Forty percent of all Covid-19 deaths in the United States have occurred in long-term care facilities.
by Kenny Stancil, staff writer“While early action to prevent the spread of coronavirus in long-term care facilities led to strict protocols related to testing, personal protective equipment, and visitor restrictions,” KFF pointed out that “several of these measures have been reversed in recent months, and some long-term care facilities continue to report shortages of PPE and staff.”
According to physician and public health expert Michael Barnett, 7.7% of the nation’s nursing home residents, or one in 13, have now died as a result of Covid-19. “Things have never really gotten better,” he tweeted. “Testing is a struggle, PPE and staff are daily challenges.”

(Bloomberg) — The world is awash with too much savings and central banks don’t have the tools on their own to combat the economic stagnation that’s a result.
That was one of the conclusions of a high-powered panel at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum on Monday that included former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and ex-U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers.
I’ll give my opinion.
They are lying. Here is the real problem.
Banks have already spent the saving of people. Its gone. Therefore, if people want to get their savings, the banks cannot give it to the savers without printing more money.
That is the same problem with all the pension plans. The money is gone. All pension are now paid out from printed money.

The way forward is obvious: stop the Fed from blowing ever-larger bubbles and eliminate cartels and monopolies. But that will require ending the absurd farce of pay-to-play “democracy” that enables the debt / asset bubbles and cartels / monopolies.

I feel like it’s pretty short-sighted to criticize hungry people for having a means to get food. 8. Lies are bad enough. But you can easily spot and fight most lies. Euphemisms, on the other hand, are extremely insidious and much more dangerous. Euphemisms are the trained Judas goats calmly leading you to slaughter.
