wow. went shopping. not to megaworld, just the local place (i’d rather pay a 17% premium and help my neighbours).

many more people are today wearing masks while driving, walking, breathing.

the customers in the store seemed more hesitant to be near; the clerks were now wearing gloves again. (i live in lockdowntown, stage 3.7, colour maroon)

er, sorry. sometimes a + b = october for me.

my intent was to say the average person, especially those in flyoverworld, just seem to have a better grasp on what’s going on than so many of the highly educated people presented as experts.

i was trying to agree. i like christmas cards.

Making it more annoying to be unvaccinated won’t persuade everyone to get a shot. But we don’t need everyone. According to Kaiser’s data, 16 percent of American adults are still in the wait-and-see or only-if-required categories. If they all got vaccinated, we’d hit herd immunity in most places.

“Oh, the jobs people work at! Out west near Hawtch-Hawtch there’s a Hawtch-Hawtcher bee watcher, his job is to watch. Is to keep both his eyes on the lazy town bee, a bee that is watched will work harder you see. So he watched and he watched, but in spite of his watch that bee didn’t work any harder not mawtch. So then somebody said “Our old bee-watching man just isn’t bee watching as hard as he can, he ought to be watched by another Hawtch-Hawtcher! The thing that we need is a bee-watcher-watcher!”. Well, the bee-watcher-watcher watched the bee-watcher. He didn’t watch well so another Hawtch-Hawtcher had to come in as a watch-watcher-watcher! And now all the Hawtchers who live in Hawtch-Hawtch are watching on watch watcher watchering watch, watch watching the watcher who’s watching that bee. You’re not a Hawtch-Watcher you’re lucky you see!”

    capitalism is dead.

we now have covidism*, the fusion of monopolies, glubberments, social media corrals, hordes of frightened humans, and the lynchpin, the hamster wheel of protection “offered” by all of the above.

    – It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World; Best to plant some trees and not get involved

    ~TAE Summary

unfortunately, you’ll recall that the entire quest of it’s a madmadmadmad world led them to trees. palms, more precisely.

at this point i think it better to plant a few hundred hectares of nopal, bougainvillia, nettles and acacia, hunkering down in the middle.

it seems the world has been reduced to two topics:

    a) it.

    and

    b) how we hide from, deal with, cope with, and wrestle with “it” and all the mania “it” has caused.

we try in vain to change the subject, because unlike most of the subjects in the past (wars, droughts, economies) of which we chattered, “it” is not “over there” or “some folks”, all of us are consumed by “it”; “it” knocks on our door, consuming, clouding and corrupting our thoughts, dragging our minds to places they should never have to go.

my wife had the thing for 6 weeks last march/april. lotsa sunshine, vitamin d and c, curcumin, n-a-c-l thing, cbd, and essential oils to get the sniffer going again.

very many of her relatives in méxico went through the same thing.

her cousin, 33, super fit, died in méxico city. this event saddens and angers me. i imagine he would have benefitted from ivermectin, ¿but what could i do to help? i am neither a doctor nor a direct family member.

now you a covid kit in méxico, complete with ivermectin.

    [insert link]

    he died in january..

“A citywide initiative in Mexico City to prescribe ivermectin to COVID-19 patients resulted in a plunge in hospitalizations and deaths, two studies found.

Hospitalizations were down by as much as 76%, according to research by the Mexican Digital Agency for Public Innovation, Mexico’s Ministry of Health and the Mexican Social Security Institute”

“It was the falsest of times, it was the oh-so-realest of times, it was the age of fact chequers, it was the age of misdisinformation, it was the epoch of herding, it was the epoch of hurting, it was the season of shame, it was the season of more shame, it was the lack of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had crap all around us, we had nothing but manipulation, we were all going direct to the local walgreens, we were all going direct to the emergency room—in short, the period was so rotten, so corrupt, so grrrrrrrrr, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for evil or for more evil, with proof of vaccination only.”

    to clarify:

my initial (and continuing) objection to the “vaccine” was that people were going to profit obscenely from something that was supposed to be good for everyone.

people who do complicated things like advanced medicine deserve to be well-rewarded for such life-consuming endeavours. but to participate in the above, i refuse.

something that i’ve not seen discussed anywhere else:

when these “vaccines” came out, i said, “wait one second. we have a (they say) global scourge that is a threat to us all. ¿¡so why on earth are people profiting, and by SO MUCH, from the “cure”.!?”

banting and best gave insulin away for freeeeekin’ free. and it actually works.

these vampire squid wannabes are the worst. the ceo of pfizer sold 5.6 million or something buckeroos of stock the day they announced the announcement.

that’s enough money (i’m sure he gets an employee discount) to inoculate rwanda (not that they want it).

if i try edit or post links, i most often get sent to the prove your are not a bot page. occasionally, i get a page refresh with my post not posted.

also, it seems to happen if i post twice in a row.

at the bot page, i am asked to prove my non-robotitude by adding the sum of two numbers, only one of which is offered, for example “9”. sometimes there is a two digit number, such as “13”, so i put “4”.

on that page i can also fill in a message to send somewhere, presumably to a human.

when i complete the above tasks, enter my email address and hit submit i am usually redirected to the same page to repeat said process.

i find if i log out, scrub my cookies and try again it sometimes works.

i also seem to be able to get one post in with each new day, but afterwards i experience the above.

thanks very much. i have read this blog for many years. it must be the current “situation” that has inspired me to add my $23.37* to the conversation.
