The judge is helping out getting this to a contingent vote faster than ever. When he moves quickly, it quickly appeals to the Supreme Court. There are very few Trump lawsuits, and their premise and Constitutional basis is clear: Equality under the law in Bush v Gore. NOT fraud. So I don’t know why he would have to prove fraud he’s not proposing. Now I didn’t read this case, but that’s my understanding.
What is equal under the law? 1) Any voter irregularities were attempted to be healed ONLY in blue districts. 2) Mail in and in-person voting were treated not a little, but VERY differently. And 3) I don’t know if in this particular lawsuit, the vote thus counted are in strong violation of the PA Legislature voting law, and invented by the AG and an activist Judge. They have no authority to make up voting rules, so you can’t extend voting day to weeks beforehand, or extend it for 12 hours after the polls close. Yes that would be 4am the next day when 100,000 votes were found, all in one direction.
But that’s not fraud, that’s equality. So what do you want the Judge to do when YOU intentionally ran and election in general violation of many previously established norms and laws? Just allow it to happen? You see the problem: when you run a game now without rules, NEITHER side can clearly win. But that’s not the fault of the sports teams: it’s the fault of the referees. And not to bother with that the Refs were all DNC deciding over the heated objections of the GOP, but we COULD normally just re-play the game, as offensive and problematic as that solution might be. But in this case, barring some amazing cooperation, we won’t have time.
So what WOULD you like to do? Disenfranchise voters who followed the old rules and were on time, or disenfranchise potential voters who followed the new rules made up illegally by unauthorized referees? Someone is disenfranchised either way, one man, one judge, picks the winner and loser either way. Of course I would pick whoever punishes a referee who just suddenly made up all the rules in the middle of the game as a warning to others that laws matter and cheating never wins, but that’s just me.

But getting back to the point: the PA and MI legislatures can refuse to certify, so long as someone has created adequate shouting and discussion of fraud. Not even actual fraud, since no one will look, but that’s okay in this case, since there is widespread, overwhelming evidence of fraud, easily demonstrated, now or later, should any governmental agency ever look.

In medicine, there is a clear-cut line: if patients come in but refuse treatment, they can be discharged and leave. DAMA, “Discharge Against Medical Advice.” IF ONLY you could get into the hospital, because apparently you have rights there but not at home. At home, you cannot decline treatment against medical advice and be left alone. #OppositeLand. They can harass and imprison you at home but not in a hospital. In a hospital you don’t have to obey the rules, but at home you must. You also cannot be committed against your will by a doctor or hospital except under a rigorous and lengthy process rules. However, you can be fined, arrested, or even beaten over Covid for nothing. Does that sound like it comports with any law or medical ethics as we understand them?
These people of her county seem to be doing a very clear medical act: they are requesting AMA, to be left alone. If she is a medical nurse, shouldn’t she know what that is? Should she not know and follow the nationwide legal process about it? Or is a hospital the only place I can get medical freedom and refuse treatment these days? So long as I’m taking up a hospital bed, NOT being treated, I’m safe. Only if I go home is treatment forced on me.
At least she finally noticed that her abuse of medical ethics and lack of self-awareness and introspection about human rights was going to come to a violent end. But she is from Missouri and not Princeton, so…
A small amount of self-awareness and listening would go a long way here. Not “I have a white coat” “Do what you’re told.” Hahahahahaha! Do what you’re told! These ‘early’ cases were not properly reported on and presented as ‘odd anecdote’, ‘mystery case, not attention worthy’, etc. because if taken seriously and investigated would destroy the dominant narrative of a sudden outbreak in Wuhan in Dec-Jan-Feb with subsequent ‘spread’ to the rest of the world, early 2020. Recently, say July 2020, these reports seem to be taken more seriously, or accepted.
Imho, some even earlier health scares were COV19 outbreaks. One ex.
In 2018, there was a outbreak of atypical and v. strange pneumonia in Brescia, Lombardy, Northern Italy (right next to the Piemont where Corona ravaged in 2020..)
Brescia and the communes surrounding it are small, even tiny (think small villages.) There were 878 cases from Sept. to Oct 2018. These cases were those classed as serious and for the most part hospitalised. A few were sent ‘home’ and supervised there. Absolutely unheard of in terms of numbers, and it was a HUGE scandal, worry.

Legionella was right away a presumed agent, and the hunt was on, in water, waterworks, cooling towers, etc. About 10% (see link) of patients tested positive for Legionella, the others NOT. Legionella was found to be present in a very few municipal water spots (precision not poss), but one might expect that anyway. Those hospitalised were skewed to the elderly and men (co-morbities were important as well), though a few younger ppl were hospitalised. The number of deaths was not terribly high, I can’t give a no. because none exists, see link.
The matter was never elucidated (or not publically) and went under the radar as the infection died out, and well, best to get over it, tourism, life goes on.
Here in eng. link that reports the pos. Legionella cases correctly (42) but makes out that it was the principal or only cause. In fact only one (or 2) cooling towers showed ‘traces’ (enough to infect ppl? probably not) of Legionella, and about 800 or so hospitalised ppl tested neg. for L.

The Republican Party still publicly acknowledges its fidelity to “job creators” and cutting government to a size where it can be drowned in the bathtub. Likely next year, Republicans will still control the Senate and the selection of political appointees. The USA cannot manage quarantines; universal testing, contact tracing, isolation, or form effective work and school bubbles. It is betting everything on a for-profit vaccine from the Pharmaceutical Industry next year.
Only the restoration of a functional democracy and public health social support systems will assure the defeat of the virus. The USA is no longer a safe haven (it is quarantined from the virus free world except for essential travelers). The US dollar position as the world’s reserve currency is finished. The control of 95% of Americans by the 5%, a Pandemic Depression, the rich jet setting across the world while the little people are quarantined at home, American causality numbers approaching Civil War levels; whoever is inaugurated in January 20, 2021, will be the Western Empire’s Last Emperor.
