ParticipantThe massive protest in Prague this past weekend, where tens of thousands of Czechs flooded the streets, offers a glimpse of the impending social unrest that could hit the street of the UK if power bills continue rising without government intervention.
The 1 million march against the Iraq war was completely ignored by Tony Blair. Thick Lizzy is the same obedient servant type as Bliar. After that display of contempt, why would anybody in British politics care if there are a few hundred thousand protesters on the street?

Participant… given that prominent CCP virologist Shi Zhengli was leading the Chinese side of this research collaboration, it is entirely reasonable that Xi Jinping would have known about her project.
Which would explain why Xi instigated the Zero Covid policy, to keep this germ alive and to use it for as long as possible. Xi is still locking down cities at the moment and the effort seems mainly aimed at the areas associated with his political enemies. He is using his inbuilt corruption to try and defeat opponents to him being voted as “Emperor” by bashing them over the head with a baseball bat rather than out running them. The problem with this sort of corruption is that China ends up being led by a Chinese Yeltsin. Mind you, it didn’t do badly for Russia as Yeltsin led to Putin. Maybe someone good will follow Xi.

ParticipantThis is not supposed to happen in a constitutional system based on shared, limited powers: The Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse, but Biden just gave away the store.
Not supposed to happen? You still think there is any restraint being applied? There is no law so these people are stealing billions through Ukraine, Taiwan and other unmonitored financial destinations. This give away is only not to Biden’s chums because he wants to win in November, this is a bribe, which is different to the outright theft that the POTUS and other DNC scum are performing at the moment.

ParticipantI watch less than one film per year. When I do watch films they are usually Asian films. The last movie I saw was The Lunchbox which I am sure made its way around the west’s cinemas as it was a big prize winner.
I remember this Chinese movie I watched a few years back now, can’t remember the name. In the scene of interest, this grandfather was sitting on a bench with his grandaughter and their tortoise was on the ground in fron of them. The tortoise had decided that it wanted to walk around, so it walked towards the right side of the screen, very slowly (its a tortoise) and the scene was almost over when it went out of the shot. I am sure everybody was watching the tortoise, it was very tense: will it get to the edge before the end of the scene. Anyway, it got to the edge and just as people were wondering what was going to happen to the tortoise, a hand grabbed it and discretely placed it back in the middle of the shot. The sense of relief in the cinema was tangible. Cinematic gold, the tension could be felt throughout the theatre. That is the sort of stuff I love about cinema, so much so that I cannot remember the film’s name or the story line.

ParticipantGeorge Clooney, don’t know what it is but from the first time I saw his image on TV, I knew I would never see any of his films. And I haven’t. He emboddies all the things I really viserally despise in Hollywood. It is as if every time I look at him I see green haired fat lesbians in superwoman costumes … I know, kind of weird. In keeping with my track record, I closed the video of Georgie when I saw that slimy face.

As to the relationship between you and me I see three alternatives. We can converse, we can ignore each other, or we can fight. Your call , in most cases, but there is a red line. If you post harmful falsehoods I will call you out , and take hammer and tongs to the falsehoods.
Good luck with that. I have selected ignore as I can get much better abuse elsewhere.

I do think that the future of BRICCS+ is the future of Earth.
It certainly looks as if they have the best opportunity to create the new world. I just hope that the suicide of the west will result in the center of power moving from the west to the east, all without destroying a bunch of people in a world war. Can always hope, it would be a good result.

In other words, so-called “population overshoot” does not exist because it cannot exist
Indeed. Nature shows us this on a regular basis. Natural plagues, although sometimes a mystery why they are triggered, are always supported by the food supply: obviously. When the food supply is demolished then the plague subsides. With insects this happens very quickly, with frogs less quickly, with mammals even less quickly. Nature enforces its rules, nature allows huge increases in population then nature cuts back the population. Nature does not have a fixed number for the population of anything, but of course, humans know best so they try to squeeze nature into their rather simple mental models of the world. The human need to be arrogant, to pretend you know how it works and that you can correct nature. It always ends in failure, hence possums in NZ, cane toads in Australia, but there is always a bunch who cannot learn from those lessons, they insist they know better and the result will be better next time. Tiresome.

Participant@DBS good post. You imply it is a war of survival of the fittest, the weakest are those who give into their scams, such as the Covid vaccine and green energy, as they will be culled and the strongest will be those who can steer clear or mitigate. Absolutely agree with that, there are no limits to what they will do and it will only get worse for the west. The big question is what will happen to the east? The BRICS+ are sailing along realigning themselves with the east while the west self destructs. How can the elites see a global population of 500m without involving China and India? Are China and India just biding their time, will their turn come in the future? Are the elites leaving them out of it simply to not bite off more than they can chew? If China and India are not going to play then why are the western elites still persuing this plan? Are the BRICS+ are in on the scam or are they genuinely outside the scam and will simply reap the benefits?

Participant“In this regard, we fully understand the complete silence of all Western sponsors of the Zelensky regime, which de-facto confirms their tacit participation in the preparation of today’s provocation at the Zaporozhye plant,” the military concluded.
It’s embarrassing that NATO cannot put together an action involving less than 1000 men without the Russians knowing what is going to happen, being warned either by their human or technical intelligence. In one way i am glad they cannot fight back, but in another way it illustrates the decline of the west.

Participant“If I give the promise to people in Ukraine – ‘We stand with you, as long as you need us’ – then I want to deliver. No matter what my German voters think, but I want to deliver to the people of Ukraine.”
The real question is why you would be so stupid as to make such a promise unless you knew your voters were 100% behind you? Of course, we all know the answer: Germany is an oligopoly and she was obeying her owners while telling her voters where they stand.

ParticipantSuper typhoon Hinnamnor – named after another beautiful region of Lao – is hitting us here in Taiwan at the moment. My father in law’s place is on the 22nd floor of a tower block which rocks with the wind: you can see your soup moving, you can see the lights swinging, even the hanging ceiling access hatch is bouncing up and down, and on the ground floor, huddled together, you will find the group of people who suffer sea sickness from the rocking building. It has not reached its maximum yet, we have that joy to come.
Good to see the typhoons back in force, I remember one just like this ten years ago while we were visiting Taipei. That too was caused by the white man and his climate change weapon.

At least it may focus minds on the fantasy of an EV future.
It is all about power and control. Us plebs will have access to one source of energy, electricity, and that source will be controlled by the computers owned by the billionaires behind WEF. If you don’t get your vaccination, then you do not get any electricity and therefore have to return to living in the stone age. Fossil fuels make freedom possible, which is why the looney left and billionaires – along with the naive believers, the sort who think there really is some sort of shortage – have teamed up to eradicate them.

We are each and all so extremely dependent upon the electrical grid in order to keep living. Without it there is no communication
Communication does not travel down the electrical grid, communication travels mostly via satelite. As for dependence on the grid, should we not be using green power instead of a grid, such as solar panels? As a believer in solar panels who needs a power grid? You will just connect to the web when the sun comes up, or, completely destroy some third world country and build yourself a battery.

What a fine thing that turned out to be! because if there had been 16 of each, China’s current food and pollution and social predicaments would be far worse.
The Chinese still kidnap women from overseas, Vietnam was popular as they have lighter skin, and traffic them to China as wives. This is/was a huge industry which is socially acceptable – everybody knows that the man is married to a bought bride – but the Chinese prefer not to talk about. The one-child policy did a lot of damage both inside and outside of China even though I am sure the intentions were good.

Execute? A harmless, homeless guy like me? A helpless, ignorant ward of the state? Why no: I’ll get a medal for being the kind of citizen they like best! Completely unproductive, completely drawing on the wealth of the state. ‘Cause golly brother, times are hard, ya know? That beach ain’t gonna surf itself!
Not homeless, but otherwise I am on this track, unemployed and on the beach every day, my biggest concerns are home-brew supplies and windsurfing equipment. That is when home, I am on a six month holiday in Taiwan at the moment.
As for insects, I was in the mountains glamping here in Taiwan last week and there were tons of insects, loads of butterfllies (trees full of butterflies), beetles (one we saw was 2 inches with big claws at the front and decided to drop out of a tree and onto my wife’s lap), moths (4 inch wingspan that look like big dead leaves in the morning), mosquitos (the big but very slow type that the Buddists catch and release outside) and of course cicadas, making the place very noisy.
On our home island in Hong Kong we get the frogs every night, the cicadas, the birds in the morning and mosquitos. The snakes love the frogs and our big fat geckos take care of most indoor insect food. The frogs are worst in the rainy season when there are so many of them that at night you have to walk with a flashlight to avoid stepping on them or the snakes. Just the frogs must be eating a fair load of insects.

Not property like your Camaro. Property like your Burrito. Stolen. Eminent domain needs approval and compensation, at the least.
But it doesn’t, so what are you going to do about it? Stop paying tax so that the IRS soldiers can come over and shoot you? I think they already suspect you will try that! Try to reason with them, like the Dutch farmers are hoping to do, in other words allow them to bullshit you for a year while they put you into dire financial straits? Masturbate over your guns? What’s the plan?
They will take your stuff and if you resist they will lock you up in jail. Later they will pass a law that allows them to execute you. In court they will show false sale documents showing that you sold them your land. If you cause too much trouble they will just shoot you.
Once your land is gone you will never own anything again and you will live in barns like cattle waiting for the farmer to walk you outside for a shit.
I know, you think this is impossible, but read a bit of history and you will see that this would be an easy way out, the fanatics of the past have done much worse.

Of course that’s obvious, since it used to take 3-5 hours to get sunburned and now takes 30-50 minutes.
I wish my memory were as good as yours. On a few occasions I was sunburned on the beach in Malindi, Kenya, many decades ago, usually because I was sunbathing while reading a very gripping book which kept me in the sun until I was turned into a lobster. Is it worse now? When I was in NZ it was brutal, you had to put on the factor 50 immediately you went out, wait 15 minutes and you were toast. Different part of the world, not sure it is a valid comparison with equitorial Africa. Now I am permanently very brown, being out on the water a few days every week. But, I would be interested to see the real data on this, see some real science regarding the sun’s radiation and its impact on our planet.

ParticipantGovernments are stealing our money under the disguise of saving the planet. One big theft operation that is enthusiastically supported by certain very power people who probably have never paid tax. They are stealing our countries, cultures and inheritance yet they have people on the ground that support their theft, those people being political groups who see some alignment between their own ideals and the stated ideals of the giant theft operation.
The “saving the planet” lie is intended to give their theft the moral high ground, so that they can pretend that they are people doing good and not just common thieves. The people cheering this on think that the reasoning is genuine, that these people are stealing our money, culture and inheritance because they are trying to achieve something incredibly good.
Emotions are not helpful when you are being ripped off: more people lose massive amounts of money by putting logic to one side and making decisions using their emotions. That is why the letters from Nigeria work, the people may be intelligent, but they are vulnerable to abandoning logic. The people performing this theft are using similar tactics on the population at large, they are continually feeding new letters from Nigeria to the population at large.
What people do not seem to realise is that this will not save the planet, there are not enough resources on the planet to achieve what these people say they want to achieve, and even then extracting all those resources would completely destroy the planet. People need to start using logic when considering the future of their families, not emotions.

This is a psychological warfare operation, and Kiev has succeeded in it.
I understand why you are attributing success to Kiev, but the real success is the total control of the narrative in the western MSM. The billionaires totally control western MSM and now they have a captured audience in that they ordered their politicians to ban alternative view points such as Russia Today.
But does total control of the narrative mean that they are winning? We will find out when people are asked to suffer through the billionaire-imposed energy drought this winter. Will the people be so totally convinced that they have to save Ukraine that they will accept their own suffering as a means to achieve that goal? People were willing to trust the government with the vaccine, but some bad stories came out since then, even in the MSM, so it will be interesting to see the reaction of the majority.
The only indication I have seen is the UK government complaining that lots of Ukrainians will be on the streets during the winter, having been ejected from the homes of Brits who were giving them lodging. Maybe the Brits are over it? We shall see.
