And if grandma had balls… The Jones Act is a modern version of the Tea Act. Oh, the irony…
Yellen conceded that some assumptions about how the modern economy works could be wrong. She is not operating on the premise that they are wrong, but she is prepared to entertain the prospect.
This makes her sound rational, i. e. Logos-istic. But what if the outcomes of their “shoot your constituents in the foot” policies are actually TO THEM desirable? Then the comment is just CYA Zioglobalist anti-Logos to refer back to after the implosion. This is the “new” world we live in.
