The pirates are abandoning ship faster. Pirates leaping from their sinking ship onto one that is not sinking are doing so for REASONS. The basic reason of course is that, in their own well informed selfish estimation, some current event has finally convinced them that their ship is going down, cannot be saved, and must be abandoned with NO FURTHER DELAY. In other words, they don’t jump until they HAVE to, and something just happened to convince them that they have to. Now.
Personally, I think that there are two events that just happened which caused these pirates to change their minds and jump ship sooner rather than later
The first event was the arrest of Pavel Durov. Victory is going to go to the side which first reveals the TRUE information that will take their enemy down. The Cabal arrested and threatens Durov to ensure that he could not or would not do that to them. ALL other pirates took notice, and acted accordingly. They jumped ship to the free speech side. They damned well better, because they are now convinced that their actual physical lives and personal freedom depend on it. Prison and death are real things, and even Zuckerberg is smart enough to know it. He’s dead either way, but I have no sympathy because he richly deserves what he IS going to get.
Event number two is the collapse of the banks, the Federal Reserve (which is , after all, merely a club-of-banks) and the dollar, which is about to be swept away by the Mother Of All Tsunamis in defaulted Commercial Real Estate loans (and enormous tranches of BlackRock owned Residential Real Estate as well, because since 2008 those two types of real estate asset holdings are virtually the same thing). The first pirate to take the leap was none other than the Wizard of Omaha himself, Warren Buffet. Dumping 4 Billion in Apple and B of A stock got a lot of attention fron the other privateers. What does Warren know that they don’t know? Pretty fucking obvious, dontcha think?
Although not immediately apparent those two events are intimately connected and therefore move in tandem because when one of them goes up (or down) that change CAUSES the other one to go up and down concurrently.
It works like this: financial profit derived from financial transaction can be increased by lying, cheating and stealing (and sometimes even murdering) therefore those who are inclined to such criminal behavior DO engage in it and consequently amass lots of money. In point of fact and practice, they amass ALMOST ALL of the money, actually.
Revelation of the dirty details of precisely how they lied, spied, bribed, cheated, stole and killed has the reverse effect. It results in LOSING the money and power that was amassed by doing those things. In other words, increased true information causes DECREASED ill-gotten-gains.
Likewise, since increased CONTROL of the content and flow of information increases the opportunity for getting money in crooked and/or violent ways, so does a DECREASE in ill-gotten-gains reduce the ability to control the content and distribution of that flow.
It’s a classic feedback loop, and plays out like such loops tend to do: exponentially.
The Cabal has lost control of BOTH the money and the information, and the feedback loop has reached the point that some of the brighter pirates can see where both are headed. The truth is coming out AND the transactional value of their ill-gotten-gains ARE going to zero.
So they make their play to switch sides while they’ve still got a coat they can turn.
