    I won’t pretend to unerstand this painting; I don’t…
…but the date(1944) stands out as the war years…
…there are also two versions of this painting…
    …again, I have no idea…
    …fascinating……………..

Were they all done during the war years?

“This is a very good day for the anti-fascist movement globally,” said Petros Constantinou, a prominent anti-racist activist.

Petros Constantinou is a very, very shady character.

Anyway the reason this trial took so long is that the Syriza gov dragged their feet (they supposedly could not find an appropriate court room) but the real reason was they needed the GD in order to instal their favourite person as the head of the Supreme Court. That’s why they changed the law and now the leader of a criminal organization gets the same penalty as the members. Plus they can participate in politics even from inside a prison.

The irony is that TODAY Syriza is demanding an amendment to this law ASAP

    Hey, Ilargi.
Does it cool off and get darker in Amsterdam in September? The graph looks like people quite sunbathing and started hanging out in bars.

    #64220

September’s a bit early for getting dark, but sunbathing would be rare. Not that sunbathers don’ go to bars after sundown. It’s just a mess there.

Ah, missed the chance to impeach over *not* doing this, Obama’s Executive Order 13526: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13526
“Sec. 1.7. Classification Prohibitions and Limitations.
    (a)   In no case shall information be classified, continue to be maintained as classified, or fail to be declassified in order to:
      (1)   conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error;
    (2)   prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency;

4 years after it was legally required. Hey, government, media would never LIE to us, would they? Yes or No, only one thing’s for sure: nobody goes to jail.

“The Constitutional Reckoning of State Lockdown Orders”

Ruled unconstitutional (OBVIOUSLY) by PA, MI. Of course after destroying every small business in the state and doubling Bezos’ fortune. And a few months later than I expected. Just victory lapping here that we deal with these things by doing what’s totally, stupidly illegal (I protest) but then are later reversed in court at great human and financial cost. Sort of a safety valve for pandemics, attacks, wars, that sort of thing. Denninger brought up the legal term “Exigence”, that is, an urgent problem that need to be addressed. If aliens landed and created a cartoon-dimensional time-loop in town square, we don’t have laws for that. So we use the slack in the system until we can get some. Short-term. <30 days. Then you are required to PASS some LAWS with the LEGISLATURE, which no state has bothered to do and all of their orders attacking orthodox Jews in the streets of NY are ILLEGAL. And as we’ve seen, has that other problem they are being sued to Mars over, selective enforcement, a criminal violation of Civil Rights. Of course they are going to totally ignore the rulings. Forever, if they can get away with it. Hey, government, media would never LIE to us, would they? Yes or No, only one thing’s for sure: nobody goes to jail.

Just pointing out that this is how America tends to deal with this. Illegally, in a sense, but functionally. Now they need to reverse all this in court, followed by restoring the 4th Amendment and repealing the FISA court, then letting Assange go under the now-defunct, illegal, and unconstitutional Patriot Act. Preferably with a ruling by the Supreme Court that we indeed have a Constitution.

Also victory lap, the EU will never, ever let Britain leave, not for 1,000 years. They can only leave unilaterally:
“UK Threatens to “Walk Away” from Brexit Talks If No Deal by End of Next Week”

They’re trying to run down the clock on this PM, then the next, the next, the next, forever and ever, until “Remain” is back in power. Is that law? Voting? Democracy? Why have a Referendum at all since no one acts on it. “Justice deferred is justice denied.” As with declass and arrests, above. But we, Britain, haven’t had law in 100 years, why start now? Point being: they should have just left, 2, 4, 10 years ago. This gives business time for the adjustment, but at some point…

Next week? Whatever. The real issue isn’t the thing, it’s who can we B L A M E for the thing.

Europe wants UK to leave so they can blame the inevitable collapse on them. Britain wants EU to collapse first so they have an EXCUSE to leave. Lies, lies, blame. Mendacity.

Speaking of blame: “States Overpaid Covid Claims, Now They Want the Money Back”
They incompetently screwed up and it’s your fault. You know: like everything else. MERS, Ninja, Iraq I and II, the Bush era…

On screwing up: New plan for not screwing up the election with disastrous mail-in voting tying up election past Jan in the courts: They’re goin’ WorldWide! Now they are going to ask the U.N. to overturn the election for them. (NYT) You know, like in Belarus and all the other color revolutions. Just like 4 years of the Purple revolution we’ve had from La Resistance. “The Coup has started,” — Mark Zaid, 2017. “Will you accept the results of this election?” Hillary to Trump, 2016, Press to Trump, 2020. No, of course not. The Democrats will never accept any election they don’t win and have tried to impeach all but 2 GOP Presidents.

Anyway, the point is, they are going to demand the U.N. install Joe Biden when he “Does not concede under any circumstances” – HRC. And the U.N., which uses our army is going to, what? Roll up their reports into spitballs and shoot them out of their NYC conference rooms? You know, the U.N. caught human trafficking and lying about Chemical Weapons to incite world wars?

Why? “Despite MSM And Establishment Bias Against Trump, He’ll Still Win (Feierstein)”

    Okey-dokey. You do you.

And the upshot for the daily headlines? Suddenly Hillary, Obama, and Biden want all Democrats to vote in person. Almost like since the funeral.

Covid chart: and the number of deaths remains dead flat? So we’re measuring how much testing we’ve done, and how much herd immunity we have? Science!

Well, at least it’s an excuse to imprison all those dirty orthodox Jews. That’s a win, right DeBlasio? …First they came for the Christians and Orthodox Jews in Brooklyn while opening casinos…

“Trump Orders Russiagate Documents Declassified (Ray McGovern)”

Yeah, he already did that and they ignored him last time too. …And nobody went to jail.

“It was probably his plummeting poll numbers”

Lies, Blame, Mendacity, yes Joe is up by 21 points! Suuuuure he is. Da media told me so! And when we have rallies, Deplorables risk certain death according to them, while 6 Democrats show up at an airport for Joe. Not that it isn’t close, in a sense: It’s probably 30-30-30, but you have a gigantic (+10pt?) enthusiasm gap, BLM attacking Joe as a “White Supremacist” (not kidding), and the electoral college making all the DNC support in the coastal states, like 60-40. That’s no help at all. The point of making this up about Joe being 1,000 points ahead, and replaying 2016 A G A I N – while caught daily with the “oversampling of Democrats” – is to invent the narrative that Dum-Dum WILL win in a landslide at the Polls, but give time to stuff those ballots in Minnesota like Vertias just put on film and Jersey, Iowa, and Brooklyn have just publicly admitted.

Plummeting” Are you high? He’s at his high for the Presidency, and above both 2016 AND Obama at this time. Wow, sounds serious. Don’t know how the Duke Boys are going to get away from Roscoe P. Coltrane this time. It’s just an election. Calm down and think straight. Or put another way: STOP LYING! His numbers are average in in the usual zone. Not a thing unique at all beside non-stop mendacious click-bait.

“Golden Dawn Leader and Ex-MPs Found Guilty in Landmark Trial (G.)”

Sounds difficult. If a Democrat murders his neighbor in lower Iowa, is Joe Biden responsible? Can we then erase the DNC? Prove it. I image they did, but it illustrates the legal challenges involved.

Why Did Golden Dawn’s Neo-Nazi Leaders Get Away with It for So Long? (G.)” Because this.

“90% of my traffic has just been cut off by what seems to be a general algorithm command of some kind to downplay Assange.”

Then they came for uber-hyper Leftists like J.K.Rowling and career feminists who dare utter, “Men aren’t women, tho.” “How Dare You!!!”

I think generally why i agree with Mr. Weinstein more then the other participants is due to the fact that i think he is taking more variables into his equation then those he is speaking with. He is using a mixture of history and what he see’s going on in current times along with how our financial system is operating. That is the largest problem when trying to discuss Americas issues with other Americans. You can argue until you’re blue in the face from one perspective and you may be correct with regards to that narrow viewpoint. But once you expand your field of vision, you can see that you were only arguing for a small slice of what actually matters. It all ties together, and without us all being on the same page with regards to what our actually problems are, we are a dog chasing its tail. Which is the general conclusion i took from listening to that roundtable.

“If the press was truly free, this would be plastered all across the mainstream media.”

“A dark week has seen the MSM turn a blind eye to Democrat failings and exaggerate the extent and severity of Donald Trump’s illness.”

After an early retirement, I went back to school to reboot those parts of my brain that had atrophied from lack of use in my career as a specialist. During the 2008 banking crisis it seemed like a good idea to use this current event as the topic for an ECON research paper. It was eye-opening to discover that the media’s reporting had little in common with the rampant fraud I was daily digging up in my research. WTF! Establishment pundits, in brightly lit studios with cameras rolling, were lying to the public – lies of both commission and omission. That was the catalyst which caused me to shitcan all establishment media sources and seek out independent media.

Since then, Ilargi’s TAE has been a mainstay in my reading, along with many other indie sources. I still have friends who believe they are well informed because they also include PBS and the BBC in their info diet, as if buying your Twinkies at Whole Foods will be healthier for you. They are still trapped in the old paradigm that the US stands for truth, justice, and apple pie, and will fight tooth and nail to defend this illusion.

Moon of Alabama figures Trump was sicker than announced, risked a lot to get better fast, “is not out of the woods yet”, but has put everything on the line to win the upcoming election. (I get to early-vote for Tulsi Gabbard next Tuesday, here in Texas.)
But Trump wanted to be back in the White House. He calculated that he needs to show that the virus can be beaten.
He has no other chance to win the election. The people rightly believe that he screwed up the U.S. response to the pandemic. Even older voters who voted for Trump in 2016 are now saying that will vote against him:
In a recent Washington Post-ABC poll, 52 percent of likely voters over 65 supported Biden, compared with 47 percent for President Trump. Four years ago, Trump won those voters over Hillary Clinton.
Trump was warned of this early on. As Tomas Pueyo wrote back in April:
The older you are, the more likely you are to both vote Republican and die from the coronavirus. Voters aged 80+ are 80 times more likely to die from the coronavirus than those under 40 (16% fatality rate vs. ~0.2%).
This effect is strong enough that people who voted for Trump in the 2016 election are around 30% more likely to die from the coronavirus than Democrats. In some swing states from the 2016 election, such as Pennsylvania, if the coronavirus were to run wild, this effect alone could have wiped out up to 30% of the gap between Republicans and Democrats in the 2016 election.
Trump can no longer convince the voters, especially the older ones, that he did everything to protect them from the virus. What he probably still can do is to convince them that it does not matter because the virus can be beaten.
To do that Trump had to make himself the showcase.
I do not want to suggest that Trump intentionally infected himself. But he did pretty much everything one should not do if one wants to prevent that.
Trump is relatively old, he has additional risk factors and despite that he now can say that he has beaten the virus. Should nothing further happen to him there is no way that anyone can doubt that.
His real message in this White House video is: “I have beaten it. You can beat it. The virus does not really matter. Just carry on.”
    https://www.moonofalabama.org/2020/10/why-trump-returned-to-the-white-house.html#more

I have maintained, based upon genomic sequencing information, and natural mutation rates and patterns, compared to cutting and splicing in a lab, that SARS-CoV-2 was created in a lab or labs, to hit targeted human hosts harder, and in a variety of ways. That’s what we see it to do. It attacks the lining of the blood vessels. That’s a completely new functionality. It evades the immune system with at least one of the tricks HIV uses. It shares some critical sequence homologies with HIV, the most researched virus ever. It has the “fingerprints” of gene splicing, the little patch sequences needed to integrate a segment into a genome after cutting out another segment.
It is important to keep in mind that this Chinese scientist is now in US hands, beholden to the US. She has evidence that China was working on this weaponized virus, but, as we know from other sources, so were the US and Canada. A lot of the research got shared around pretty freely among the 3. Even funding got shared. It got out. I think the first leak was accidental, myself, but then it needed to be targeted quickly before it lost all usefulness as a weapon and instrument of national policy. It sure got around the world by November 2019, based on sewage analysis.
Li-Meng Yan, A Chinese virologist (MD, PhD) who worked in a WHO reference lab and fled her position at the University of Hong Kong, has published a second co-authored report, alleging that SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, was not only created in a Wuhan lab, it’s an “unrestricted bioweapon” which was intentionally released.

Nice theory, but that’s all. I could theorize the opposite and be just as credible. Yeah, he’ll take risks, but will his entire medical team comply? All these people have sworn oaths.

But Trump wanted to be back in the White House. He calculated that he needs to show that the virus can be beaten. He has no other chance to win the election.

It’s time we discussed something really important:

    This is serious.

    Fly On Pence's Head

    I mean super-serious.

    Fly on Hillary

    I mean really really super-serious.

This proves Hillary is obviously an android and Pence is a zombie. Meanwhile deep in the combover depths of Donald Trump:

    Lets think about it.
    1. Democrats keep the house and win the senate and Trump wins the presidency
Trump cannot discharge the Powers and Duties of Office Act because Nancy has all the power
    2. Republican win the house and get super majority in senate and Trump wins the presidency.
Trump cannot discharge the Powers and Duties of Office Act because Nancy has Trump tied up in a loony bin.

    3. Same as #1 and #2 but Biden wins the presidency and Nancy has Biden tied up in a loony bin.
