The White House said nothing as the world wondered who committed the sabotage. “So the president struck a blow against the economy of Germany and Western Europe,” the official told me. “He could have done it in June and told Putin: We told you what we would do.” The White House’s silence and denials were, he said, “a betrayal of what we were doing. If you are going to do it, do it when it would have made a difference.”
The leadership of the CIA team viewed Biden’s misleading guidance for its order to destroy the pipelines, the official told me, “as taking a strategic step toward World War III. What if Russia had responded by saying: You blew up our pipelines and I’m going to blow up your pipelines and your communication cables. President Biden waited four days before calling the pipeline bombing “a deliberate act of sabotage.” He said: “now the Russians are pumping out disinformation about it.” Sullivan, who chaired the meetings that led to the proposal to covertly destroy the pipelines, was asked at a later press conference whether the Biden administration “now believes that Russia was likely responsible for the act of sabotage?”

I could find no instances when Sullivan was subsequently asked by someone in the American press about the results of his “determination.” Nor could I find any evidence that Sullivan, or the president, has been queried since then about the results of the “determination” about where to go.
There is also no evidence that President Biden has required the American intelligence community to conduct a major all-source inquiry into the pipeline bombing. Such requests are known as “Taskings” and are taken seriously inside the government.
All of this explains why a routine question I posed a month or so after the bombings to someone with many years in the American intelligence community led me to a truth that no one in America or Germany seems to want to pursue. My question was simple: “Who did it?”
The Biden administration blew up the pipelines but the action had little to do with winning or stopping the war in Ukraine. It resulted from fears in the White House that Germany would waver and turn on the flow of Russia gas—and that Germany and then NATO, for economic reasons, would fall under the sway of Russia and its extensive and inexpensive natural resources. ..Every summer for twenty-one years, our navy Sixth Fleet, which has control of the Mediterranean and also the Baltic Sea, has an exercise for NATO navies in the Baltic (BALTOPS). And we’d bring a navy carrier or large ships around. It was a very open thing. The Russians certainly knew about it. We did publicity. And in this one, for the first time in history, the Baltic Sea NATO operation had a new program. It was going to have an exercise in dropping mines and finding mines for ten or twelve days. Several nations sent out mining teams, and one group would drop the mine and another mining group from their country would go hunt and blow it up. So you had a period where there are things blowing up, and in that time the Norwegians could recover deep-sea divers. The two pipelines run about a mile apart; they’re under the dirt a little but they’re not hard to get to, and they had practiced this. It didn’t take more than a few hours to plant the bombs…

The primary reason that there are so many lies flying around right now (of ever increasing gob-smackingness) is that knowledge and communication about the lies are a BY-PRODUCT of the truths being discovered. The more truth that’s discovered then the more lies that are brought to light in the process, much like cleaning the dirt, over-painting and graffiti from an Old Masterpiece painting.

That’s how truth is discovered, by which I mean to point that truth is DIS-covered. The sequence is that *First, truth exists and is broadly known and accepted as truth.
*Then liars obscure that truth (they COVER it up) with lies, leading to fear, force and fear of force, so as to benefit themselves at the expense of others.
*The lies injure those that they are told to, compelling the injured party to object by telling the truth about the lies, and reaffirming the truth about the truth that the lie was all about.
*This truth telling about lies uncovers the truth. In other words they DIS-cover the truth by drawing attention to the lie which has been covering the objective factual reality that was hidden under the layers of lying bullshit.

So, don’t get TOO wound up in the lies themselves, even though you do have to get SOMEWHAT wound up. Yes the lies and deceitful deeds are outrageous, and yes we have to do something about the horrible damage, and yes we must avoid being annihilated by the evils that we are discovering which remain being deadly serious (and real!). BUT do not lose sight of the fact that it is all of your DISCOVERING which is driving this whole process forward in the first place, and which ultimately guarantees success.

You don’t beat liars by lying or force. You beat liars with truth, which sometimes must be rather forcefully delivered. On occasion VERY forcefully, because for the worst liars truth is an existential threat.

The more truth that is discovered (and lies revealed) then the closer we are to achieving the state of full spectrum understanding which enables fixing more things with less effort. The unrealistically ideal would be that all of the liars would have no power or agency whatsoever when all of their lies are known by everyone. That ideal is probabilisticly impossible, of course, but the closer you manage to get towards it then the more certain you are of winning the contest. Better is still better even if you can’t make it all the way to best.

Seymour horn-dogged my mom when Hersh was the guest, featured speaker at The John Murtha Center, UPJ, a few years ago. In lieu of Hersh’s address meant to manipulate public sentiment in favor of CIA misconduct and in support of Bush Administration pro-torture, I set out with my parent’s help to “manipulate” Seymour and use my mom as the willing, “non-unwitting” honeytrap, of sorts. You see, I didn’t know Hersh would offer tortured, tortious, and tortuous reasoning in an effort to garner support the CIA/Bush Torture regime, but I predicted he would do what he did. So I prepared the way by penning the question which inverted Hersh’s assertions by contrasting Sy’s nonsense, sophisticated nonsense, with Constitutional/Title X facts. My mom slipped the handwritten question to Hersh through an unwitting 3rd party and after opening the note Seymour flew off the dais in pursuit of my mom. I’m looking right now at the photos from that moment. Hersh tried to charm her with several compliments about the intellect and insight behind the handwritten note while mom smiled, patiently waited for an opening.

She said, “Mr. Hersh, I agree about your praise for those words. However, I won’t take any credit for the note, but I will take full credit for giving birth to the man who wrote it, my son. And by the way, this poised man standing next me is my husband who, I’ll add, doesn’t respond to nonsense as diplomatically as my son, CAPT Richard D”

Hersh: “he’s brave and smart and he disagrees with me.”

My mom: “you forgot to add he’s right.”

Hersh: ” about what?”

Mom: “You. You came unprepared for that question. That’s what my son predicted. Well two things. He predicted you’d be charmed by the foundation of the question AND the messenger.”

Hersh laughed. So did my father and UPJ’s president standing next to them.

Hersh intimated the things I wrote put me in opposition to the Bush administration, the entire military and the CIA.

My mom replied: “Richard knows that. The governemnt actions are criminal. He’s disappointed the man who illuminated the My Lai atrocity might give cover to their nonsense.”

Hersh: “again your son is brave, but tell him beware the people around him in the Navy. They are bad and dangerous.”

My mom: “my son predicted you’d say something like that too. So what is your practical advice to my son, Mr. Hersh? Tell us what to do.”

Hersh: (((nothing)))

Hersh left a hand-written note for me signed by The Big Man.

Either Hersh underwent a personality change consistent with dementia or he isn’t the honest person RIM wants us to think he is.

Hersh served himself primarily and his access to information from the National Security State.

I know guys like you and Dr D plead ignorance and play confused about the propriety of a Navy Corspman ever leading or bossing around a Navy Captain doctor ever in his career but even DBS can tell ya E-4 ISN’T comparable to E-9 and CAPT/COL is 6 commissioned ranks above E-9. 10 to 11 if Warrant Officers are addressed.

This shit is simply meant to drive folks insane.

Junior enlisted as DBS told you, only stand before the CAPTAIN and COLONEL for two reasons:
1. Big trouble, ie. Mast or Court martial
2. A medal

Today’s Assassination that didn’t happen for a change makes everything simpler. Apparently, Crooks spent the last 3 years shooting only with DHS Homeland guys on that range. He’s been training with them only with one gun, and mainly at one distance. Huh. As sheer coincidence, when Biden appeared and diverted the USSS detail to Jill, all the guys who filled in were DHS Homeland from that range. Huh. And then a miracle happened and the DHS guys who knew the layout were away from their post at the very minute their longtime best friend Crooks jumped on the roof. Huh.

Other thoughts: Hey nobody asked the family? No really: they ALWAYS harass the crap out of the family, even these days. “Why didn’t you raise him right?” “What went wrong??” “Were there any signs?” “Why didn’t you stop him???”

Nothing. What assassination? What parents? Crooks didn’t have any parents. They are all atwitter to “Respect the privacy of the killer’s family in this precious time of grief.” No one’s asked what they were doing that day, or what two mental health counselors thought when their son – for no political or other reason they ALSO didn’t ask about – got up one sunny Saturday morning and decided “IHOP is crowded this time o’ morn, I’ll go shoot the President.” Nope. No curiosity. No one asks. No one notices.

That reduces the conspiracy dramatically. All you need is 10 guys in Pennsylvania on a lark. …Or more likely, on a phone call. Oh wait: the whole national government and Mossad too couldn’t crack the phone of a high-school student. Like St. Floyd and Chauvin, co-workers for years, maybe someone should ask?
