cats, as he enjoys eating them. It’s healthier than cat kibble.
April 22, 2024 at 3:44 pm #157528jb-hbParticipantThe Russians are building Tuff Sheds on their tanks. Mostly metal kits, but sometimes wood. Looks really janky.
Several cool things about this though:
1. It blocks drones
2. Forces shaped charges (drones or otherwise) to pre-detonate
3. Looks like a shed to satellites
4. Heat – masks the tank on infra-red
5. Confuses optical targeting for drones and missiles. They’re looking for a tank shape and on that tank shape, they want to hit specific locations. They don’t know much about targeting garden sheds. Might get so confused they won’t even auto lock at all.
So the tank is not obsolete, it’s just reached the next stage of evolution – garden shed.

can plastic be reversed back into fossil fuel-based chemicals,
Copilot
Using the webCertainly! Plastic can indeed be reversed back into fossil fuel-based chemicals through various recycling processes. Let’s explore a few methods:
Pyrolysis:
Pyrolysis is an advanced plastics recycling technique that subjects post-consumer plastics to intense heat in an oxygen-starved environment.
During pyrolysis, plastic molecules break apart, yielding a type of oil similar to plastic’s petroleum feedstock, along with some waste byproducts.
Companies like Brightmark are using pyrolysis to process plastic waste and produce oil that can be used to manufacture new plastic, promoting true circularity in the supply chain1.Chemical Recycling:
Chemical recycling involves altering the chemical structure of waste plastic using additives.
By converting waste plastic back into substances that can serve as raw materials, it becomes possible to create fuels like petrol and diesel2.Infinite Recycling:
Chemical recycling aims to recycle even the unrecyclable.
All types of plastic can be fed into an “infinite” recycling system that unmakes plastics back into oil, which can then be used to create new plastic3.
While these methods show promise, there are ongoing debates about their environmental impact and whether they perpetuate a dependence on fossil fuels. However, advancements in plastic recycling continue to evolve, offering hope for a more sustainable future.Learn more

Somehow I managed to put my fate in the hands of a real imperfect woman over that of faceless uncaring corporations. She is still with me but those 2 corporations disappeared me. They used me to make money and I used their money to support my family. The money is mostly gone but I still have my family.
With birth control and more career opportunities women have more control over their lives. Men are having to re-adjust accordingly. A certain number of women are not maternal, so these women are choosing not to have children, whereas before they often had to have children as there were few alternate choices for them.
However, the jury is still out as to whether these non-maternal women are happier or not. Some of these non-maternal women are having as much difficulty adjusting as are the single men. My best guess is many older single women and men will be less than fully satisfied with their fates as time goes on. It is just human nature at work.

Another thing to consider for your son is whether to take on a full semester of courses or not.
For example spreading the fall and winter courses over 3 semesters fall, winter, and spring and summer. Your son won’t really know whether he can handle the stress of a full course load until he tries it. But if it proves too overwhelming, then consider reducing the number of courses per semester.
My daughter has a classmate who has only been taking a part-time course load knowing that it would take over 5 years to complete her 4 years. She spreads her courses over into the spring and summer too. This helps her keep the stress down.
As a result of this classmate’s approach, my daughter this winter dropped 3 of her 5 courses this winter smester (became too overwhelmed and stressed) so she could focus on her 2 most important time consuming courses that summed up her entire schooling (weekly reports and presentations). Her only breaks were watching the Toronto Maple Leafs snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
She will be taking her music elective online this spring (6 weeks – two x 3 hour lectures per week) leaving her the summer off at the cottage. In the fall she will take her last 2 courses. So 5-1/2 years total time. There is more than one way to skin a cat!
P.S Your son needs to ensure he has some sort of relief time built into his studies. Some type of physical exercise like short walks when he feels he is just spinning his wheels while studying. He needs mental breaks to release any frustration buildups. Besides walks, my daughter would sometimes go for a drive in the country to her favorite little village.
Sometimes you can get more done by just taking a short break from studying than by just continuing
spinning your wheels! Also if one decides fairly early on to take 5 years or so, to do a 4 year program, then it releases the pressure about the extra time required because you have already accepted it up front.

What mechanism do you use to replace admitting making a mistake
CopilotAdmitting a mistake can indeed be challenging, and various psychological factors come into play. Here are some reasons why it’s difficult to acknowledge errors:
Ego Protection: Our ego, tied to self-importance and self-esteem, resists admitting mistakes. Acknowledging error might feel like a blow to our sense of self rather than a normal human imperfection1.Fear of Judgment: Humans crave social approval, and admitting mistakes can threaten our social standing. We fear looking foolish in front of others, so we often avoid owning up to errors1.
Social Norms: Conforming to societal norms can hinder admitting mistakes. Going against the norm feels vulnerable and invites criticism or ridicule1.
Vulnerability: Admitting error exposes our vulnerability, which can be uncomfortable. We want to maintain a positive self-image and avoid feeling inadequate1.
Perfectionism: If our self-esteem is tied to competency, we strive to be right. Acknowledging mistakes challenges this self-image1.
Workplace Dynamics: In work relationships, admitting mistakes can complicate things, but outright lying is often worse1.Learning from Mistakes: Accepting errors as part of growth allows us to learn from them. Tolerating mistakes creates room for improvement2.
Self-Compassion: Being compassionate toward ourselves helps us accept consequences and build self-respect3.
Remember, embracing vulnerability and acknowledging mistakes contribute to personal growth and healthier relationships.Learn more

I had that problem when living in in NZ. I trapped the rats using peanut butter, they love that stuff. Once they had all gone, the possums moved in and that was even worse. They would chase each other around the roof space making a lot of noise and sounding like they were about to fall through the ceiling. They would sometimes climb out the roof and sit in front of the french doors, looking at me in the living room as if I was infesting their house. I soon got rid of them with traps, but once caught in a trap they again would make a hell of a noise dying. Such is life. After that I sealed the roof with wire and enjoyed a decent night’s sleep.

If supplementing with 5000 units/d long term already, this should be good to continue. If not, then doubling it for the first 2 weeks is a good idea. Adding vitamin K2, if available, is good.
Sunlight helps the immune system in other ways, also, so a couple of 20 minute sessions walking in the sun per day should be good. Activity outside is good. Getting too tired is not good.

US To Sanction Entire IDF Battalion Over Alleged Human Rights Abuses [Is this an actual attempt to rein in the most visible offenses of Israeli genocide?]
Axios is reporting what marks an unexpected and unprecedented development in US-Israel relations: the Biden administration will in the coming days announce sanctions against an entire battalion of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Three US officials told the outlet that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will unveil the punitive measures against the IDF’s “Netzah Yehuda” battalion for its allegedly committing human rights abuses against Palestinians in the West Bank. It is an ultra orthodox brigade founded in 1999 in coordination with rabbis who sought to allow easier entry into the military of a religious community which typically rejects national service.
The controversial battalion has also served in Gaza Strip operations, as well as in the north of Israel. The Times of Israel has highlighted, “The battalion has been at the center of several controversies in the past connected to right-wing extremism and violence against Palestinians, notably including the 2022 death of Omar As’ad, a 78-year-old Palestinian-American who died after being detained, handcuffed, blindfolded, and later abandoned in near-freezing conditions by soldiers of the battalion.”
Blinken on Friday appeared to confirm that the sanctions are imminent. “You can expect to see them in the days ahead,” Blinken said in response to a question about potential Leahy law violations. The 1997 law bans the possibility of US foreign aid or DOD training programs going to foreign entities found to have committed human rights abuses.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately blasted the coming US move in a Saturday message on X, writing:
“The IDF must not be sanctioned!” he wrote on X. “I’ve been working in recent weeks against the sanctioning of Israeli citizens, including in my conversations with the American administration.”
“At a time when our soldiers are fighting terrorist monsters, the intention to issue sanctions against a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low,” he added, committing to “fight the move.”…
..According to Axios, “The sanctions will ban the battalion and its members from receiving any kind of U.S. military assistance or training, the sources said.”

An official in the Palestine Liberation Organization said on Saturday that Israel is committing a “genocide” in the Nur Shams camp for the third day in a row as the Israeli army continues to storm the Tulkarm city and the Nur Shams camp resulting in several casualties, Anadolu Agency reports.
“The siege has been ongoing since Thursday evening. The Israeli army is besieging the camp from all sides. No one can enter or leave it,” Mu’ayyad Shaa’ban, the head of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, told Anadolu.
“The situation is catastrophic and difficult in every sense of the word,” he said.
Shaa’ban pointed out that “the Israeli army forces bombed Palestinian homes with Energa bombs where two martyrs were officially reported.” “A number of martyrs are believed to be on the streets and neither ambulances nor even citizens can reach them,” he added.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said on Friday that “the Israeli army continues to prevent ambulances from entering the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm in the West Bank thus obstructing the transfer of injured people.”
The Palestinian official said the Israeli army is arresting dozens of residents.
Shaa’ban called on the international community to intervene urgently to save the residents and allow medical teams to enter the camp to evacuate the casualties.
“All residents of the camp have become hostages with no food or electricity, cut off from the outside world due to the ongoing siege and military operations,” Shaa’ban said.
Late Thursday, Israeli Army Radio announced that the army began implementing a “broad-scale military operation” in the Nur Shams refugee camp, without specifying the objective or duration. https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20240420-palestinian-official-says-israel-committing-genocide-in-nur-shams-camp-in-occupied-west-bank/Blinken reveals US stance on potential Israeli invasion of Rafah , A major offensive would have “terrible consequences,” the US Secretary of State has said https://www.rt.com/news/596255-us-israel-military-operation-rafah/
Israel Just Launched a Brutal Attack on Rafah. “Beyond Shame, Beyond Crime…” [Approval by the Biden Admin. seems likely, but we are not certain.]
Brutality, atrocity no end. Horrendous indiscriminate firebombing of Gaza’s southernmost city, Rafah.
We know Netanyahu does not move a finger without Washington’s OK. [Was this ever completely true?]
This was clearly proven by the benign counterattack on Iran – to “retaliate” against Iran’s 14 April “checkmate” (Scott Ritter) retaliatory attack on Israel. Retaliating against Israel’s blowing up Iran’s Consulate in Damascus on 1 April and killing seven Iranians, including two military officers. [Not the same. Iran can accurately strike Israeli targets.]
President Biden demanded Netanyahu not to risk a large-scale war, to be soft with his retaliation. By contrast, Biden must have given Netanyahu green light to do away with Rafah, where currently more than a million Palestinians are stranded – bombed from the North of Gaza to the southern tip, Rafah, the locked gate to Egypt. https://www.globalresearch.ca/israel-brutal-attack-rafah/5855398April 22, 2024 at 11:16 pm #157554John DayParticipantIsraeli Strikes in Rafah Kill 22, Including 18 Children
Israeli strikes hit the southern Gaza city of Rafah Saturday night into Sunday morning, killing 22 people, including 18 children, The Associated Press reported.
The bombardment came just hours after the US House of Representatives passed a $26 billion bill that includes about $17 billion in military aid for Israel to support the slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza.
According to AP, one of the overnight strikes killed a man, his wife, and their three-year-old child. The woman was 30 weeks pregnant, and medical staff at the nearby Kuwaiti hospital were able to save the baby. The second strike killed two women and 17 children. https://news.antiwar.com/2024/04/21/israeli-strikes-kill-22-in-rafah-including-18-children/US Blocking Full UN Membership for Palestine – And US Congress Passes Law Depriving Palestine of Freedom of Speech
The United States single-handedly vetoed Palestine from full UN membership, thereby blocking the world body’s recognition of a Palestinian State. The vote in the 15-member Security Council was 12 in favor, the US opposed and two abstentions, the UK and Switzerland.
What is largely called Palestine, has since 2012 a non-member observer status. An application for full membership with voting rights must be approved by the UN Security Council and two-thirds of the General Assembly…
..On Wednesday, 17 April, the US House of Representatives passed a Resolution, condemning the chanting of the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”… If nothing else, the Resolution is a breach on Freedom of Speech, as per the US Constitution’s First Amendment:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
The Resolution passed Wednesday is a blatant attempt to abridge the freedom of speech. It is reminiscent of book burning in the not-too-distant past. Yes, humanity is progressing fast but backwards. In more ways than one.
The supporters of the Resolution claim that the chant is “antisemitic”, even though the word Jew never appears in it. It only claims or wishes freedom for Palestine…
..Looking back at almost forgotten history, on 13 December, 1993, then U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher, signed the Oslo Peace Accords. These accords, which have the force of U.S. Law, specified that Israel would withdraw from Gaza and the Palestinian West Bank by 1997 and turn their governance over to the Palestine Authority, that is, the State of Palestine. https://www.globalresearch.ca/us-blocking-full-un-membership-palestine/5855323I am not holding my breath. Alastair Crooke, Will Zionism Self-Destruct?
What occurred this Saturday 14 April … was of utmost importance.
Despite the bruhaha and distraction following Iran’s attack, Israel and the U.S. know the truth: Iran’s missiles were able to penetrate directly into Israel’s two most sensitive and highly defended air bases and sites. Behind the whooping western rhetoric lies Israeli shock and fear. Their bases are no longer ‘untouchable’.
Israel also knows – but cannot admit – that the so-called ‘assault’ was no assault but an Iranian message to assert the new strategic equation: That any Israeli attack on Iran or its personnel will result in retribution from Iran into Israel…
..(We) are still trying to understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the lens of secular, rationalist concepts – even as Israel quite evidently is seized by an increasingly Apocalyptic frenzy.
And by extension, we are stuck in trying to address the conflict through our habitual utilitarian, rationalist policy tool-set. And we wonder why it is not working. It is not working because all parties have moved beyond mechanical rationalism to a different plane.
Last year’s election in Israel saw a revolutionary change: The Mizrahim walked into the Prime Minister’s office. These Jews coming from the Arab and North African sphere – now possibly the majority – and, with their political allies on the right, embraced a radical agenda: To complete the founding of Israel on the Land of Israel (i.e. no Palestinian State); to build the Third Temple (in place of Al-Aqsa); and to institute Halachic Law (in place of secular law).
None of this is what might be termed ‘secular’ or liberal. It was intended as the revolutionary overthrow of the Ashkenazi élite. It was Begin who tied the Mizrahi firstly to the Irgun and then to Likud. The Mizrahim now in power have a vision of themselves as the true representatives of Judaism, with the Old Testament as their blueprint. And condescend to the European Ashkenazi liberals…
..We might term this ‘hot eschatology’ – a mode that is running wild amongst the young Israeli military cadres, to the point that the Israeli high command is losing control on the ground (lacking any mid-layer NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) class)…
..Then, at another level, we have, as it were, ‘dispassionate eschatology’: When Yahyah Sinwar writes of ‘Victory or Martyrdom ’for his people in Gaza; when Hizbullah speaks of sacrifice; and when the Iranian Supreme Leader speaks of Hussain bin Ali (the grandson of the Prophet) and some 70 companions in 680 CE, standing before inexorable slaughter against an 1,000 strong army, in the name of Justice, these sentiments simply are beyond the reach of western Utilitarian comprehension…
..Just occasionally, very occasionally, a military revolution can upend the prevailing strategic paradigm. This was Qasem Suleimani’s key insight. This is what ‘active deterrence’ implies. The switch to a strategy that could upend prevailing paradigms.
Both Israel and the U.S. have armies that are conventionally far more powerful than their adversaries which are mostly composed of small non-state rebels or revolutionaries…
..The West, however, has not fully assimilated the military revolutions now underway. There has been a radical shift in the balance of power between low-tech improvisation and expensive complex (and less robust) weapons platforms…
..The philosophy driving this military strategy is clear: the West is over-invested in air dominance and in its carpet fire power. It prioritises ‘shock and awe’ thrusts, but quickly exhausts itself early in the encounter. This rarely can be sustained for long. The Resistance aim is to exhaust the enemy.
The second key principle driving this new military approach concerns the careful calibration of the intensity of conflict, upping and lowering the flames as appropriate; and, at the same time, keeping escalatory dominance within the Resistance’s control…
..Israelis widely believe that without deterrence – without the world fearing them – they cannot survive. October 7 set this existential fear burning through Israeli society. Hezbollah’s very presence only exacerbates it – and now Iran has rained missiles down into Israel directly.
The opening of the Iranian front, in a certain way, initially may have benefited Netanyahu: the IDF defeat in the Gaza war; the hostage release impasse; the continuing displacement of Israelis from the north; and even the murder of the World Kitchen aid workers – all are temporarily forgotten…
..Netanyahu senses Biden’s weakness and has the tools and knowhow by which he can manipulate U.S. politics: Indeed, worked in this way, Netanyahu might force Biden to continue to arm Israel, and even to embrace his widening of the war to Hizbullah in Lebanon…
..Rational argument advocating moderation is read as inviting defeat.
All of which is to say that Israelis are psychologically very far from being able to reconsider the content to the Zionist project of Jewish special rights. For now, they are on a completely different path, trusting to a Biblical reading that many Israelis have come to view as mandatory injunctions under Halachic Law…
..A ‘trial of strength’ between Israel and the Resistance Fronts ranged against it likely cannot be avoided. The die has been deliberately cast this way.
Netanyahu is gambling big with Israel’s – and America’s – future. And he may lose. If there is a regional war, and Israel suffers defeat, then what?
When exhaustion (and defeat) finally settles in, and the parties ‘scrabble in the drawer’ for new solutions to their strategic distress, the truly transformative solution would be for an Israeli leader to think the ‘unthinkable’ – to think of one state between the River and the Sea. And, for Israel – tasting the bitter herbs of ‘things fallen apart’ – to talk directly with Iran. https://strategic-culture.su/news/2024/04/22/will-zionism-self-destruct/Israel Targets Syrian Air Defense Sites, Causing Significant Damage , Attack was launched concurrently to a drone raid on Iran’s Isfahan
Timed concurrently to the Iran attack, it is probable that Israel considered this part of their “retaliation” against Iran, as they treat Syria as a de facto proxy of Iran.
Israel carries out attacks on Syria fairly regularly, and there have been over a hundred such strikes against targets inside Syria, mostly targeting Syria’s military or its Iranian advisers. https://news.antiwar.com/2024/04/19/israel-targets-syrian-air-defense-sites-causing-significant-damage/Ukraine Gets Their Billions Despite CIA Director Reportedly Warning Zelenksy To Stop Stealing So Much Money

In economic terms, material prosperity is at, or very near, the point at which prior growth inflects into contraction. Meanwhile, the real costs of necessities are continuing to rise. The result is leveraged compression of the affordability of discretionary (non-essential) products and services…
..The projections provided by SEEDS don’t, at first sight, look particularly frightening. In comparison with 2023, aggregate prosperity is forecast only fractionally lower by 2030, though 14% reduced by 2040. The world’s average person is set to be 7% poorer by 2030, and 25% less prosperous by 2040. This is a far cry from the imminent economic “collapse” predicted by some.
The devil, though, is in the detail. Whilst the world’s average person may be “only” 7% poorer by 2030, his or her cost of essentials is projected to rise by 14% in real terms over that period. This means that per capita PXE – Prosperity eXcluding Essentials – will fall by 17% in the coming seven years, and will have more than halved (-54%) by 2040.As well as ceasing to be able to afford costly holidays, a new car or entertainment subscriptions, and in addition being unable to respond to the allure of the advertised, the average person is going to find it increasingly hard to ‘keep up the payments’ on all of the mortgages, secured and unsecured loans and broader financial commitments taken on in the years of reckless credit expansion…
..It was never likely that we would choose to address environmental and ecological hazard by voluntarily relinquishing our fixation with “growth”. One doesn’t need to be unduly cynical to think that sustainability alone could never have been sold to the public as a choice preferable to consumerism. This, perhaps, is why the pursuit of environmental responsibility has been presented to the public as a promise of “sustainable growth”.
As the economy inflects from growth into contraction, two trends, at least, are clear. The first is that we’re going to have to prioritise needs over wants. The second is that we’ll have to redesign a financial system built on the false predicate of infinite, exponential economic expansion on a finite planet. https://surplusenergyeconomics.wordpress.com/2024/04/22/276-the-worthington-factor/comment-page-1/#respondThe Irony Is Thick – Congress Passes FISA-702 Extension, Allowing Warrantless Document Searches and Electronic Surveillance of Americans, on Patriots Day

All of it continues to be subject to the capture, review and surveillance of an unelected opaque law enforcement mechanism, and Congress supports it.

The White House on Friday announced that US military forces will be withdrawn from Niger over the coming months. The move comes after Niger’s mid-March declaration that was ending its military cooperation with the United States.
Following Niger’s announcement, US military officials scrambled in vain to salvage the relationship. At stake: The $110 million Air Base 201, which the New York Times characterized as the Pentagon’s “most strategic military asset in sub-Saharan Africa.” Said to be a key base for counterterrorism, it was a major hub for drone operations in the region. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/biden-withdraw-troops-niger-region-increasingly-turns-russia“Not so Fast!” , Moon of Alabama looks closer. The U.S. drone base in Niger is used by the Pentagon and CIA to keep control of ISIS in the region. So are U.S. troops really leaving Niger? Of course not – at least not yet.
The next paragraph reveals what was really agreed upon. It makes it obvious that the U.S. wants to delay the issue as long as possible:
“We’ve agreed to begin conversations within days about how to develop a plan” to withdraw troops, said the senior State Department official. “They’ve agreed that we do it in an orderly and responsible way. And we will need to probably dispatch folks to Niamey to sit down and hash it out. And that of course will be a Defense Department project.” ([“We agreed to start talking about how to start planning to withdraw US troops. This should be ‘orderly and responsible’

Multiple COVID Shots Linked to Higher Mortality Rates in 18- to 39-Year-Olds
Young people who received multiple COVID-19 jabs were significantly more likely to die than those who skipped the shots, according to data from the U.K.’s Office for National Statistics.
An analysis by The Exposé revealed that, in February 2023, those who received four COVID-19 shots had a 318% higher mortality rate than the unvaccinated group.
The other months analyzed showed four-shot teens and youth were between 221% and 290% more likely to die than those who didn’t get the shot.
Another study found that, compared to unvaccinated children, vaccinated children had significantly higher rates of asthma, allergies, eczema, respiratory infections, behavioral issues and other health conditions.
Separate research showed that “for every life saved, there were nearly 14 times more deaths caused by the modified mRNA [COVID-19] injections.” https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/multiple-covid-shots-higher-mortality-rates-cola/April 22, 2024 at 11:19 pm #157557John DayParticipantSignificant Increases in Cancer Mortality After COVID mRNA Vaccination, Japanese Researchers Find A Japanese peer-reviewed study found statistically significant increases in cancer mortality, especially after the third COVID-19 mRNA vaccine dose. WHO Press Conference Warns of Global Avian Influenza H5N1 Outbreak, Wellness Company Extends Contagion Kit to Cover Bird Flu
Over the past few weeks we have reported this fact pattern about highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 otherwise known as bird flu:
Infection has been around for decades among poultry flocks and has been made much worse by the Chinese and others mass vaccinating poultry for > 20 years. The US is on the verge of making this colossal public health error contaminating chicken meat with novel genetic vaccines on the horizon.
Gain-of-function research is being done to likely make the virus become more infectious, more lethal, and jump to man with human-to-human spread
Government subsidies encourage farmers to destroy large number of birds when bird flu is detected by PCR testing in poultry. Cattle restrictions have started.
The CSL Seqirus human avian influenza vaccine has already been FDA approved.
Multiple public health agencies have indicated that bird flu may be the Disease X; we have been forewarned and should get ready just ahead of WHO Pandemic Agreement meetings in May, 2024 https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/who-press-conference-warns-of-globalA Midwestern Doctor presents research about the pandemic of gender dysphoria, largely among vaccine-injured children and teens.

Sowing Anachronism: How to be Weird in Public, and Private , Flip phones, dip ink, Vespers, and other time machines
Several years ago, when we lived in the thick of the suburban jungle, we would load up the jogging stroller with a toddler, strap the youngest in a carrier, while our eldest sauntered alongside, and embark on an urban pilgrimage to the grocery store. I (Ruth) carried along the same backpack I had used while hiking the Camino1, except now it was filled to the brim with milk, pasta, fruit and vegetables, and had baguettes strapped on the sides. Although we did not manage to do all our shopping this way, we made it a regular habit to walk2 rather than drive, trading convenience for a less tangible reward. It was one of the small anachronisms that resisted the unbearably fast pace of life, and prompted many a driver who zoomed past to take note and wonder: Why would anyone choose to do something so slow and effortful?
Now that we live on the edge of Mennonite country, we frequently encounter horse-drawn carriages conveying families to the grocery store or church, young ruddy-cheeked men and women cycling long distances to school or work, or gaggles of children walking alongside the fields toward home. https://schooloftheunconformed.substack.com/p/sowing-anachronism-how-to-be-weirdCosmic Thunderbolt Will Strike The Earth – Thunderbolt of the Gods https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_skOWzN5ziE

Yes, those were the good olde days when boys could be boys!
We used to put Lady fingers in empty .22 cartridges and aim them with a small pipe.
We also used to put 2 inchers in empty 30-30 cartridges and shotgun cartridges and shoot them straight up via a pipe and then try and catch them.
We even put little paper parachutes with strings on top of the cartidges too.
If aimed correctly we could place an empty 30-30 cartridge onto the roof of a house!
Then hiding in the tall grass, we would watch the bewildered home owner step outside to investigate the loud thud hitting their roof!
Then the time delayed firecrackers on the road for the local police patrol! Then Jermary Price – Williams calmly lighting a 2 incher in classroom, then throwing it out the pre – opened window, then quickly and quietly closing the window, then sitting all innocent like after it went off with a loud bang outside!
The look on all the girl’s wide open eyes and faces, as they watched Jermary slowly but surely blow up the class’s boredom was priceless!April 23, 2024 at 1:41 am #157562WESParticipantZerosum:

Why are Palestinian protesters, and even rioters, allowed to roam the Cities, scream, shout, sit, block traffic, enter buildings, not get permits, and basically do whatever they want including threatening Supreme Court Justices right in front of their homes, and yet people who truly LOVE our Country, and want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, are not allowed to “Peacefully Protest,” and are rudely and systematically.”
Trump CANNOT label the contestants correctly, Palestinians versus Israelis, well, unless of course he KNOWS that The United States is at war with Palestine. What could be the motivation?
