My most valuable mentor Mr. Bruno Takala taught me about laying out for plumbing fixtures when i was an apprentice at 20 years of age. Mr. Takala was a master human being as well as a master craftsman. I was driven to earn Mr.Takala’s respect by producing work that would equal his. At Mr. Takala’s funeral a man whom we had worked for told me Bruno loved me as a son and once told him if he wanted to keep him as a superintendant to leave me alone. The article confirms:Zaporizhzhia was hit with North Korean-made ballistic missiles.
6 people killed, 19 injured in that specific strike.
Zelensky called it a “vicious attack” aimed at civilian infrastructure.

You love building things where there was once nothing!I love building things too.
I have had to very what I built over my different careers.
In retirement, I have drifted back toward building buildings, boathouse, solarium, decks, rock seawalls, floating docks (5), screen porch, steel roofs (3), steel siding, a big steel shed on concrete, boat oars, large flower boxes, repairing things, etc.
I like building many other non-tanglable things too, like a family, investment knowledge, and things many would not think of as traditional “buiding” but are often harder to do, than just making things.
I get this building gene honestly, from my Father!
So keep on building!
It is what keeps you busy and alive too!P.S. I design/draw everything on the back of old envelopes!
I build my projects on papar envelopes first, to spot problems before I actually build the real thing!I detail everything on paper first, but my engineering brother verbalize everything first!

@WES: I drew so many drawings on that engineering paper that has little squares covering each page. It’s really good for that. I made each square a foot, or even half a foot. I used straightedges and fine point pens. I kept enough preliminary drawings to show the process. I forget where they are.
I have the big working drawings with coffe and other stains on a shelf.
I was never any good with napkins.
