The bogs around you will give lots of organics and will be low in PH I’m sure you already know. Turn you alders to charcoal by coking them and add lots of lime to your pile as you build it. Chicken shit is very high in nitrogen and the purer you can get it the better. Used with green wood chips it will help a lot with the rotting. I used it a lot well mixed with wood chips straight in the garden without much issue. When using chemical fertilizers I found triple 17 to be the best. To make charcoal out of your alder find a small steel barrel with a lid that you can seal tightly. Fill it as full and snug as possible. Put a small hole in the top like a quarter inch maybe and heat it in a good bonfire for several hours. Presto charcoal. The hole will let out the gases so as to keep the barrel from exploding. I have found working fires around exploding barrels to be counter productive!

Soil Making – Consolidated Moose Pasture:
I think soil making is already a big back breaking job as it is.
Laying gown alders on the ground instead of feeding them into a wood chipper seems like a lot less effort.
By trading time, you can let Mother Nature do all the wood chipping for you.Red’s idea for making charcoal in a steel drum also seems very labour intensive, producing little volume, unless you are in a hurry with the alders.
Putting a layer of muck on top of a layer of alders, then repeating the layers, sounds much easier.
One thing you could do to help Mother Bature speed up the composting, would be to build a cold frame, and cover it with heavy plastic so over tye summer it better traps tge sun’s energy making it warmer inside thus speeding up the composting.
You may need to open the coldframe plastic, from time to time, to let some rain water in to moisten the compost mixture.
I suspect putting in a little fertilizer in the compost mix may also help the composting process.I know here in Peel region they have natural gas heated composers that can do the basic composting in weeks or months.
By loosely covering your composting material you can trap a bit of the sun’s energy.
Maybe you only need to put a few rocks on top of the compost mix to create a little dead air space would be even better than building a cold frame.I am sort of guided by my stomick method.
If it feels like too much work, then think of an easier way!So lay down your multi layers of alders and muck, anything else, place a few rocks on top for air space and then cover with plastic for warmth.
Open plastic cover for some rain.So farm out as much of the hard work as you can to Mother Nature!
All she will ask in return is that you give her a little time!

Dozens of migrants arrive in Guatemala after deportation from the US

Dozens of migrants have arrived to Guatemala after being deported on a flight from the United States.According to the Guatemalan Institute of Migration (IGM), a US military aircraft contained 31 women and 48 men.
The 79 migrants are currently being housed in shelters managed by the Guatemalan government. IGM director Alfredo Danilo Rivera said that the government is providing support and helping the deportees return to their hometowns.
Guatemala’s National Council for Assistance to Migrants of Guatemala (CONAMIGUA) said it provided personal hygiene products and food as well as legal, psychological and transportation assistance to the returnees.
Images released by CONAMIGUA show the returned migrants speaking to workers and collecting aid before boarding a bus.
The deportations are part of US President Donald Trump’s federal immigration crackdown, including an inaugural promise to “return millions and millions” of people to their countries of origins.
On Thursday, Guatemala’s Foreign Minister Carlos Martínez told Congress that the government is still waiting for information from the US on how many deportation flights and people will be arriving.
“We don’t have the logistical capacity, the reception and the care,” Martinez said.
Rivera, the IGM director, will soon be heading to the Guatemala-Mexico border to coordinate with Mexico’s government on managing migration, the Guatemalan presidential office reported.
CNN has reached out to the Mexican foreign ministry for more information on this meeting.

Are you listening ? IT CAN NOT HAPPEN. There will never be any space “commuters” ! EVER! (the longest that a human being can life in space without receiving a FATAL dose of radiation poisoning(s) is roughly 600 days MAXIMUM.) Even if someone COULD make the trip (and the odds are that they can’t, for many years to come) they could only do it ONCE.
There will never be a conscious self-aware sentient AI, either. Not EVER! It literally CAN NOT be done because sentient conscious awareness is not some thing that can be materially constructed. Whatever it is (and the debate still rages) it can only be NON material (i.e., spiritual) just as THOUSANDS of the best minds in human history have been saying since the beginning of human history.
What their vaunted AI models have told the Owner Class, and still is telling them, is that reality does not lie. All of those elite and unfortunately far too many of us ordinary people, are doomed to a very hard landing indeed as reality catches up to the fantasy and imposes itself on the world in the way that reality always must and therefore always does.
The “Computer Assisted” (AI) Think Tank reports also informed them that they can extremely temporarily forestall doomsday ….. for an extraordinarily short time…… by consuming the last acquirable resources in an ABSURDLY insufficient effort to achieve FOR THEMSELVES ALONE the absolutely impossible goal of infinite intelligence under their sole control, and all within the next ten years or so.
It might be funny if it weren’t such gibbering madness and it might be amusing to watch if it didn’t mean certain death for anyone who tries it.
The hubristic megalomaniacs are BEHAVING as though they don’t get it, AT ALL!!!, and their manifest denialism is dependably solid evidence that they actually don’t. They refuse to get it. AT ALL!
They do not understand that EVIL, and STUPIDITY and LYING ABOUT VITAL THINGS are all physically, mentally and spiritually FATAL mistakes. Mistakes of that magnitude make you DEAD (period, full stop, end of sentence)
Let me lay out the situation on-the-ground as a short list of main points.
Without the assistance of HIGHLY complex machines (which they also don’t PERSONALLY know how to make from scratch) Literally NOBODY (and I mean N O B O D Y !) knows how to design, make or operate practically anything. The sheer breadth and depth of this ignorance is just absolutely STUNNING! It includes the entire range from cars, planes, trains & spaceships, to food shelter clothing banking and money itself.
This widespread ignorance and disability of crucially necessary knowledge and ability is far far worse than it was just a few generations ago. The generational transmission of practical knowledge has FAILED, and the persons most responsible for this failure occurring are THEMSELVES fully ignorant of what to do about it because that practical knowledge was not transmitted to THEM by their own fore-bearers.
How this actually happens is a long and fascinating conversation FOR SOME ANOTHER DAY. The more urgently pertinent point is that situation we are facing TODAY is that this IS the situation that we actually are in, and that if we don’t solve that vital problem almost instantly then upwards of 80% are about to die of the consequences ….. and 80% is the optimistic number. It could be a whole lot worse. Like zero.
Let me present that a different way, like as an imaginary, visualizeable, example.
Pretty nearly all civilized human beings alive today, if stripped naked and empty handed were placed in a wilderness of any kind (harsh or gentle) they would be dead within five or six weeks. There are plenty of ways to not survive, like exposure, thirst, hunger, mistakes, sickness, accidents or becoming the dinner of some other critter who is more competent in that environment. Only a minority would make it through the first week even in the mildest of wilderness, and in brutally tough neighborhoods like the Amazon or Arctic Siberia those people would not see their next sunrise.
But things aren’t that bad now, right? We can cope with hard times. People are tougher and more adaptable than we give them credit for, right?
Things are going along at least “survivably” well for the majority of folks at the present moment (even comfortably well for some and luxuriously well for a handful of super-elites) but I have to remind you that is only made possible by the fact that we still DO have all of those amazing machines and computers and fuels to use in making all the truly vital stuff that we can’t actually live without. Without food, shelter, clothing and physical security we are “D” “E” “A” “D”.
Practically no one PERSONALLY knows how to provide ANY of those things without a machine of some kind (mechanical, chemical or electronic) to help them do it. And LITERALLY no one can make a steel knife, mainframe computer or electric generator.

If you were to lose that networked computer, or even just the electricity it run on, then access to ALL of the other machines goes away, totally, withing the lifespan of a single generation.
You do see the relentlessly merciless execution of that fact by nature itself, right? Having no food/water/power results in having no life. Sorry, but that rule is just not going to change no matter how much you don’t like it. In a society that uses tools to make food/water/power, then, having no tools instantly results in having no food/water/power.
Well, the way things are set up now over the entire Earth it is VERY much the case that without networked computers running like clockwork around the clock around the globe then there is no way to make, fuel or operate those vital tools, and no way to learn how to make them or run them even if you knew how, WHICH YOU DON’T!
Here’s the deal. Those cold hard facts are what the Elite’s precious AI’s are forecasting to them. I know that by both evidence and deduction. So do you.
I’m not kidding. I may be ranting sarcastically, but I’m dead serious about why the Tech Giants (and all those Blobulist Satanic Perverted Elites who DEPEND UPON THOSE TECHNOCRATS FOR LITERALLY EVERYTHING) are going all in, no holds barred, on getting that control.
They have lost control of the networked computers, and thereby have lost control of the machines and systems.
They built the computers in order to ESTABLISH more control, but the strategy backfired BADLY when the peasants started using those same computers to fight back. The only way to regain control was more and bigger Computer Assisted AI Control systems, and now that strategy is backfiring the same way.
Well, folks, need I point out that there are only so many resources in the while world. It’s a finite system, after all, and when the limits are approached then certain things happen. Those things ARE happening. Read this TAE forum, watch You Tube or read Twitter/X if you don’t believe me.
The AI generated forecast is that, “If you owners and rulers do not soon attain and maintain centralized control of the vitally necessary and indispensable networked computerized systems then then you are going to D…..I…..E….., period, full stop, end of sentence. And the ONLY way to control that many computers is with a centralized Artificial Intelligence Managed system that is under YOUR control. But wait! That imperative command statement contradicts itself within its own terms!
That’s right, it does. And the AI works well enough that it is telling them the same thing. That’s because the only postulated solution to the the problem cannot even be logically described because it literally CAN NOT be done. That’s what MAKES it impossible.
Those elites have chosen not to confront that fact. That’s what makes them insane.
I can see why they’re worried. Fact is, I’m worried too.
Given the choice between trying to physically live forever regardless of the cost to others and myself, and the alternative choice of getting right with God (which he says assures happy immortality) I believe I’m gonna go with the latter. Even an atheistic hard science mathematician will tell you that the latter choice holds much better odds.
